I bought a beautiful and very expensive set of automatic blinds about 3 years ago. Predictably, they worked perfectly yntil after the warranty expired. Every time I needed an adjustment or repair, I had to pay $250 in advance for the technician to come, no matter how minor the issue. Obviously, that adds up quickly. Also, to inquire about service or delivery or anything other than sales, you have to deal with different people in different departments, and for some reason that has felt very impersonal and sometimes frustrating. They encourage communicating by text, but there are often long intervals before you get a response--even in the middle of one conversation. In sum, I feel the blinds are lovely, but the business model and customer care leaves a lot to be desired. read more

Bernadette came out to their home and walked them through all the options and materials step by step. She made the order process so easy for them. They really enjoyed her lovely personality. Alfredo came out to their home to take the measurements for their order and was very kind, professional and personable as well. He went over all the details and specifications to make sure they were getting exactly what they wanted. Their new lovely automatic roller blinds were installed by Antonio. They love their new beautiful blinds and they absolutely raved about Antonio. He was so patient and kind. He worked through setting things up for them so they not only could control the blinds via remote control, but also through their Alexa via voice commands. I live out of the country and my parents are not technical. He worked with me via the phone to get the required app downloaded on my parent's phone so they could get the Alexa connection working. This was so incredibly helpful and he was so patient and generous with this time. But then, Antonio went ABOVE AND BEYOND.... when I mentioned my dad's hearing aids had lost the bluetooth connection to the TV, he even sorted that out for them. What a wonderful, kind man. The Roman shades I ordered were very nice and installation was good. However, I was promised a 15% Costco shop card. i ordered right away and was given a 10% shop card. Galaxy says the 15 % offer had expired but there was no date mentioned by them and i did not like the bait and switch tactic to get business. Costco should reevaluate doing business with Galaxy Draperies Since it does not live up to their transparent and honest business model. read more
