Let me tell you a story about a young woman who went to buy a vehicle from this dealership. She…read morefound a Tacoma she loved after test driving several ones. So, she bought the one from. After a couple of months, she went to get an oil change. Her honest mechanic (yeah, there are still some out there) surprised her with some disturbing news. He told her her car appears to be totaled. At least given the condition it should be, he said. The under carriage was completely rusted out and the gasoline tank was hanging by a thread. He said it could fall off anytime and cause a potential disaster. So, she called the dealer (since she hadn't even received a title or plates yet) and at first he didn't want to mess with it. After threatening to get a lawyer involved, he said she could come back and trade it back in for a car on his lot and use the value she paid toward the purchase. She found another Tacoma. This time she drove it to her faithful mechanic. Again -- completely rusted. He told her he suspected this dealer gets his cars from states that experienced hurricanes. So, she then brought over her RAV4 and he gave it a thumbs up. After three tries she found a vehicle -- more expensive than she expected and not the vehicle of her choice, but she was offered limited options. Let me add her license plates came four. months later and the title came nearly six months later. The business practices at this dealership seem to me to be a little suspect. We are grateful the dealer did let her come and find one of the few vehicles worth to buy on his lot. However, my word of advice is to get any vehicle you intend to buy from this dealer inspected by a mechanic. And if you need an honest mechanic, I suggest Carter's in Pleasant Grove.

My car had a tire pressure light on that they said they would fix and when I had it in to fix the just reset the light. The light was on for a reason. There were multiple pieces of metal in the tire (which they said they took off and checked) I had to purchase a tire from Big O. I also had the oil change pckage and the 18 year old that did my last oil change over torqued my drain plug and bent the opening pretty bad so he put a really big after market plug in with a gasket. BMW said that the entire oil pan had to be replaced, Fortunately I went in and threw a big enough fit that they gave me a written promis that they would replace it if it ever leaked. Then I found that the rear passenger door was broken with the child lock on and the Transfer case was out. Everytime I took it back they said it was fine. The warranty that they sold me for 3k was locked to their service dept! I finally got someone to listen to me and they checked out the transfer case and said it did fail. It had metal shavings in the fluid. They used to check off that they rotated my tires and they didnt until I told them too. Then when I drove home my car started making a weird noise about a block from home. My husband checked and the lugnuts on my driver side front tire were so loose that it could have fallen off. I can see why they have been closed down. update: my oil pan is leaking now and the dealer is closed, the gentleman who promised a replacement is saying the they will honor it since it was all part of the Larry H Miller chain and he is still a district manager there. I am glad I had the manager brought into this when I was in there fuming . Still waiting to hear back where I take it for repair, another update coming.

We were there until after 7 p.m. and a not insubstantial chunk of that was waiting around. Their parking lot was also overstuffed with cars--not sure if they were all inventory or a combo of inventory and customers, but it was not really navigable. Had to park elsewhere and walk. That said, aside from the length of time, we had a pretty great experience with the team at Utah Used Cars. Matt was our salesman and did a great job answering questions and thoroughly explaining the process and options. Helen walked us through each piece of paperwork clearly and efficiently. Everyone was friendly and solicitous, offering water and snacks and even t-shirts. Long process but not complicated and we left with a reasonably priced car we're pleased with. Would recommend.

They do not give a single fuck about their customers they need to be shut down.

AVOID AT AL COSTS:…read more Yeah. Don't do business here. I bought a 2021 VW Tiguan new. Here we are, and its breaking down. I bought and paid for an all moving parts service contract, some how their system says it doesn't exist. WILD. So I take it in for an OIL LEAK. Days later, I am hearing back. The service writer took a day off, didn't transfer his work load to a coworker to check in on the car, left the customer waiting in limbo. Half of their digital estimate and repair system is confusing and junk. Two different things are causing leaks. One is fixed, the other needs approval, bringing the total to $1826. Taylor Dodson, the service writer, tells me that the total due is $1826 - for an oil leak. I find out afterwards that the bill is now $2820.26 because that $920 is AFTER the $1826. I have the message right here where he says the total cost is $1826. They nickle and dime you. I got 2x $195 inspection charges, for the same oil leak issue, that they claim is "separate". Charges for every little thing. Now I get to come up with an extra $1000. I wouldn't ever come back here, I don't trust them or their people. Shady business going on. Avoid if you are not filthy rich with money to just throw away.

