If I could give 0 stars I would. I went in to get my rook cartilage pierced. They claimed to be extremely sanitary, but they weren't following covid or general PPE guidelines and that should have been my first sign. I asked multiple times if their jewelry was surgical steel and if it was 100% sterile, they assured me it was. As you can see from the pictures within 2 days of the piercing my ear was doubled in size, flaming red, hard as a rock and oozing puss. I didn't even have the piercing for a week and I had to have it removed from my general Doctor. I was immediately prescribed 500mg antibiotics 3x a day for 10 days. I also was not provided with a after care sheet as I have been given in the past by other reliable piercing parlors. Worst service and experience ever. Waste of money. read more

Highly recommended place by the Napa Valley Jewelers in Downtown I FInALLY went in today to get a 2nd piercing to my ear. , * Last one was done was back home many years ago ---- WTH * I did it myself with a needle with TWO holes I made ... it closed up when I was in my 30's--- my younger brother encourage me to do it b/c HE did his own! Man we were so young ! Worse experience ever! Like I murdered someone ... At Galaxy, Mike did my ear . No problem, no pain. Needle waaaaaaay better ! They were friendly and I felt relaxed. DO NOT GET A NOSE PIERCING FROM JAY! I stopped by and spoke to Jay about a nose piercing. He seemed knowledgeable, so the following week, I returned with a friend to get my nose and her ear pierced. His instructions were to clean it twice a day and that I could change it after a week. The piercing came out, so I returned the following Saturday and got it pierced again, paying another fee. When he said to wait another week, I questioned him on it since a couple of websites said to wait 2-3 months, others as high as 6-8 to avoid infections and to let it properly heal. He said they were wrong and that people can "modify the information on websites." Found the second post that came out and no wonder, he cut it so short it couldn't help but fall out. I did a lot of research, and the absolutely wrong thing to do is change after a week. On top of that, the second post fell out because he trimmed it too short. Two piercings that didn't work and improper aftercare advice is wrong on so many levels. I will let my piercing heal and research another place that follows the proper protocols. I highly recommend you stay away from Galaxy if this is their standard of recommendations for care and service. read more

After looking for a piercing shop all day this place was a great find as they were affordable and sanitary. My friend and I got our nose pierced. It was a quick process and we also picked out some extra studs as they were priced well. I would have liked to have picked my initial stud but I'm happy with the result. read more

I always get excellent customer service at Galaxy. Today, they went above and beyond the call of customer service. My wife and I went in with our teenager for a piercing. My daughter requested my wife hold her hand during the procedure and that's when it happened. My wife became dizzy and almost unresponsive. The owner and his employee jumped into action bringing water and gum for my wife. Within 10 minutes she was feeling better and we were able to leave. THANK YOU GALAXY SMOKESHOP!! Mike was very rude and was giving me attitude since I walked in the shop , I went to get my nose pierced and he was being very rude called me a bitch for saying I will just get my Nose pierced from somewhere else because of the fact that he was laughing in my face and making rude comments before I could even put the mark on my nose and told me he couldn't give me my money back even thought I did not Receive a piercing at all and told me to never go back which is not a problem because I never go there anyways it's very gross and they sell tobacco products to my Under aged cousin . read more

Since I last came in, I've gotten a couple more piercings from this guy and he's clean every time. Recently I had my medusa done by him too. It's a little off and a bit too vertical for my taste but it's not really noticeable unless I complain enough. I hear his jewelry is not the best material but it's fantastic for the prices that he works with you on. I always get a good deal coming in since he recognizes me and am planning to go in soon for the smokeshop side of the shop soon. I've only been in there once before but I got a neat dab rig for $40 (about 7 inches tall) and the person I gifted it to was really happy with it. I really like how many different styles he has too because I cannot tell you how many times I've walked into a smoke shop with some of the most BORING bongs for exorbitant prices. He also trusts you in that he doesn't need to hover around you. No matter how indecisive I am, he's always been patient and doesn't try to oversell me. Guy's got a funny sense of humor and the customers coming in all seem happy. Be wary of the extra charge if you forget to bring cash though!!! read more

