We had researched and looked at a variety of trailers RPod and Grand Design. After positive feedback from friends and neighbors we turned our focus to Lance trailers. The quality of the build, smart and thoughtful design and the corresponding retention of value resulted in our scheduling a trip to the nearest Lance dealer, Galaxy Campers in Ontario. We had heard great things about David, the owner and Miguel, the sales manager. From an initial phone call to David and two subsequent visits where we met David and Miguel we experienced friendly, professional assistance without any pushiness. We ended up placing an offer to buy a new 2024 1875 model at an outstanding price. We negotiated some upgrades, an extra solar panel, two 300 amp hr lithium batteries and an E2 weight distribution anti sway hitch. They were able to complete the upgrades and we closed the sale today. Miguel went over every aspect of the trailer's design, controls having us interact to see firsthand how the controls and options worked. Thorough not rushed and addressing all our rookie questions. David dialed in the rear view camera and corresponding monitor so we had a perfect rear view as well as explaining all the steps in hitching and unhitching the trailer. Again I participated instead of just watching the steps involved. It's the little things replacing a tiny cotter pin with a larger one for ease of use, Paper work was efficient, both David and Miguel made sure I had their cell numbers for any later questions. Dave and his son Steve are incredible. We bought a used lance camper and they were kind enough to let us come to their shop to troubleshoot some issues. In the end there was nothing to fix and just our own user error. They spent a LOT of time with us showing us how to use things and recommending what repair work we may want to do ourselves (yes ourselves!). The wife and I decided to buy a travel trailer and "buy some memories" while the kids were young enough to enjoy them. We did our share of research and talking to various people and quickly decided a Lance was the trailer for us. They have a good reputation for quality and the floor plans and features we liked the most. We met Miguel and David (the owner of Galaxy Campers) at the RV Show in Fontana and he made a good impression up front. We spent another two days looking around but kept coming back to Lance and Miguel. We finally bought a 2445. They were ZERO pressure, unlike many other brands there. Truly, they don't have to. Lance sells itself. The quality and features really do the talking for them. Comforting us was the random encounter while tent camping in Utah with some Lance owners. Not only were they happy with their products but they knew of Galaxy Campers by name! They boasted about their good reputation within the Lance owner community which communicates openly on online forums and meets. Before the trailer arrived David had me come to his business with my tow vehicle and did an inspection of the unusual hitch arrangement to insure he mated everything with a good tow hitch and accessories. His expertise was very valuable. When the trailer arrived a little over a month later we met again at Galaxy Campers in Ontario. To say they were helpful would be a unbelievable understatement. They took delivery and then spent a few days doing a very thorough quality and function inspection. They then spent hours going over every single last detail, function, and feature of the trailer. They educated me on some mistakes new users often make which lead to expensive issues later and/or malfunctions. (I later read about these types of mistakes online and am truly grateful that they took the time to educate me and spare me such a fate.) It was not a cursory demo but a patient and detailed orientation. A few small adjustments were made and off we went. They even let me "test drive" a brake controller and see if I liked that particular model. A week later I received a "check up" text to see how things went and see if I had a good experience on the maiden voyage. Here's my perceptions: The team at Galaxy Campers, especially David and Miguel, are world class. They are down to earth, friendly, and knowledgeable about their products. They are into friendly and no-pressure sales. They offer very personal service and half my conversations with them we're direct to their cell phones. That's a big thing to me. I don't like impersonal answering services and systems with push button options. These guys acted like friends. I came across Galaxy Campers during a yelp search while looking for a Lance travel trailer. We were pretty much settled on going with a Lance and wanted to buy from a dealer with a good reputation. I was skeptical at first glance of any dealership with such a high rating so I had to see it for myself. I'm glad I did. From the time my family stepped on the lot we were treated right. Not fake "we are trying to sell you a trailer" right, but genuinely right. Never felt rushed or pressured. All questions were answered quickly because they know Lance products inside and out. We ordered a 