This was my 4 1/2-year-old daughter's first time at a movie theater, and she is autistic, so having someone who was welcoming, patient, attentive, and helpful made a tremendous difference. Since neither my daughter nor I had been to this theater before, he took the time to guide us in the right direction, answer our questions, and make sure we felt comfortable navigating the theater. We came to see the Deadpool and Wolverine movie on a Friday. We caught a lucky break as it was not busy though it was around 3pm. This location is inside the mall and there is plenty of parking. Staff was very friendly. I ordered nachos and the cashier gave great customer service. He gave plenty of cheese for my nachos, which I never get at other theaters lol. We had one of the huge screens. The seats were very comfortable and the seat tables were clean. Not only could you recline the seats but you can adjust the head rest as well. The audio was perfect and the screen was vibrant without any issues. This place is well taken care of! If you are a student or here on Tuesdays, and want to catch a movie, I highly recommend Galaxy. The reclining seats are super comfortable and the quality of the film and sound is perfect. We enjoyed ourselves so much at the matinee, watching Gladiator II, that we returned for a second movie, The Red One after lunch. They have a great kids popcorn package that adults can purchase, leaving you satisfied with the quantity. We received a complementary Gladiator poster with each ticket. read more

The Galaxy Theaters Boulevard Mall is one of my go to movie theaters in Las Vegas. While the affinity perks are pathetic, the theater and it amenities make up for that deficiency. The screens are new to newish. The sound systems and other upper tier theater options are excellent to exceptional. The food is actually pretty good. The burgers and fries are filling but take 10 years to get ready. They should 10000 percent consider seat delivery. You will miss 1/4 of a movie ordering and waiting for a burger. But they are excellent and taste fresh cooked. There is beer on tap. The staff is usually great, the facility is spotless. There is ample parking and it is easy in and out. read more

Sweet! This was a random spurr of the moment date night with my hungry monster. We stopped at the boulevard mall just to see what was going on in the once lively mall in Vegas. What I did not know was, there's a theater here guys! It's been such a long time since we've been at the movies. Paul Walker was in the last movie we saw in theaters. Sheesh, old much? Theater was clean. I used the app to purchase our tickets. Made simple where you can choose you seats as well. The seats were comfortable. Automatic and reclinable. Cup holders in amrests. Give me a blanket and an alarm clock and we're good. With Dolby sound and picture, the experience is great. If your in the mood of seeing Thors pores in hd, or hear every single footstep and ambience noise that will have you looking around thinking its behind you, this is the way to go. Everything was great except that me and my boyfriend had to keep clutching our bags and walking out because we didn't feel safe. Why are we allowing people to come in the movie theater with school backpacks on? That is very unsafe! and they haven't checked bags or anything. I went to a viewing of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever here, and I loved the movie and the theatre experience. The seats were comfortable, the movie theatre and restrooms clean, and the popcorn was not bad. The theatre's location is not close to where I live, and the mall seems like it's on life support. However, I would see a movie here again. The walk to the theatre from the parking lot is lengthy so manage your time well to catch the film on time. read more

Let's start off by saying. This is the cleanest well maintained theatre in all of Las Vegas. And I'll even add, the cleanest theatre I've ever been to in all of Northern California. This was our first time here and I was shocked by how nice the staff is, how much nacho cheese they give you, and how decent the food is. To the management staff, keep it up. This is my official go-to theatre here in Vegas. I didn't have time to add these comments on the original review. But wanted to add, I'm boojee. I like nice things. I like clean places. And this place is so unassuming because honestly, let's be real, its in a not-so-great part of Vegas. Most folks will travel to the strip, Henderson, or Summerlin even expecting a nice clean theatre. But these theatre is top notch. And probably because its expensive and nobody thinks to go here. We mostly go to the movies during the day so it's never crowded. In fact there's usually only a handful of people there. Galaxy There is nothing quiet like watching a movie in a movie theatre. The overall experience was elevated when we visited Galaxy. Ticket prices were reasonable and there is a discount for casino employees. There is a wide selection of menu options for all appetites. When we went it wasn't particularly busy (Monday at 6PM). But the service we received was outstanding. Our cashier was extremely friend and made the wait for our hot food pleasant. She even went in the back to help. The overall theatre is clean and seats are recliners so naturally they were spacious and comfortable. Will be coming back again in the very near future! read more

