3 eggs over easy with sriracha sauce, rye toast, home fries and the best corned beef hash I have ever had by a mile. Happiness.
Edmund D.

I love the breakfast here. The corned beef hash is the best I have ever had. I went here for lunch once and the burger was just okay which drops my rating one star. But, my regular breakfast of three eggs over easy, rye toast, home fries, coffee, the best corned beef hash I have ever had and srircha sauce just makes me happy. Definitely come for breakfast.

Hungry Man & Veggie Omelet

AMAZING breakfast. My husband & I were visiting from out of out of town and came across this town jewel. Very family friendly, extremely reasonable prices and their sweet staff is happy to serve you. *Pictured is the hungry man's breakfast & veggie omelet (definitely the best I've ever had!). We will for sure be returning for more good food as soon as we can :)

Hash

I'm going to start by saying I will give them the benefit of the doubt because they may have had to make cuts because of the pandemic. I cant imagine how hard owning a restaurant must be right now. That being said, I tried this place for the first time after searching yelp for a place to get good homemade corned beef hash locally. The reviews sounded promising but the results were disappointing. The hash did not taste like homemade hash I've had other places; usually there are visible chuncks instead of ground mush. Also, for me, the best part of a hash and egg plate is opening the egg yolk and having it run over the hash. Well, the eggs I ordered as over easy were over hard, over medium at best - they were not runny at all. Overall the dish lacked flavor even after adding hot sauce and I did not finish it. So maybe it was an off-day, or maybe I ordered the wrong thing. I'm always willing to give a place of second try and considering that they were very reasonably priced, I probably will. I hope the next time will be redeeming. I would love to have a good diner close to home.

Nice place. Very friendly. The corned beef hash definitely didn't live up to expectations from other reviews. Everything else was good.

My daughter and I went on a Mexican dining adventure at Agave Diner in Seymour on Friday on a…read morerecommendation from a workmate! We had the Breakfast burrito (no eggs for me which was no issue and they offered sub tofu if you like!) with Longaniza sausage, homemade beans, avocado, home fries, cheese and more .... Fresh chips and salsa, triple tacos with a different filling in each, birria beef, carnitas and chicken tinga. She had to eat a bunch of meat to pick them up they were so loaded! And the most delicious home fries! I had the agua Fresca which was elderberry and lime and so delicious! They rotate flavors daily apparently! The place looks like nothing from the outside but wow!!!!! What a gem! We picked up take out for my hubby too and the whole check was only $62! The owners/servers were lovely, so welcoming and accommodating, this is definitely going to become a repeat spot for us! And there's a parking lot right next to it so no worries about that!

I've been meaning to try this place for sometime now. The pictures of their food, and their reviews…read moreenticed me and I surely wasn't disappointed. The place is small and is shaped like an old school diner, located in the corner of an intersection I've passed many times but never noticed the diner. The atmosphere was family friendly, clean, and fun to be in. The staff, which is family, were so sweet and attentive and right there when you needed them. I ordered their churro French toast and chilaquiles. The French toast is everything the hype around it is, and the chilaquiles, my first time trying them ever, were out of this world. The chips were covered in sauce but somehow still crispy, despite how long it took me to get through the dish. I got their freshly squeezed juice of the day which was beet based and I loved it. There is no doubt I'll be going back here, great food and great experience, thank you Agave !