2024 2185 from them that day. The build period was exactly the time they stated. When we picked up the trailer it was clean and ready at the time they said it would be. The walk through with Miguel was very thorough. During the walk through what looked like a NASCAR pit team was busy outside installing the load distribution hitch. By the time the walk through was done the hitch was installed and we were ready to sign paperwork and drive off. Very impressive how efficient yet relaxed that experience was. I know that they went through the trailer very carefully to make sure all the systems worked not because they told me that's what they do, but because after several trips and over 20 nights in the trailer everything works. There are many brands of trailers and campers out there. If you are looking at buying a Lance and care about where you buy it from, you should look here first. I traveled from Sacramento area passing many Lance dealers on the way down to deal with Miguel and Dave. They have an awesome thing going on in Ontario. I seen Miguel's Craigslist add on a new Lance 650 and messaged him on a Monday and had a deal done by the following day. This being my first truck camper I had many questions and concerns, they put my mind at ease! I had a deal setup on a 2018 650 and get all my paperwork the day before I leave and it says 2019. Come to find out there was something they needed on the 2018 from Lance and wasn't expected to deliver before I was to pick it up. Instead of just telling me the camper isn't ready for pickup they put me in the 2019 at the deal we had for the 2018! Unreal! I stated to Miguel I had to be out of his shop by 2pm on the day of pickup. He tells me to come in at 8am to install the torklift accessories and he will have me out by 2. This place seems nice when you are interested in buying a camper, but the second they are done selling you on something good luck trying to have them return your call... Last week I bought a used camper (not from them). Looking for advice I called them to ask some basic questions. At first it was going great but when they found out I already had a camper they said they would give me a call back and never did. I called them back and they again were nice and then said they would look something up for me and call me back but never did... if they did not want to help me they could have said so and not wasted my time. I can't speak for there camper prices but I would be careful cuz after they no longer have something to sell you the honeymoon is over. read more

If you have been at or near any RV/Travel Trailer dealer or mechanic, you know that the first word that generally comes to mind is shady, well, we were looking to upgrade from a Forest River Surveyor we purchased in 2017, knowing that we were looking to do this during the height of the pandemic, we know it would be a challenge trying to get a new 2445, much less try to avoid the outrageous prices during that time, well luckily enough my son had a wierd phase of checking out travel trailers on youtube, one of which I had saw with him with Miguel of Galaxy Campers showing one of the models. So my Smart jack failed and I have a extended Warranty. Crystal had to argue on my behalf to get the extended warranty company to pay for the jack. We made the appointment for today, I did not have to wait and Steve installed the jack while I waited and of course I talked his ears off about a few other issues. lol. Dave was listening to our conversation about my fridge turning off while in transit and he made an adjustment. Hopefully it will solve the problem. This is one company that still has outstanding service. We bought our Lance 1985 (slightly used) last August. We are currently on a cross country road trip. Last night we pulled up to a camp spot on a winery in an Iowa cornfield and filled with city water. When we went to turn on the water - the pump would not prime. My husband called Dave back in California on his cell (since the dealership was closed) and he walked him through a short procedure. In no time at all we were up and running. Truly 5-Star service. I only write reviews when they are truly warranted and in this case it is. I purchased a new Lance travel trailer from Galaxy at the end of February. The buying experience with Galaxy was hands down the best experience I have had (this is my fourth travel trailer). Since they are an hour and half drive away from me we discussed all options over the phone and email. We also negotiated the price over email and the phone. There was no back and forth of let me check with my manager and returning with some other offer, it was just easy. As with any travel trailer there were a few items that needed to addressed at purchase and Galaxy did a phenomenal job addressing the issues. Before departing we were given a direct phone number that we can text or call should any issues come up. We did have a few questions/issues and received quick responses, even after business hours - amazing! If I were to summarize... Galaxy is truly an amazing dealer who values their customers.