I haven't been to any of the Galaxy Theaters in town until this one recently opened at the Boulevard Mall. Ticket prices are reasonable for a luxury theater at $10.25 matinee and $12.75 evening for adults. Pick seats upon ticket purchase, food and drink menu (including alcohol) available at on-site bar and in auditoriums. Location was clean, sound and video were fine for my movie. Auditoriums are fairly intimate, with reclining seats and attached table trays. Briefly interacted with management to refund tickets when my date and I both accidentally purchased, transaction was quick and Michael followed up with us after the movie as well, which was a nice touch. TIP: Go on Tuesdays for $6.50 movies. Park around back of mall to directly access theater. Reward program available. read more

The Boulevard Mall have definitely felt the brunt of consumer shopping preferences favoring discount online browsing and purchasing over traditional brick and mortar retailers. Before coming here to this mall, specifically to explore where exactly this new Galaxy Boulevard Theatre is located inside the Boulevard Mall, It has been at years since my last visit (to Sears and Old Navy, and I am not even sure if they are still open here). So with Galaxy Theaters chain picking this blighted mall that have seen way better days, and able to negotiate a super low long term commercial rent contract to develop and roll out the world's first Sony Digital Cinema movie auditorium, (as part of their corporate strategy of a nationwide rollout of Sony Digital Cinema experiences at their existing theaters), movie lovers will have even more luxury movie viewing options in the months ahead. Other business tenants are definitely loving this new anchor tenant and the increase foot traffic that it will draw to this mall. As of now, during their soft opening phase, you can go watch movies in their regular auditoriums, but movie selections are extremely limited. As in literally only one movie and one show time is all the choice you have (Example: on 4-3-2019 only Captain Marvel is playing at 8pm). Their concessions area looks amazing, and work crews are still putting in some finishing touches before the official grand opening this Friday, April 5, 2019. Besides the typical overprice candies, popcorns, sodas that are ubiquitous at all theaters, they also offer appetizers and light entrees prepared in this kitchen. If you are interested in being one of the first in the world to experience the new "Sony Digital Experience" at Las Vegas largest movie auditorium featuring dual-laser projection system and premium sound system that you can feel in your bones while seated in those comfy reclining seats, tickets can already be purchased via movie ticket apps, Galaxy Theatre's app or at their box office. Where to park? Parking in the back of the mall or near Good Will Store and SeaQuest will be the best options for avoiding having to walk half a mile round trip just to watch a movie. The staff are brand new and still learning, but are friendly and the young man I purchased my Shazam! ticket from, went above and beyond, since that was probably his first time selling a ticket for a movie screening that is still a few days out. At first he gave me just the sales receipt and said that the ticket taker/usher can look up my ticket info on the day of, but ran to give me a print out of the ticket with my reserved seat info after I had already walked away. I am just glad that AMC Town Square's Dolby theater auditorium will finally have a real solid competition starting this Friday. read more

I feel like this movie theater is super underrated and deserves more recognition! Each time I visit I am never disappointed. The popcorn is always good, and salty. The cocktails are always mixed to perfection. The staff is always extremely friendly. The seats are very comfortable. And, the best thing is, they're almost never extremely crowded nor busy! This is my go-to Galaxy Theater as it's great in proximity to UNLV, and the local shops surrounding it. I saw Avatar: The Way of Water here with my partner, and the sound was awesome!! Our chairs vibrated with the movie's sounds, and I nearly fell asleep during the 3 hour showing because their seats are so comfy. I also tried their funnel fries for the first time, and they're so tasty. If I didn't have any sense, I would almost come back just to enjoy a to-go order of them for home. Thanks Galaxy! read more

Mixed feelings about this particular theater because if you ignore the kids behind the counter, everything else is great. The guy said I couldn't get the candies that obviously come with the combo and even when I pointed to his screen clearly stating there's 2 drinks, a popcorn and a snack of choice, he just laughed and said it was there "just cuz" and walked off. My boyfriend and I met working at a movie theater, and we love trying new ones when we travel. This Galaxy Theater is the best we've ever been to. The ticket kiosks were quick and easy to use, and we were thrilled to take advantage of Discount Tuesday. Bonnie at the concessions stand gave us amazing customer service. The popcorn was delicious, and we loved the domed lid, which prevented spills, kept the popcorn warm, and doubled as an extra bowl. The theater was clean, and the seats were very comfortable, reclining all the way back. We're bummed we're not locals, but we'll definitely be back on our next trip to Vegas. read more

