Came here with my family because I ran out of bacon and sausages at home. I think this place is pricier than other diners closer to me, but I appreciate that their pancakes are actually fluffy as advertised. I'm so picky when it comes to pancakes! I also like that the home fries are a bit crispy. I come here from time to time and order the Hungry man special because I like a little bit of everything. My server was so genuine and friendly, top tier!

Eggs over corned beef hash.

Stopped here on the way home to Virginia from Block Island. Had corned beef hash and eggs with fruit instead of home fries. The hash was excellent, clearly made here by hand. My family loved their food as well. Prices were reasonable and the service was outstanding. Will stop again in the future.

The fluffiest pancakes and the best corn beef hash I've had hands down. The home fries are excellent. Seasoned well. I've only done food delivery.

Meatloaf on toasted rye with mushroom gravy. Very tasty.

This was my first time visiting this establishment on a Sat afternoon. Very busy, particularly for takeout. Extensive menu and most items seemed reasonably priced. Ordered a meatloaf sandwhich on toasted rye with mushroom gravy, coleslaw, cucumber salad. Cucumber salad was a little bland and pieces too large for my preference but o.k. Coleslaw was very good. Meatloaf was moist and tasty, bread perfectly toasted, gravy had fresh cooked mushrooms. The place seemed very clean, including the restrooms, and I witnessed continual cleaning of tables and chairs during my visit. While i did not try any, they had lots of delicious baked goods and desserts available. Service was adequate--my waitress seemed a bit spastic and rushed, but she did ok. Nice black and white photos of an older Bridgeport decorate the space. All in all, seems like a soild place for grub andI would come back and try more dishes.

2nd time here in 2 weeks. Food is cooked perfectly and prices are reasonable. Server is friendly and accurate. Just wish I lived closer

Three cheese blintzes (homemade and awesome) , scrambled eggs and home fries.

I stopped here purely by accident. Needed a break from driving and wound up at the Galaxy. Best breakfast I've had in along time. The homemade blintzes were amazing! Eggs and potatoes were very much to my liking as well. I stuffed myself silly! Definitely going to return on my next trip to New England. WF

I always order from this place and the food here is always good, but on fathers day I wanted to take my boyfriend out to have dinner and I thought of this place and it was the first time going on and actually sitting there to have dinner and I can only say that it feels so comfortable and the staff there was very kind and friendly. It is good to bring your family for breakfast, lunch or dinner as it is a nice place to relax and enjoy yourself here. Love it and recommend it!!

I hadn't been to Galaxy Diner in a long time! I enjoyed the mimosas and my omelette enough that I went back a second time a few days ago. The omelette was my favorite because it tasted so fresh. And the waitstaff is always nice!

I honestly won't recommend any place who is not here for Customer service. Since COVID ironically everyone's TRYING to get rich by trippling their prices but coming up short in the FOOD ITSELF!!! Try GALAXY DINER IN BPT MAIN STREET! They feel that no matter what size the sandwich or plate the price should be the same. I ordered a meatball Parmesan on a hard roll and they wanted to charge me 14.95 lmaooo I asked how many meatballs in the roll they said 3 so I asked how many in grinder? She said 6 lol then I asked so what's the price difference n she said THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE. WHICH THREW ME FOR A LOOP. How can u offer less food for more money? Lol GALAXY DINER AND THEIR OWNERS SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES. How about u worry about cooking just "GOOD FOOD" never mind the price the food has to be good n yours is not only not good cause ur cooks suck yours is BAD & OVERPRICED. Hu

So on my way to do a side quest for my job, I decided to see what I could have lunch. Originally,…read moreI had my sights set on an El Salvadoran joint over on Fort Point, but that was essentially a cash only place, so I continued on to see what else was available. After a fair bit more walking, I walked by this place, a Greek restaurant that was in the same plaza that used to have a Five Guys there. Initially I walked a slight bit further to see if there wasn't anything else, but it didn't take me long to circle back around and head over here. Customer service was fine. It was my first visit here, so they walked me through how to order, and yes they do have menus you can take if you decide to come back in the future. I did however want to take a pic of their wall menus for Yelp because that's what I do as a Yelper. They kind of said it right away as I took my pictures, which leads me to think they have a slight bit of trouble trusting the process. That said, I won't knock them too much for it because I knew they meant well with it. I do however want to point out one comparison that one of the employees mentioned here: that their ordering system was like Chipotle. Now, I know some people swear by Chipotle and would likely die on that hill, but I have been to Chipotle enough times that I really wish she didn't say that. It undersells this restaurant to a point that putting this on the same level as Chipotle is a disservice to Truly Greek. Why? Because unlike them, this place is actually cleaned after, and the bathroom is cleaner and actually encourages good hygiene. Qdoba would be a far fairer comparison if that employee really wanted to name a fast food establishment to compare this to. If you choose to eat-in, be careful where you sit. They had a chair keeping the door open, so I spent my meal feeling the cold wind blowing on my face. Seriously, are they trying to turn me into Frosty the Snowman in late May? But if you're willing to brave it or choose another seat, the chairs are made of wood with bamboo cushioning. Honestly, the chairs weren't bad to sit on. The food was good. Not perfect, but good. I first tried had the Greek Fries. The fry itself has a light crunch, but it's also a bit limpish if that makes sense. The feta cheese do bring it to a higher level and makes the fries pretty good to eat. The one thing I did notice as ate these fries was that the vinegar that went into the dish stood out more than the rest of the dish, and I can't be sure if that's a good thing or not. It really depends on how much you like vinegar, but yes, the vinegar was quite prominent here. As for what I built, I had a pita with tzatziki, lamb, red pepper, feta, red onion, and cucumber as well as a second sauce I don't quite remember. It was another sauce that was whitish in color. Gyros in general are a tad difficult for me to get through, but this was a good gyro and I wouldn't mind having this one again. If half-stars were a thing, I'd give this a 3.5, but I rounded up to a 4 here. Other than the windy air coming in, this was an overall good visit. Oh, interesting fact, the boss came in while I was in the middle of my meal. I didn't talk to him, but it looks as though he brings his family here every now and then. I mostly ignored these interactions because the only thing relevant as far as I'm concerned was me and my food. So yeah, there ya go!
