This is a great little wine shop with a well-curated collection at a variety of price points. They have a solid import collection with a nice variety of Rieslings and Champagne alongside a good selection of California wines. Prices are very fair and there's plenty in the $20-30 range. Super nice owners as well. It's surprisingly hard to find good wine shops in the Napa Valley area, but this one is worth stopping by to browse and see what you might find. read more

Randy and Carrie are so great! I came here just randomly one day and they have made me and my wife feel very welcome! Both very down to earth folks. Great cigar selection! I usually have a nice Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and my wife has a nice glass of wine as we hang out outside with our pup. They do have an indoor lounge but we have not used it yet. This place is a treasure!!! The folks that run it, are two of the kindest, most honest, and straight forward people you could ever become acquainted with. I own a business myself, so I know genuine customer service when I feel it. Every time I visit, they treat me like a friend, and give me great cigar recommendations. I remember my first time coming here with my brother as I was barely started my cigar collection habit as soon as I walked in I was greeted by the old timer who looked like he woke up with a bad attitude or something I let it slide then my brother and I spotted the walk in humidor I'll be honest they have a good quality selection of cigars but then my brother noticed the old timer was staring at us even though we weren't the only customers as there were other people smoking in the lounge but again his focus and demeanor was directly at us then he comes in asking me a little quite rude if I was gonna purchase or not I got little pissed off that I told him yes I am and I don't appreciate it being rushed cause looking what I want to buy as I selected the cigars I wanted not sure why I should have just stopped when he came into the walk In humidor all rude but whatever I made my purchase as I was walking out all of a sudden with happy smile he dares to say have a good day I wanted to flip him off then I noticed in the lounge customers where I hate to say it white and pictures I've seen recently here on the yelp a few little gathering again all white I guess he gave me and brother an attitude cause we where Hispanics to him he probably thinks only white people buy cigars well old timer they can have your business cause you lost mine I now shop in the Sacramento region where there are plenty of minorities that's right old timer minorities black and brown that enjoy cigars as much as your Caucasian people do and I've recently recommended people not to shop at your store as I explained to them of what happen maybe i would like to give you guys another chance but only when that old timer retires. read more

I've been here several times over the years. Although primarily a Wine sales and tasting lounge, they also have a very well stocked and temp/humidity controlled humidor. The prices are reasonable and the selection is more than adequate. They have a room separate from the tasting room to smoke cigars, and you can smoke outside. The owners are very pleasant and helpful, and can guide you to a good cigar. read more

This place is the worst. I was just trying to get some cigars for my dad for Father's Day. As a single mother, I often have to take my two year old with me. They gave me shit because she was under twenty one. Oh I'm sorry, let me just tie my child up outside while I try to get my dad something nice for Father's Day. Smh. Some buddies and I along with our significant others spent the weekend in Napa and did some wine tasting. After that, the girls did their own thing and the guys were looking for a place to smoke cigars and possibly watch football. We looked up NVWC and saw it wasn't too far from where we stayed, so we decided to come here. It was a great idea to come here. When we entered, we were greeted by the boss, while his wife was working in the office behind the counter. He let us know to ask him if we had any questions and let us go into walk-in humidor uninterrupted. I really like when cigar shop owners let you browse their humidors without jumping the gun and going in with you to keep an eye on you, so it was nice that he let us just go in and take our time. They have a great selection of sticks in their walk in and they have their more premium sticks such as OpusX and Padron Family Reserves in a shelf humidor right outside the walk-in. They also carry a ton of cigar accessories, such as humidors, cutters, ashtrays, and even cigar box guitars. After I paid for my cigars, I asked if we were allowed to smoke in the lounge or if we had to be some kind of member to be able to smoke there and he said that anyone can smoke there as long as they buy cigars or wine from them. He had no problem with me bringing my own cigar to smoke. The lounge is rather small with only 4 leather chairs, 1 fold out chair, 1 TV on the wall, 2 ash trays, and shelves with cigar and wine magazines and books. It wasn't a problem for us though since there was just 3 of us and there was one other person in there already smoking and watching football. Ventilation was on the whole time and there were two separate fans running by door to blow the smoke away from the door. We were there for about an hour and half and the owner didn't bother us or anything, just let us enjoy our cigars. Definitely a worthwhile visit for a cigar smoker when visiting wine country. read more

