Trying to watch a movie that was supposed to start at 12pm. Got up to ask at 12:10pm since the screen is blank and no previews are showing. There was one person working concessions and no one else working. She said she'd call someone. It's 12:25pm at the time of this review. Had a great time here with a friend the other night watching Ordinary angels! What a great movie. This is a very small theater, with restrooms only in the front lobby. They do have a decent refreshment bar with just about anything you would want. They do however seem a bit short staffed, but with the crazy wages in California, what else would you expect (politicians have lost their minds thinking they can expect employers to pay ridiculous wages and remain open. We come here twice a week. And the employees are very nice. The theater is always clean fresh hot popcorn, and all you can drink soda pop.

A unique experience ?? haha My experience at Regal Visalia was by in no means terrible, but it was not good either. It was ... just okay. Visiting Regal Visalia is like getting hit with a blast of the past. It reminds me of the type of theatre I used to go to as a kid. It was small, the rows were tight, the chair wasn't too comfortable, the screen was small, nobody checks your bag when you enter, and the floors are sticky. This theatre is best described as vintage. The theatre will do if you are not very picky and just want to watch a movie. But after knowing the privileges of a theatre with lots of space and where the seats recline, visiting Regal Visalia definitely leaves something to be desired. This is one of many problematic experiences that I've had at this location. The worker Kaitlyn is very rude and inexperienced at her job. Samantha is extremely rude and was not willing to make the situation right. I understand certain policies regarding rated R movies but when I am the one purchasing my 17 year olds ticket the play of "policy" of me having to sit through the entire movie with her makes no sense. Came here for a 6:35 showing, but apparently the power went out who knows when before I got there and they had to reboot things. They told me this when they said they didn't need to scan my ticket, and that the movie would be up in a few minutes. After sitting in the auditorium for over an hour with 0 communication, we were told there would be no movie. The only compensation was tickets for another time, which is useless to me as a pass holder. I'm angry about driving 20 mins and wasting me gas and over an hour of my time for nothing. My friend and I came in on a Friday afternoon. We waited in line for 5 minutes with no other customers in line, 5 people were working behind the concession counter. NONE were working but one attendant and once I asked for a discount the manager stated that everyone was working and that a discount would not be provided. The manager crystal was absolutely unprofessional and rude. My friends and I went to regal cinemas to watch black phone two and right off the bat we were treated terribly. The woman who we went to to buy our tickets asked for a form of identification and my friend and I showed ours to her and my other friend only had a picture of her ID and when she showed it to her, the lady said that it didnt look like her and she needed a different form of identification. She also said we were not able to buy the ticket for our friend. I then requested to speak to the manager, where i was completely disrespected and when I was trying to explain the situation she continuously talked over me, and told me I didn't need to explain because she knew what happened(even though she was not present). She completely ignored my feelings and did nothing to resolve the situation except speak to me like I was a child and below her. She made me feel uncomfortable so I recorded a lot of the situation, and she then told me I was not allowed to record her. I then reminded her of my rights and she laughed in my face(i have this on video as well). It was extremely disrespectful and inappropriate and she refused to have a mature conversation. All of the workers were laughing at us and whispering. It was really sad to see this. I don't recommend anybody coming to this place until management is fixed. Again, Crystal if you are seeing this personally, i would like you to know a ton of teenage girls went home feeling bad about themselves because of YOUR treatment. Good news is there is a movie theater in Visalia. Seats were small and uncomfortable. But they had really good stuff at the snack bar. Cheeto flavored popcorn. Nachos with jalapeños. 10 movies at a time. This place is super dated, but Wei had a good time. read more

Been going here since I was little and I have to say this place has been going downhill ever since 2020. A few times I've been here and the floors in the movies are STICKY. I've found trash in the fold of the seats and popcorn on the ground. On a busy day the theaters are so packed and expect to move ur feet or get up to let people get through the isles. The food is very expensive... Last time, I got a Nachos with cheese (no cheese was put on top or I wasn't asked) and a medium soda. It came out to $22! Not to mention jelepneos on the side are $1.50 and they're not even fresh they're in a bag with just alittle bit in there ! I been to Tulare Galaxy theaters and they hook u up with cheese on top of ur nachos and extra cheese in the holder with FRESH Jelepenos that don't feel rationed for about the same price. The tickets at Regal might be alittle cheaper than Galaxy but don't waste ur money here if u want great service and awesome atmosphere spend the extra few bucks at a better movie theater. I recommend Galaxy. Forget the other movie theaters here in Visalia make the drive to Tulare. read more

