I had been calling various plumbers to fix a toilet leak, and most of them made the situation feel more complicated than it needed to be. When I called Salish, the owner, Dustin, calmly helped me identify the likely issue over the phone, and we were able to schedule an appointment for the next day very easily. Had an issue with Garbage Disposal, and went to Google to find a plumber. Liked that company was veteran owned, so decided to give Salish Plumbing a shot. Communication was great, they texted me when technician was going to be a little late (due to length of stay at previous job) so was totally fine with that. Patrick (technician) was outstanding. We had Salish Plumbing replace our kitchen sink basket strainer to fix a leak under the sink and they were awesome to work with. They were one of the quickest to respond and was even able to diagnose our issue by looking at the low-quality photos I posted on Yelp. Ellie, their office person, was responsive and very friendly in coordinating things. Garrett came out a few days later and efficiently did the job even though our power was out due to the huge windstorm. He was on time and professionally explained what he was doing. Fast forward a few weeks and the same location started leaking again. They were able to send Garrett back out for a free follow-up visit to tighten some connections and we haven't had any issues since. We need a lot of work to fix up our new place. We've had a couple other plumbers come out, who either quoted ridiculous prices, or who I had to chase to get the quote. Some folks never returned my call. One who seemed ok had good office communication support, but I wasn't communicating directly with the plumber to be able to ask in-depth questions. When I called Salish, Dustin answered the phone and scheduled a site visit promptly. We had 3 different guys out to do the estimation and the work. All 3 were super nice, punctual, very polite, listened, and had good suggestions. It's easy to ask substantive questions and get a quick reply, the quotes were broken out clearly and just as I had asked, prices seemed competitive, and we are now safer for having had the work done. Was very professional, capable and did a great job replacing my 2 inlet valves for my washing machine with new valves and a rough-in.
