Freshly sliced pastrami (very thin), russian dressing (enough to be just a bit messy), fresh rye, and a gooey sharp swiss... on the griddle juuuuust long enough to make a crispy outside, but an easy bite through the crust... and juuust hot enough so I took delicious bite-sized bites... it was perfect!!! Combined with homemade slaw and potato salad (again, juuust enough of sweet and creamy and fresh/crunchy). A simple luncheonette with fast and smiling service, and DELICIOUS food. My wife and I were in here recently, I seem to remember this place as having better food and cheaper prices as well as good coffee. All three were lacking The menu selection for breakfast are nothing that creative, pretty basic. The coffee was nearly undrinkable and no, I am not a coffee snob, brew my own regular coffee each day. 2 of us for 2 basic egg dishes cost us 25 bucks with tip. The only really good thing about the place is the service was good, not great but solid. Much rather eat somewhere else read more

Hit this place for breakfast with my son after his soccer game. This little diner is a hidden gem. Great family run place tucked away in the Huntington green area. Guy working the grill is a pro. You get great food at very reasonable prices. Had the hungry man platter which was awesome. My son had the bacon and eggs combo. Very good home fries. We both cleaned the plates, not a crumb left. That's how you know it's good food. This is not your yogurt and granola place. It's a stick to your ribs, good for your soul type of joint. I love the breakfast here. The corned beef hash is the best I have ever had. I went here for lunch once and the burger was just okay which drops my rating one star. But, my regular breakfast of three eggs over easy, rye toast, home fries, coffee, the best corned beef hash I have ever had and srircha sauce just makes me happy. I'm going to start by saying I will give them the benefit of the doubt because they may have had to make cuts because of the pandemic. I cant imagine how hard owning a restaurant must be right now. That being said, I tried this place for the first time after searching yelp for a place to get good homemade corned beef hash locally. The reviews sounded promising but the results were disappointing. The hash did not taste like homemade hash I've had other places; usually there are visible chuncks instead of ground mush. Also, for me, the best part of a hash and egg plate is opening the egg yolk and having it run over the hash. Well, the eggs I ordered as over easy were over hard, over medium at best - they were not runny at all. Overall the dish lacked flavor even after adding hot sauce and I did not finish it. So maybe it was an off-day, or maybe I ordered the wrong thing. I'm always willing to give a place of second try and considering that they were very reasonably priced, I probably will. I hope the next time will be redeeming. I would love to have a good diner close to home. read more

We've been coming here on Sundays and ABSOLUTELY love it. The prices are fantastic and the food is always spot on. None of the meals are over $8 and I don't think we've ever waited longer than 10 minutes for our food. I always like a diner that uses those thick coffee mugs! Real family vibe here. This place is a jewel. Walking in and seeing friendly faces at table and on stools along counter top eating area. Brought me back to the days when my dad would bring me to places like these before hunting early in the morning. Not too many diners like these left in America. I ordered nothing fancy or even looked a menu. 3 eggs over easy with home fries, toast and bacon. Cooked in front of me by the nice, I think polish woman, served hot right when it was done. The home fries had that crispy edges without burning. Excellent. Something few diners get right. Eggs large, perfectly made. Bacon 3 large strips also cooked with slight crispness. Had to wait a minute for them to cool. Everything was so good I ordered two more eggs and bacon same way. I don't know about lunch but I am sure it is good as well. Really good food, modestly priced. I have brought my children here many times and have ordered food to take home. I've ordered the BLT club, cheeseburgers, love their fries, and wraps for my wife. They also have great soups! You can eat at the counter and they have about 6-8 tables each able to seat 4 people. Great thick bacon too!