I took my son here for his first ever movie theatre experience. He enjoyed himself. And generally speaking the theatre was clean, the seats comfortable, and the the picture & sound perfect. However, I am knocking points for the lack of staff. Not because it slowed us down (though it did), but because I feel bad that with the box office closed, it was up to just one woman behind concessions to sell & tear ticket and sell food/drinks. The whole time I was in line, I didn't see a single other employee in the building. Maybe they were cleaning theatres or in the projection booth. But still. That wasn't fair to the poor woman. I had pre bought my ticket, but had I not even asked if she needed to see my phone for it, she never would've asked. Probably due to her just trying to get through the line of customers. She really should have had some backup. At least have someone just handling tickets or being a runner for her to help move people along. I hope what I experienced wasn't a common occurrence there. If it is, the employees deserve a raise for all the hats they need to wear. read more

Dont show up late to the last screening of the night. They lock the doors and ignore you for 5 minutes as you knock, and then when you keep knocking they tell you they are closed. I was able to purchase tickets today for the Forever Purge via online and choose my seats on there. It made it convenient. I recommend making online purchase a couple of days before because if you wait till the day of then it's possible it will be sold out. The movie started at 7:40pm and we arrived at 7:35pm and there was a line for concessions but the staff still were fast. We ordered a hotdog, small popcorn, Aquafina water bottle, small Pepsi slurpee for $30. It's definitely pricey. The restrooms were clean and I had nothing negative about the showing. Clean facilities. However, it's pricey for an older building. It's one thing to pay $12.50 to see the Little Mermaid @ Maya theatre where they have immersive seats, tables and cup holders as well as reclining seats- But, Regal is an old building. You have to get a clerk to refill your soda and there are only six/eight options of soda. Pepsi, Fanta, Diet Pepsi, Sierra Mist and a fruit punch I think. It's an old building with an older theatre set up. For the same price as the Maya in Delano, might as well go for a more luxurious movie experience. The theatre is old, so the seats are close together and hardly any room in the aisles to walk in front of a stranger to get to the bathroom during a showing. As long as you're not looking for new amenities, auto toilet/ auto hand soap/ auto water dispenser/ auto hand dryer, you won't be disappointed. But, don't expect there to be a comfy chair or table to help you hold your grub. This theatre gets the job done, but it's nothing fancy. Just went to Regal Visalia 10 theater on Bridge Street. I have a Regal rewards card that I have had for many years and used it in 10 different states. Today I earned a free DRINK with my rewards and I always get an Icee as my drink, well this petty cheap theater charged me fifty cents extra for getting an Icee as my drink, nowhere else have I ever been charged for a FREE drink, the manager said Its in the fine print. Well the other states I used my card at and got a free drink NEVER charged me for an Icee. It's says free drink of your choice well that was my choice. I really enjoy this theatre. My family and I go regularly and my teens go sometimes with their friends. The staff sometimes doesn't seem to want to be there (then again they are generally teenagers so I'm guessing they probably don't). However, the lobby and stadiums are also clean when I have gone, the bathrooms could be cleaned up more often but they aren't as bad as some places, and it is a little weird that there is no one checking your tickets anymore. Gives the feel that anyone can walk in at anytime. Overall though, the popcorn is usually fresh, hot and delicious. They were out of main popular sodas this last time, but it was still an enjoyable time. read more

When I moved to the area I was disappointed that there were no AMC Theatres, but then I found the Regal Cinemas. This place is GREAT! The theatres are a bit small based on what I am used to, but they are clean and well maintained. I recommend joining their rewards program for specials, free tix etc. You even get reward points at the concession stand! Liek AMC you can use your Credit/Debit cards at the concession stand as well. Went in the late afternoon and on a weekday. Overall its a nice theater. Clean auditoriums, clean bathrooms. People there were pleasant and attentive. I brought my coat thinking it would be cold but it was actually a perfect temp inside, not too cold and not too hot. The only reason I give it four stars is because of the floor lights. While watching the movie I was distracted and annoyed that the light reflects from the floor and was very bright. I'm sure it's required by law to have the lights for the steps but they should use dimmer lights. read more
