Here on a Thursday afternoon to watch Michael (Jackson). This movie theater is located at the Tulare Outlet Mall so there is plenty of free parking. You have the option to purchase tickets via the app and reserve your seat or purchase at the window. We ordered a big bucket of popcorn (free refills), humongous soft drink (lol), hot dog with many topping options and a bag of movie theater M&M's, which cost about $35 The movie theater overall (including restrooms) were pretty clean. Our chairs reclined and had a small swivel type table. Our hot dog was hand delivered to our seats and prepared as ordered. Since we watched the matinee price was $12 Staff were very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely come back here. read more

Watched Moana with the grandkids and the theater was clean and love the pop corn with extra butter was on point.

Still has the best seats and customer service!!! Wish all the toilets would automatically flush, but that's ok, just used my foot!! I do like the 8 dollar combo and day of the week, but better when you are on a budget, on a Tuesday with rewards!!! LMAO! I did come on a Friday, paid about 45 bucks, for 2, and had the combo number one for 22..so just come on Tuesday if you don't mind spending that money! read more

I usually don't have any issues coming here, my family and I love it. Today we ordered food and they told us they would bring it well 30 mins went by and no food. I went out to find out it was just sitting on the side. I didn't mind that but it was the attitude of "jazzy" "jaz" or whatever. When I got my food I over heard her talking about "retarded people" under her breath I asked her who she was talking about. "Oh not you" maybe have that conversation when you're not around customers then. She really seemed like she did not want to be there. Should have know than to watch Wonka on the last showing on a Friday night. When I ordered my seat, no one was next to me. Well as the night when on they sold tickets. I'm ok with peeps sitting next to me, what I'm not OK with are 3 Gen Zs or are they Alpha? Dude, you're not on your couch at home. OMG so I sighed out loud & then I heard 'Shut the Fuck Up Bitch.' That's it, I grabbed my personal belongings, left & went down to get my refund. She got the manager & asked if I wanted to talk to the manager. No, I just want my refund so I can watch it at another time without all these babies attached to their cellphones like it's a 'Thet-tha'. They apologized & I appreciated it, but not your fault. I am not a fan of galaxy. I messed up on the dates of my movie and I take accountability for that. But what I do not understand is how I was able to scan my ticket and a ticket printed out which they handed to me. Does that mean I can just show any old ticket and get into the theater? They hire these younger individuals who don't even check the dates or have a system that alerts when it is wrong. This place is dirty as well. Disappointing. And there's only one person in the booth so it takes 25 minutes to talk to someone. read more

I CANNOT believe I just heard the most horrible word come out of a employee here! I went around 7pm to the movies and decided to go buy some snacks when I heard a short curly headed employee call another employee (of African American descent) the N-word! I was appalled as to how such a horrible word could be said by an employee to another, this is blatant racism! I tried to talk to this sweet worker (didn't catch her name but I'm sure it started with a G) about the situation. I'm still not sure if that situation handled. I wasn't able to enjoy my movie after the situation! Galaxy do better about choosing the right people to represent your establishment, because this is just horrible. read more

The movie experience all starts with that friendly face that you see in the beginning, this time there was no friendly face. I saw the face of Marcus..... he was super rude, giving us our concessions. He just assumed we wanted butter and gave us attitude when we said we didn't want butter. He threw a fit, throwing not one, but two bins to the floor. Like all we wanted was to see and movie and have some popcorn. Marcus ruined our movie experience. read more

This theater is great for all. Its clean and comfortable. Their's plenty of staff running the concession to get you into your movie on time. They also will bring to your chair any order that needs time to cook. Ive been here a couole times a year and cant say ive ever encountered any bad experience. read more

My friend and I went to see Avatar the Way of Water here last weekend, and although we loved the movie, we were disappointed with the theater experience as a whole. Their website is very difficult to navigate and it's confusing to figure out what theater is what. I had heard that they had "luxury" seating, but they were just recliners. The Tachi Palace Entertainment Center has REAL luxury seats - they are practically double the width of these at Galaxy. I guess there should be a definable term for "luxury" be talking about movie seats. Also, we were charged $17.50 to see that movie, probably because of those seats, as well as it being in 3-D. I know prices are higher with everything right now but when a small popcorn is $9, that's just ridiculous. To be fair, my friend and I and one other couple were the only people in the entire theater for that showing at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, so they aren't making much money, and I guess I should be grateful that they're open at all. I really did want to see this movie on a large screen. read more

