I recently posted a google review for Galaxy Draperies, their staff, and service when I began the window covering project for my new home, and I felt compelled to follow up with a final review upon completion. Overall, I have found the product and customer service to be outstanding. Although I experienced a couple of minor issues, one being with an installation in one of the rooms by an additional installer. I contacted Bernadette Barreras, my reliable Assistant Sales Manager/ Representative, to express my concerns. She responded immediately and discussed possible solutions with me. She immediately put me at ease. The company acted promptly and professionally, and I was soon scheduled for an adjustment and resolution visit. Antonio Hutchison, my regular installer, is truly an artist and perfectionist. His professionalism, expertise, and experience are exceptional, and he is brilliant at what he does. My finished product is beautiful, in large part because of his workmanship. Bottom line: Highly recommend! The whole process was quick, easy, and painless. I was walking around at Costco and saw a display for Graber window coverings and was intrigued since that was actually a project I was wanting to get into but just never started. I was able to get an appointment with a specialist within 2 weeks. I met with Niles who was very knowledgeable and helpful with picking the right products that addressed pain points while still being mindful of budget. I really appreciated that he was not pressuring any kind of upsells and he was really conscious of what would make me happy in the long run. After signing contracts, Stella was wonderful to work with and she was in touch with me regularly to update me on the status changes to the order. She actually was able to get the cellular shades and blinds in early, so I was able to get them installed only a couple weeks after the order was placed. I was given a time slot of 1:30 to 3:30 PM and was notified the day of installation that Evan would be arriving around 3 PM. Evan arrived shortly after 3 PM and was able to install the window coverings in a couple of hours. He was super sweet, efficient, and professional. He got everything patched up (from previous blinds), installed the new blinds, and cleaned up and disposed of the old blinds. As a bonus, since the contract was through Costco, I was emailed a Costco shop card for 10% within one week after the installation was completed. We have now had the new shades for a couple weeks and I love them! The cellular shades have been great for reducing the heat in the house during this past heat wave and the triple blinds installed in my daughter's room have been a major upgrade by providing flexibility in keeping one or two sides of the window open while maintaining privacy with the large middle section. If I need to get any other window coverings I will definitely come back to Galaxy Draperies for their professionalism, excellent work, and wonderful customer service! read more

We found Galaxy Draperies through Costco and figured the affiliation meant we could trust them because we are avid Costco loyalists. For the most part, this was true. Setting up a design meeting was super easy and was done via text messaging. I was impressed with how streamlined everything was. Niles came out a week later on a Saturday and spent a couple hours explaining the company/brand and quality of Graber manufactured shutters. He is a professional and good salesman. We signed up that day. All was well, until we had a snag with our financing option. We chose the interest free 18 month option but ended up getting 5 yr plan at 24% interest! I was forced to pay off the entire thing at once in order to avoid such high interest. The other hiccup was being told that a single shutter box could cover our front window but then later being told it was too long and would need a spacer between two smaller ones. Two weeks later, I then get a call saying they don't make spacers and I have to buy a piece of wood at Home Depot myself. Both of these issues are why a star was removed from this review. Outside of that, it took about 6 weeks to get the shutters delivered and installed. Stella and Carol were in good communication and had an install appointment within 3 days of delivery. Paco did a great job installing everything. Overall, we are happy with how the shutters look and feel. We appreciate the privacy and also the option of flooding our house with sunlight. They look sleek and clean. A week later, we got our 10% Costco gift card. We may order more shutters for the back of the house. Let's hope the experience is a little smoother next time read more

We ordered our blinds from Galaxy/Graber (through Costco) several years ago, and they have been absolutely beautiful. After many years, a few of them started having issues. I assumed it was something we'd either have to repair ourselves or just live with, since it had been over five years since our purchase. To my surprise, Jehn sent out John to take a look. Several blinds across different rooms weren't functioning perfectly, and because the original color and fabric were no longer available, replacing just the malfunctioning ones would have left us with mismatched rooms. Jehn and Stella went above and beyond, working tirelessly to get entire rooms approved for replacement. And when they realized that would still leave our home with different colors in some areas, they went even further--replacing every single shade in the entire house so everything would match perfectly, just as we had originally chosen. At the time of installation the tech showed up on time and installed the shutters in one room perfectly. In the second room the roller shades were a little trickier due to the uneven window. We were taken care of by John. Let me tell you all the ways John was efficient, professional, classy, and just AWESOME! He came in to take measurements of the home windows and to install.
