Scammy, slimy sales tactics full of false allegations and aggressive behavior. The dentist had me in tears as I wanted a simple cleaning and said he could only do a $600 treatment plan. He told me I had no cavities but proceeded to diagnose me with periodontal disease which at the end of the visit said he could UNDIAGNOSE me for a lesser treatment plan which was still unrelated to what I was there for. The dentist diagnoses this from X-rays alone without even inspecting my teeth. He had treatment plans ready to sell before even viewing my teeth himself. He decided to use google AI as proof that I needed this and when I kept politely declining the service to only have a teeth cleaning he starting using aggressive tone and language and was beyond rude. Needless to say, he had me in tears because I wouldn't pay for his incorrect diagnosis. This facility needs to be reviewed by the board of dentistry for malepractice and harassment. Finally, they had all client information for upcoming appointments with date of births and other confidential information on the screen while I waited. read more

My long time dentist quit taking my insurance and Gallatin Smiles was on their list. I dreaded going to a corporate owned dental clinic because of all the horror stories I've heard of them trying to stonewall people into spending money to fix things that don't even need done. Because of my insurance I had no choice though. They were the closest around. Went to get my 6 month check up, X-rays and cleaning. I have always taken very good care of my teeth and I've gone to a dentist throughout my life twice a year to get my teeth cleaned. Everything that I've read about that are red flags to run from at a dentist he was trying to pull on me. Never have I ever felt like I was being attacked by a "used car salesman" in my life at a dentist office until this place. Berating me for disagreeing with him. Refusing to clean my teeth without doing a deep gum cleaning. The dentist telling me that I'm so far down the list of gum disease that he made it sound like I could die any day now when I didn't have a single problem that was on the list of signs that you have gum disease. Telling me I had to get things done ASAP. The girl trying to force me to sign the paper to spend a bunch of unnecessary money was rolling her eyes at me. Just the most unprofessional dentist I have ever witnessed in my life. Do yourself a favor. If you can find a good private dentist practice that you like avoid these money swindlers at all cost. I'm changing my insurance so I will never have to deal with this again. Oh, and the $59 that they advertise for cleaning, x-ray and exam...the bill to my insurance company was well over $1000 for just x-rays. They never cleaned my teeth. read more

I felt like I went to a car dealership verses a dental office. I went in for a routine cleaning and was refused a general cleaning unless I paid more for the deep, gingivitis cleaning. I told them I was not interested and would just like a routine cleaning. They refused. The dentist then came in, with very poor bedside manner. Explained the treatment he recommended to me and I politely declined. You could tell he was not happy with this and became more short with me. I told him I would like to get a second opinion from another office. I left without a cleaning and would not recommend this place to anybody. read more

Scheduled an appointment for oral surgery for 2:30. I arrived on time but was told they were running an hour behind. I asked to cancel the appointment, because the person driving me didn't have an extra hour, and was told they are keeping my deposit if i cancel! I had an appointment set up for a checkup on a really badly damaged tooth they where able to get a full extraction done and set me up for a bridge all in the same day I was lucky enough to be there the same day the oral surgeon was in and they got me in and out sooner then expected I had a couple concerns a week later so I ended up going to the office where they made me a huge priority putting me in as a emergency client and helping me with everything extra nice stat in the back and will definitely keep coming back here Ps. I showed some friends that I know that are dentists in another state the X-ray taken after the crown was put back in to assess why it fell out; my friends were stunned by how horrible it looked. Do not use Dr. Ian Stewart or this team. We wanted to move our whole family over to a new dentist which would mean 4 people. We only needed routine cleanings. My husband had an appt yesterday with Ian Stewart. No one would wait on him in the lobby, he was there an hour and a half, they would not do his cleaning until he talked to them about a "payment plan" even though our insurance covers routine cleaning, they presented him with a $12,000 list of things he needed, they were rude the whole time, and he left with no cleaning. I just called them this morning to cancel my appt with them and tried to tell the receptionist I would not be rescheduling because they treated my husband poorly and she yelled at me and hung up the phone before I could get my sentence out. Sadly, my daughter had a good experience with Dr. Cosby's team so I don't know if it is the different dentists or it depends on who you get stuck with, but I would not recommend going here. read more

If it were possible to give 0 Stars I would definitely give zero. The dentist in this office is horrible. My daughter went in with an abscess. He said there was no abscess and this was normal healing from wisdom tooth extraction that was done almost one month ago. The previous dentist did a root canal and crown ...work was also hideous. The crown fell off within a few days we had it cemented back on and it came off again. We were in the office for 7 hours having the crown placed originally. My suggestion is never go here and find somewhere else at all cost. The picture below is the abscess. Also you can see where the crown is missing on the very back tooth. They are now telling us they are not sure if they will be able to redo it or not. I obviously have already paid $1,500 for that crown that is no longer there and may or may not be able to be replaced. Again I say, you do not go here. read more

Very negative experience. I asked questions about my fee and the office manager became flustered and was extremely rude to me for having the audacity to ask what the price of a cleaning would be. I then asked to at least have a price range which caused the office manager to become more rude. I was charged over double the amount that my husband has been charged and that didn't even include a cleaning, only x-rays. Additionally, I made an appointment only to find out that the appointment was never actually made by office staff. Only explanation I received for this from the office manager was well she's not here so I can't ask her. I've never been treated so poorly as I was by this office manager. So, no cleaning and I was reprimanded for several long minutes. Also, the sign on the window and ad on the website states cleaning, x-ray, and exam is $59. The office was great - the Doctor greeted me in the lobby and really took the time to listen to my concerns. The entire staff made me feel at ease throughout my visit. The doctor explained all the treatment that I needed and carefully listened to my questions and we came to a treatment plan together. The office manager showed me all the costs and explained the different payment options that they have. At first this Dental Office seemed normal. However as my visit progressed, they seemed more interested in my insurance than my Dental Health. My goal that day was for a cleaning and a basic checkup. I mentioned a tooth ache and they insisted they needed bightwing xrays, and then inspected my mouth for reseeding gum lines. I asked for a cleaning and for an inspection of the tooth ache. However they keep delaying cleaning my teeth and brought in a financial advisor to attempt to get my approval for a series of treatments to extract my tooth, create an abutment, and eventually an implant. The cost would be upwards towards $10,000.00. I was definitely not ready to commit to their contract because this seemed to be excessive for one tooth. When I declined to agree to their proposed treatment schedule I was quickly dismissed from their concerns about my check up. I asked if they would complete my original request for a cleaning and they refused. I was told I would have to come back for another visit. This was clearly being blown off. I will never return to this "Used Car" like dealership, or recommend it to anyone. No Stars deserved. I had to select one to publish this warning! PS. Very bad experience here! My insurance allowed for a free cleaning & X-rays. I quickly learned that things weren't as they seemed. The dentist insisted that I needed a full deep cleaning that they were willing to provide for a discounted price of $1,009, (regular price is $1,916)! If I didn't agree to that, I could not simply get the free cleaning that my insurance offered. I spent two hours there and I received absolutely nothing except a set of x-rays. I was denied my free cleaning. I have always had regular yearly dental checkups and cleanings. I have never been told that I have gum problems or told that I needed a deep cleaning, until today. Completely shady dentist, the day of my procedure they jacked up the quoted price by double. I had to tell them 5 or 6 times in one visit that I didn't want to be put asleep. Aspen dental is a more reputable place than Gallatin smiles and thats saying something. read more