Sold me Tobacco products that expired 5 YEARS AGO, I went to return it and said "that's too bad I can't do anything" and refused to give me my money back and eventually offered to exchange for other EXPIRED PRODUCTS so I left without my money or product because these people are extremely rude. 5 stars I've gone to them for two years, I got my regular nose piercing done and my septum and everything was sterile and it was done within mins, nothing ever got infected and they recommend to me what I should do to clean it and what I should buy. They also had the cleaning care I could buy there. Period simple as that their great. And totally affordable. read more

Three of us went in for piercings; one nose, one ear lobe (second holes), and one ear cartilage. Was greeted by Mike. Very friendly and very attentive. Mike informed us he had been doing piercings since 2005, and seemed very confident. The piercings were quick, and he even showed me the new needle he used in the package. I love the guy that works at galaxy. He's always so so friendly and helpful. I've gotten bongs, pipes, grinders, and raw cones from him. He's always made me feel welcome. This is the one smoke shop in Napa that I don't feel rushed at. Prices are great. I can go to other shops in Napa and spend $45 on a cheaply made pipe, but when I go to galaxy I can get a decent pipe for $25. He always has a great selection and the knowledge to sell me what I need. Favorite spot in Napa for my smoking needs. :-) read more

I've been doing business with this place for probably 10 years or more. My guess is I spent well over a thousand dollars over the last 10 years. Recently I came in to purchase a tank for my battery. I asked a gentleman by the name of Moe who was the owners boy if he had a tank that was compatible with my serpent motofo box. After Consulting with his father they sold me on a Kanger Tech ProTank 2 Clear Atomizer Series. At the time I was happy because they said they would give me a deal only $20. After inspecting the unit my belief was it was an open box but no big deal because the price was right. After filling the tank and screwing on to my battery there was absolutely no air flow causing the tank to not work. When I unscrew the tank the flow works but does not once screwed onto the battery. Concerned but not too worried because I figured they would take care of it I, made my way back to the store to see if they had any information that would help. Well I was told by Moe " they've never had any complaints except for me on this tank and there was nothing he could do for me". Moe proceeded to try and sell me on another unit that started around $40 and up. I said well I understand, but what are we going to do about this tank that you already sold me under the impression it was going to work with my existing battery. I was told once again they've never had any complaints. I mentioned that I would not be complaining either if the unit worked. I ask if he could simply show me a battery that this thing worked on. He said they don't have anything here that would work with.( keep in mind they have well over a hundred different batteries in the store) Therefore my understanding is he sold me old technology that was not compatible as they promised when they sold it to me. Or they sold me a unit that was returned and did not work for a discount price under false impression. Whichever the case it's very sad that they would throw a valuable customer away like that and let me leave unhappy with a useless product to me not caring about making right for a mere $20 purchase. Seeing there is three or four other shops in the area I would recommend trying any of the other three if you're in Napa unless you want to risk buying something under false impressions and no return or guarantee. Spencer at Cal e-cigs right down the street always takes great care of me and backs his word. Honestly, I'm surprised Galaxy is still in business, but I guess there's enough youngsters willing to spend their money and not worry about such things as proper business practice. I won't throw another dollar this way. Wasted my time and money and was not treated respectfully in the end. One of the things I was taught is the most valuable things in life is your word. Came in to get my belly button pierced for my birthday, the guy was so nice and comforting! It was done in a matter of seconds, healed properly and also gave me a sample of an oil to use for the healing process! Definitely will be coming back for my tongue and nose to be pierced. This place used to be Doc of Rock and, wow, if you thought it was gross, rude, and gave dirty/bad piercings then (and they did- I speak from experience), Galaxy will blow your mind. Nasty. The people were rude and horrible, not so much to me, as I "look like I belong there" but to a nice lady and her son who were trying to buy a present for the son's girlfriend. Terrible!!! I got my ear pierced. He dropped it inside my ear. The earring went all the way down my ear I had to go to the ER and get it out. It was hitting my eardrum and I was in so much pain. He refused to give me my money back. Rude and not reliable! read more