I paid for Dbox and showed her the receipt it was done online but something went wrong I was having issues online and when I finally got my tickets it gave me the wrong date I purchased them on 8/1 for the 8/2 and it gave me 8/1 tickets for dbox is expensive I explained to her what happened and she didn't want to help she said she would give us standard that's all she could do and not only that in Spanish the kids don't speak Spanish my daughter had to pay again to see the movie so st the the end of it all we paid twice and we were late to the movie it had started all ready it was a nightmare I was so upset I cried couldn't help it! read more

So lets start off with their app.. They charge you a service charge for using their own app? Like seriously??? I didn't use a 3rd party app. I used their app to avoid a service charge for the tickets but nope they charge. So next thing: I got food from there. They put the mustard on the hotdog for you. I didn't like that. They put way too much mustard on my hotdog. They didn't even have hotdog buns. They use hoagies bread rolls for the hotdogs which is too big. They didn't even have a area to get salt and extra butter for popcorn. So I didn't get popcorn. I didn't want them over salting my popcorn by them doing it there self. 3rd: The theatre is tiny. 4th and last: I went to watch the Haunted Mansion and when I walked inside there was popcorn spilled everywhere. They don't clean before the movie starts. I get they don't get business there really but keep it clean so people can recommend it to other people. I am never going back there again read more

After 5 years of coming to this theater every other week. FYI they close kitchen so if you see a movie at 10pm you can't order anything because they close apparently. Never had an issue in the years of us coming until tonight. This will be the last time we come and for our 7 million fans will be directing them to go to another movie theater now. Really sad.... I'd been wanting to visit the Sony Digital Cinema for over a year since it had first been announced, so I was thrilled to finally get my chance after CES ended. Luckily it was the final week of Star Wars: Ep IX which I had really wanted to see (again) in a marquee theater, and this didn't disappoint! The theater's sound is fantastic with 40+ speakers, and the screen is ginormous. My only nit is with the walkway lighting between the front rows and left/right of the screen which washes out a bit of the ultimate contrast the Sony projectors are capable of. Would love to see a movie with ALL the lights off to see what this thing could really do! The staff was incredibly helpful and clearly felt pride in the theater, especially the asst. GM Mike and the head projectionist Paul. Also, by far the cleanest bathrooms I visited during my entire week in Vegas! Finding it is a bit odd, as there isn't a lot of clear signage, and it looks like entering from the back of the mall is the best. I will definitely return! I bought many tickets at the Boulevard Mall Galaxy Theater box office to the film TOP GUN. As most of my friends are seniors, I purchased several senior tickets and was later told very directly that I cannot buy any more of these because I can't prove they are really for seniors. I told that to a friend so he went online and got them without any questions or proof whatsoever (except a $2 online fee). Since then, the daytime box office staff would only allow me to purchase general admission tickets. When I next bought tickets, the cashier wanted to know, why am I purchasing so many tickets? This is the wrong flow from company to customer. Appreciation for your business is the name of the game. Later, I went to the box office during evening hours I asked if I could purchase senior tickets and they simply sold them to me. I had read about the Sony Digital Cinema (SDC) and I thought it also talked about Dolby Atmos. As it turns out Dolby Atmos is a completely different theater experience and not part of SDC. So there was a bit of confusion there. The theater experience was good. The seats were very comfortable, but the controls were a bit confusing and at least one was not working. RECOMMENDATION: put seat numbers in glow-in-the-dark numerals on the upholstered seat back so they are also illuminated by the light from the screen. People are looking for their seat, not tray table. The rows where people walk are dark and a lighted tape on the carpet would help guide guests, so they don't trip. TOP GUN was A-MAZING! We just love this theater. Its Clean, brand new, Covid compliant, great theater options and food and drink options. We recently had a special event there. I would highly recommend this location for corporate or business presentations. Katie Josselyn is the Manager and she was unbelievable in helping us have the ideal presentation.