We come to the movies every week or once every two weeks so if you come often sign up for the movie rewards. The seats recline back and are very comfortable prices are usually reasonable depending on the time you pick during the week are usually cheaper than the weekend. The movie theater here in Tulare Ca 93274 are clean and sanitary. Snacks we always get a combo number 1 big popcorn and soda or water. read more

I'm going to be real about my experience last night. No filter, just an honest review about one of my once loved theatre's. It definitely NEEDS a REFURBISHMENT! I get that with everything going on these last few years, times are tough for a lot of businesses in the Central Valley. Not easy to just completely refurbish a movie theatre. But when you're charging me $61 for 4 seats and each seat looks like it's been torn up by your pet, your screen has a giant stain in the middle of it, and the noise from the room next door is louder than the movie I paid to see! Not Cool. I was wanting to get a private screening for The Batman, but my worry is that we're given a room like that. I had a problem paying $61 for seats, but the movie I watched made up for it! I don't know if a movie can make up for paying $200 to be given a room in that condition. Overall i can't knock this place entirely. Watching Spider-Man No Way Home on the big screen with only one other couple in our screening room. At 9:30pm on a mon night; Terrific! ICEE was delicious! It was nice to recline but.. gotta get those seats more comfortable also! Butt starts to hurt sitting like that after 2 hours; Spider-Man was almost 3 hours long. Coming out to an empty theatre and parking lot was fantastic! So what's my verdict? We will always come back to Galaxy in Tulare. It's the only movie theatre to go! All the other ones down here don't give you big reclining seats and Dolby Atmos! Come here for all your Movie watching needs! read more

Wonderful Luxury seating! Cannot give higher because the popcorn at Galaxy is awful. The taste is horrible and crew is always burning the popcorn. Popcorn is small and broken. Behind the counter and on counter is popcorn galore. A total mess which doesn't add to the appeal. Take a lesson from Regal. Popcorn is big and fluffy and wonderful taste. I was very impressed with the theater. It's well maintained in practically every way (as far as an outsider like me knows of course). The only negative thing would be the neighborhood. Just be aware of everything around you. Seriously. Especially at night. The parking structure is just across the street and relatively well lit. Just watch your back. The venues are pretty cool, we went and saw the Blue Man Group. Despite it being a smaller show they still put on a fun performance. Was kinda let down a bit but I was just going off from what I've seen in videos and the shows I've seen there are from Vegas so my expectations were a bit too high. Had fun nonetheless. read more

Yesterday I went to buy movie tickets to see Ordinary Angels 12:30 showing for today . I was informed that they ( movie theater) would not be selling tickets for that movie until the actual first day . So today my sister and I went to the box office to buy our tickets and the young man informed us they would not be selling movie tickets until 1:00 pm . I informed him we were here for 12:30 showing . He informed us he would call the manager. The manager came out and said they had a private event and we could not buy tickets until after 1;00 pm . I asked her why they could not inform me of this when I tried buying tickets yesterday . She informed me she did, BUT in actually, she was behind glass windows telling the box office clerk something, not me, and like I said, it was behind glass windows, which was hard for me to hear . But all the clerk said to me was I could buy tickets tomorrow. We were not the only people who were turned away today . Tulare theater is not the same .I am very disappointed in the response we received today, and this was not the first time this theater has disappointed us . I will be traveling to Visalia to see movies from now on . read more

They use to be good and worthy being referred to as a "luxury" experience. After COVID, they've dropped the ball on so many angles. Customer service has gone down hill, they charged me full price on discount Tuesday and they didn't bring my food to my seat in 2 different occasions. Furthermore, the bathroom are now dirty and sometimes our assigned seats aren't clean. I understand that we are recovering from a COVID economy and the theater industry was hit hard. I work at a hospital and no one knows this better than I. However, when I tactically complained about my experience, they brushed my concerns as asinine and disruptive. My experience warrants a negative 100 stars experience. read more