On my recent visit to Napa, I was dying to find some Kosta Browne to take home to NJ. A quick google search and I found this place. Me: "Hello, do you have Kosta Browne in stock?" Man on phone (Randy, yelling to Carrie in the background): "Do we have Kosta Browne in stock?" Carrie, in background, yelling: "Which ones, we have lots!" Randy: "We have lots." Me: "I'll be right there!" And so it went. This husband/wife duo was a laugh riot from the moment I walked in. The store had more of a feel of someone's (cluttered) living room than it did a store, but make no mistake about it, they love their wine & cigars, and have the expertise (and inventory) to prove it! Carrie immediately took me into the back storeroom and began pulling Kosta Brownes off the shelf. I was salivating. After quoting me a fair price, we chatted for a bit and she went out of her way to make sure I knew how to reach her again, let me know that all I would have to do is give her a ring and she'd set aside bottles for me for whenever I was ready to buy them, etc. I was made to feel like I was an old friend, not just some random tourist off the street. I can't wait to make my first mail order from them. Highly recommended! read more

This shop is absolutely awesome. The shop owners are very very friendly and will not hesitate to try to get to know you to help give you a better experience. They have a nice cigar room/humidor with decently priced selections with some that i really wanted to try. The shop has a nice wine room and the owners Carrie and Randy are very helpful in working with your budget and your taste. The prices are similar to where you would find outside, possibly $2-$3 more but the help and suggestions that they provide definitely make up for it. They are the type of couple that will even convince you to buy a cheaper wine than what you wanted if they feel you would like it better. They are also very helpful in suggesting amazing winerys to visit, the shop is one of the very first stores on silverado trail and next to a tire store, the shop shouldn't be too hard to miss. read more

While it may go unnoticed as you start your adventure on to Silverado Trail, this is a spot not to be overlooked. The store front presence is in a business center but visible from the street. I think their primary business is internet based but if you're looking for a collection of various priced, good/great/extraordinary wines, stop in and say hello. The owner is usually there and is an excellent source of knowledge in helping you pick out the right wine to suit your occasion and price range. I am going to dinner with some advanced oenophiles this evening and, with her suggestion, purchased a few bottles of "Flux" by Mark Herold ($25). Great selection and an even better experience. Napa Valley Wine & Cigar has a large selection of Ashton, Padron (64, 26, Family Reserve, etc.), Arturo Fuente and many others. The full-line of the Fuente God of Fire cigars at a phenomenal price, especially with the +65% wholesale tax that we are subjected to in California. I was visiting Napa, from San Francisco, and my parents were in-town from out East. The woman providing service was fantastic. She was more than willing to help and provide any information needed. She also provided a great recommendation for the restaurant next door for dinner. Great overall experience. It's refreshing to have cigar shops that care about their customers and are looking to provide not only great cigars but a pleasant visit. If you've never visited Napa Valley Wine and Cigar, you must. It's a wonderful wine and cigar shop with an amazing selection. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00am until 8:00pm and often on Sundays, but call to make sure. They're even open many holidays to assist with your last-minute wine needs. The owners and hosts, Randy and Carrie Bowman, are long-time Napa residents who can enlighten and entertain you until all hours of the evening. I was lucky enough to have the pleasure of sharing wines and pizza with Randy and Carrie and I learned so much about both wine and Napa. We tasted Herb Lamb Two Old Dogs Sauvignon Blanc, Paul Hobbs Pinot Noir, and Westerhold Syrah, all stellar examples of their varietals. The good news is that you don't have to be in Napa to enjoy wines such as these, as the store ships to states that allow it. read more

Great selection, horrible service. I used to go to bakers all the time before they closed so I decided to give this place a try. The older gentleman was very rude. Especially if you look younger. If he was more friendly this could be a great store. On the plus side the older lady who works there was great and store selection was not bad either.