As a repeat customer, I expected that loyalty and history would mean something, but my most recent experience has been extremely disappointing. I purchased a 2024 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport SE with Technology, and with only approximately 2,200 miles, the leather seats are already showing cracking and deterioration. I understand that issues can happen with any vehicle, but what has been most frustrating is how the situation has been handled. I contacted the dealership expecting assistance with what should clearly be a warranty concern. I was told that information would be submitted to Volkswagen for review. After waiting and following up, I contacted Volkswagen Customer Care directly and was informed that nothing had been submitted on their end. That leaves me with a very frustrating question: was the claim never submitted, or was I given incorrect information? Either way, the communication and follow-through have been unacceptable. This dealership has recently transitioned ownership to Ken Garff, and I sincerely hope this is an opportunity to improve the customer experience. A new owner should mean a renewed commitment to service--not customers having to chase down answers themselves after spending significant money on a new vehicle. I have been a loyal Volkswagen SouthTowne customer, but loyalty works both ways. Customers should feel appreciated and supported after the purchase, not forgotten once the paperwork is signed. I have photos documenting the condition of the seats, and I hope management takes this opportunity to address the issue and improve the experience for future customers.

My truck was towed (picture 1) back to the dealership where they kept it overnight. The dealership called me the next morning and said that a drain plug was left loose and they had to put in 2 1/2 quarts of oil to bring the level back up. When I arrived to get my truck, I noticed that the tonneau cover was broken and showed Chris Reynolds the Maintenance manager the damage (picture 2). There was also damage to the side of the bed (picture 3) and the front right corner of the cover was broken to the point that it would have been unsafe to drive it the nearly 90 miles to my home. I asked Chris to remove the cover. When they brought the truck back, I noticed that the side rails, where the cover had been connected near the back of the cab were bent, (pictures 4 & 5). I also showed Chris that the dome light in the back seat had been knocked off. Please compare the damage and paint marks on the side of the truck in picture 3 with the damage and paint marks on the back corners of the cab pictures 6 & 7. Also look at the rib and lock in picture 9 on the back end of the cover and compare that with the damage on top of the cab in Picture 8. Chris and the Asbury auto group claim that they were not responsible for the damage to the back corners and top of the cab, when I asked to see the security camera videos Chris fast forwarded to the places he wanted me to see none of which were clear images of the top of the truck. When I asked him to back the video up to a place where the truck was closer to the camera and did not have the sun reflection blocking the view, he got mad, cursed, and yelled at me and my wife that he was done helping. Jonathan, the General Manager of the Dealership, stood silently off to the side of Chris's desk and allowed Chris to end the meeting. I was also very surprised when Chris told me that one of the mechanics that removed the Tonneau cover was the mechanic that left the plug loose and started this problem in the first place also Chris told me to file a police report and a claim with my insurance company to have the damage repaired. The Sandy City police told me that because nothing was stolen from the vehicle it was just vandalism and they would not investigate. I find it very interesting that with all the damage nothing was stolen. This, dealership is no longer a part of the LHM group but is now owned by the Asbury auto Group of Alpharetta Georgia. I contacted Ruben Santiago of the Asbury auto group who was able to get me paid for the Tonneau cover but he stopped taking my calls and has not returned any of the 3 voice messages about the damage to the truck that an independent repair company estimates at $8,281.66 dollars. I have purchased 3 vehicles from this dealership since 2022 and have had all serviced there. I will no longer trust them with any of my vehicles and will not buy another vehicle from the Asbury auto group. People need to know the way customers are treated by this dealership so they can make an informed decision whether or not to use this business.
