We chatted about all kinds of things, and she hunted for 15 minutes to find a companion bunny for the one we bought (Easter, not Christmas! LOL). She even called to the owner to see if an extra one might be stashed somewhere that she didn't know about! She kindly wrapped several items we were carrying (not from the store) so it would be easier for us to carry. What a fun 30 minutes! We'll definitely follow-up with the store to get a 2nd bunny! I will tell you no one had the selection and the service that Sissel offered. She was so kind and helped me find the exact pair of earrings I'd been wanting - something silver and a little more modern but still using the beautiful native turquoise. You might be surprised to meet a Norwegian-run business like this in NM, but after all her years in the States and running this business, she's a pro and unbelievably kind and helpful. I wore the dress once and the elastic waist broke so the next time I was up I asked the owner about a repair. She told me to bring the dress back and she would have it repaired for me. I was back in Santa Fe last weekend and spoke to another store employee who told me I could exchange it dress, but she was very disinterested in helping me find the same dress. When I found one similar she said it has to be the exact same dress, which they no longer carry. She then said (after I told her what the owner promise) that there was no way to repair the dress but she might be able to send it to a seamstress for $30?? But couldn't guarantee she would not misplace my dress. I could not believe how rude and unhelpful she was! I have a $150 worthless piece of linen I need to pay to have repaired myself. It's not usable or wearable because of the style and the fact that elastic around the waist is part of the dress. I will not shop there again and I will be calling the owner.

They have SO MANY cute things. The ones that really stick in my mind are the adorable, cute, funny handbags and purses! There was one once that was shaped like a hedgehog, with studs to be the spikes. One made to look like a large order of fries...coke cans....and that hot air balloon bag!! I wish I was a liiiiittle younger so I could pull off carrying that around! Anyway, if you find yourself in Santa Fe, I would certainly recommend that you give Dancing Sun a visit.
