Text messages from A plus Auto trying to place blame on me for them selling an unsafe vehicle.
    Celina E.

DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE. Would give 0 stars if it were possible. I purchased a car from A Plus Auto with 1mm brakes. Cars at a dealership are not supposed to be sold in unsafe conditions. They are to pass a safety inspection prior to putting on the lot. My mechanic told me I was very lucky to have made it home on such a rainy evening. I have spent over 2500 on repairs and expect to spend more. I asked them to settle this with me and they told me they never authorized me to get work done but also asked me for proof of the bad brakes- I am not a mechanic I had to pay to have the car looked at and I needed the brakes done asap- I have small children. They offered me to come back to their dealership and have the brakes done by their mechanic (who obviously didn't inspect the vehicle for safety properly) they are 200 miles away from my home. It was not recommended I drive with 1mm brakes. I could have crashed on my way there the same way I could have lost my life driving home during a storm. They offered to pay less than half of what I paid on only the brakes and tried to have me sign a gag order. I want to warn others of what happened here. I haven't even had the car a week and they refuse to respond to me now because I didn't want to take their extremely unreasonable offer. I am in talks with an auto fraud attorney and highly recommend you stay away, it could cost you your life. They don't care about their customers or their safety, frankly not even the law. Which is in place for our safety. Take your business elsewhere, they will abuse their position and sell you a car that is super unsafe and try to tell you the car was good and tell you that you should have known before leaving. I'm not a mechanic and don't have the luxury of knowing one that would accompany me 200 miles away from home. They don't want to settle the issue in a civilized manner so I am reporting them to everyone I can think of. Hopefully they don't stay in business much longer. Someone could get seriously hurt. Proceed with extreme caution, they are not honest people.

Hi Roman, I'm going…read moreto respectfully disagree with your response because we never even got to the point of sitting down to complete paperwork or process payment. The reason the deal stopped was because the vehicle developed multiple serious issues during my test drives. On the first and second test drive, the vehicle triggered: * Check engine light * Battery charging malfunction warning * Engine overheating warning * Limp mode, limiting the car to under 1,500 RPM After returning to the dealership, I personally inspected the vehicle and found the main pulley had failed/separated. What concerns me is that the vehicle was advertised across multiple sites as being "fully inspected & serviced by our state-of-the-art top-rated service department." Based on the condition the vehicle presented in during my visit, I do not feel that statement reflected my experience. If I wasn't serious about purchasing the vehicle, I would not have: * Sent a $1,000 deposit * Booked a flight from Southern California to Sacramento * Planned to drive the vehicle 7-8 hours home At no point was I unwilling to buy the vehicle due to paperwork. The transaction never progressed that far because the focus became the vehicle's mechanical condition and drivability concerns. My review was based entirely on my actual experience at the dealership. I also have photos and videos documenting the warning messages and condition of the vehicle during the test drives. I wish you and your team the best moving forward.

There were several aspects of the visit that I appreciated:…read more* The facility was clean, and refreshments and donuts were provided * The undercarriage inspection video was helpful and informative * The cashier kindly allowed me to borrow a charging cord for my phone * My Service Advisor, Matt, was informative and did a great job explaining the available service options to help me decide which services to select for my vehicle However, I am extremely dissatisfied with the overall service experience and wait time. I scheduled my service appointment for 9:00 AM, but my Service Advisor, Matt, did not meet with me until approximately 9:45 AM. While he was very helpful during our discussion, I was quoted about an hour (possibly a little longer) for the completion of the service. By 11:30 AM, my vehicle was still not finished, and I had to ask the cashier to follow up with Matt for an updated ETA because he was assisting another customer. At approximately 12:00 PM, Matt apologized and explained that there was only one technician handling oil changes that day. He then advised me the vehicle would be ready in another 15 minutes; however, the service was not completed until around 12:30 PM. In total, I spent approximately 3.5 hours at the service center for a Service A appointment, which I find completely unacceptable, especially given the originally quoted timeframe. I understand unexpected delays can happen, but better communication and time management would have greatly improved the experience.

Then few week later the car broke down again with thermostat, air intake pipe. Battery all going out. Left me stranded in AZ. And now struggling to get management to help. One says they will try and cover the cost but no one calls back or responds . I thought I had got my car from a reputable company . But definitely they make it hard on their clients. Two month and everything is falling apart. Seems like they mechanics did not carefully go through it before selling it. Total lemon I am stuck in AZ paying thousands of dollars for repairs that should have been done before selling the car. And no one responds to my calls. My family vacation totally ruined.

On arrival at Service I was promptly greeted by name and the service was completed within an hour (a first for any dealership I've ever visited). Avoid this place at all costs…read more My husband negotiated a vehicle sale and a new lease deal for my mother-in-law with these shady people. The dealership agreed to the terms and made a good faith promise not to pressure her into purchasing any add-ons -- knowing she would be coming in alone, getting into her first lease, and unfamiliar with how leases work. They broke every part of that agreement. Not only did they change the terms and give her less than what was agreed upon for her trade-in, they pressured her into two unnecessary packages that increased her monthly payment by nearly $100. When she expressed discomfort and tried to leave with her original car, they conveniently "couldn't find her keys." While they stalled, they continued to pressure her -- leaving her feeling unsafe as a woman alone. She said she was sweating and experiencing tightness in her chest, and still they pressed on. She was so distraught that she ultimately agreed just to get out of there. To add insult to injury, they failed to return her house keys from the same key ring, leaving her to scramble for a spare just to get into her home that night. When she returned to retrieve her keys, she was treated poorly -- again. My husband had already called to complain, and Diane in financing, apparently personally offended by that, had a terrible attitude and treated my mother-in-law as though she were the problem. She had been nothing but kind and accommodating throughout the entire ordeal -- because that is the type of person she is. They saw that, and they preyed on it. For context, my husband and I negotiate leases this way regularly -- for ourselves and for friends -- and we never have issues. The process is simple: negotiate everything beforehand, go in, sign the papers, and leave. Niello confirmed they understood and agreed to exactly that. The moment they met my mother-in-law and realized they could manipulate her, they did. THEY NEVER EVEN APOLOGIZED FOR THE WAY THEY MADE HER FEEL. Not once. To say customer service here is atrocious is a severe understatement, especially for a "luxury" brand. Personally I only lease with other, more reputable luxury brands that have standards for how they treat people. This has definitely solidified that. Shame on you, Niello BMW staff. I sincerely hope nobody ever treats your own mother or any woman in your life that you love this way. * I waited to post this review as my mother-in-law needed to go in a third time to get a tutorial on how to use the functions of her new car, and I figured I'd give Diane and friends another chance to redeem themselves. Unfortunately, this woman was even more horrible and went out of her way to make my MIL's experience uncomfortable. Needless to say she will be taking her business to another BMW in the area.

Even though the pumps were supposed to be covered under the warranty, I still had to come out the pocket almost $900. While the mechanic had my engine taken apart, he inspected it and told me that the engine is so badly corroded (see pic)....that he didn't think I would get any longer than 6 months out of the car and I shouldn't drive long distances with it. I haven't even gotten 2 full years out this car yet and still owe $10k!?!? Long story short.....BEWARE of the vehicle you buy from here. Most of the cars are older, have high miles and are cars that certified dealers would not sell themselves. Do your research...ask for the Car Fax, have car checked with a mechanic and/or compare Kelly Blue book, before buying. It's worth the extra few thousand dollars to buy from a certified dealership, because you could be spending that extra thousands of dollars in repairs anyways, on a car from here. Don't end up in my situation!!!
