I absolutely love the motorized shades Bryce and his team installed in my Pergola and I highly recommend using SoCal Screen and Shade for both indoor and outdoor installations. My Pergola was a challenge to add motorized shades to because it slopes intentionally to drain water, but shades cannot be installed at an angle. Bryce carefully took measurements on 2 separate occasions and clearly set my expectations as to how the shades would look when completed. He added a bias to the fabric to accomodate for the slope that existed both at the top of the pergola and also in the pavers below. (Pavers are sloped for drainage too.) I could not be happier! The installation and the color match is so perfect that the slope accommodation is not visible unless you know what to look for. I love that I can use 1, 2 or 3 of my shades at a time and I can use them to keep the Pergola clean, to keep the inside of the Pergola warm when it's cold outside or I can use them to keep out sun and glare as needed - either all the way down or only partially down. After I used the shades for a few days with the remote, I decided it was important to be able to control the shades from our phones too. The after installation good service continued and Bryce made that so for us for a very fair and reasonable fee. I had another after installation add on to the job and once again, Bryce accommodated me at a fair and reasonable price. If you are looking for a motorized shade company, look no further. Got new screen doors installed on our front door and french sliding patio door leading to our backyard and these screens look so sleek and amazing!!! We bought a new front door and didn't want something that was going to cover the door so these are perfect! Since they are retractable you can't even tell we have screens when they are not in use.
