It was this attitude that had me sitting on a "Check Engine Soon" light for 6 months. Courtright was recommended to me by a friend. This place is fantastic. I called on MLK day with a laundry list of about 5 things I wanted fixed. They got me in the same day, fixed everything the same day, suggested one very necessary other repair (rear brake replacement - the improvement after the repair is obvious - no more "shimmy"), and I picked it up the same day. The price seemed very reasonable to me.

We continue to get the run around on a truck has been at true speed for over 2 months! We've already given John over $2000 for repairs that have not been done! We keep hearing excuses that they can't finish because they keep receiving the "wrong part". The 3rd car we made a huge mistake buy sending one of our customers to John. The original quote increased by more than $200 and was weeks later than promised. Our customers finally got it back today only to find out that one of the O2 sensors than was supposed to have been repaired hasn't been. We're having to take it to another mechanic again who says it will be about $275 and can have it in a few days. In the mean time we are lending them one of our cars for the second time because we feel so bad that they keep getting screwed over by John. We are just starting out and are barely making it ourselves. We lose money everyday that this truck is sitting at his shop not getting anything done. At this point all he has done is make things worse. It isn't drive-able and we can't afford to take it to another mechanic to have it fixed. We have to make huge payment to our bank every month- but John apparently doesn't care about his customers, deadlines or actually running his business. John is as crooked as they come! Once they fixed it and we received it there was a loud noise when backing the truck up, they said this was due to the catalytic converter they replaced it with being a little too big so it was rubbing up against another part and they simply would need to order a rubber part that would take care of the issue. I have been contacting them for months and this issue has still not been fixed. I don't recommend doing business with them. Our experience was a bad one.

With a simple oil change, they take pictures of key car parts and fluids and load them onto a free service for their customers where you can track your service and your car's systems' condition on your own. I have used a different mechanic for about 5-6 years, and they've lost my business to MPG. I came here the first time because of an oil change voucher I bought on Groupon. They were so great. Now I'm in the process of buying a used car and I called my regular mechanic to give him the heads up that I'd like to bring a car in for an inspection tomorrow morning, but I'd only have the car for a really short time because I haven't bought it yet. "Can you get me in around 10:15 tomorrow morning for a quick inspection?" "No. Sorry, John, but we'll fit you in when we can but it's first come first serve." So much for a business being loyal to a loyal customer who has dropped thousands with them over the years. MPG proved what they're like with a simple oil change. Richard will be completely honest and fair with you and he even advised me not to do some repairs that a different shop (alignment and tires, which KC, unfortunately, is not set up to do) told me I absolutely HAD to have done. Richard explained to me why it was not as "essential" as the other shop had said and saved me several hundred dollars, despite the fact that it meant he got less money for his work.
