My experience has been a nightmare of poor communication, lack of transparency, and unprofessionalism. 1. Conflicting Information & Billing Errors I received a statement for a balance I wasn't expecting. When I first called, the office admitted it was an "error" and told me to ignore it. Two weeks later, I received the exact same bill. This shows a complete lack of internal coordination. 2. Extremely Rude Front Desk I called again on 01/07/2026 at 3:30 PM to resolve the recurring issue. The staff member who answered was incredibly rude and dismissive. Instead of helping, they were combative and couldn't--or wouldn't--properly explain the charges. 3. Lack of Transparency This office has my insurance information on file, which means they know exactly what is and isn't covered. Despite this, they proceeded with treatment that wasn't covered without asking for my approval first. When I finally stopped by the front desk in person, they gave me a completely different reason for the charge than what was said on the phone. Final Verdict The way this office operates is unprofessional and dishonest. They are not transparent about costs and the staff does not show the minimum courtesy required when talking to customers. I recently had another follow up appointment and was supposed to be sedated however the office waited to call in the prescription late in the evening before my visit after I made two attempts to pick it up so needless to say it was not ready, this has happened twice. We were referred to this amazing Dental team, by the business that we were temporarily renting a home from. My first visit, i was in need of having a crown glued back on. It had popped off, thankfully I didn't damage it...but Dr. Liu put it back in place quickly. This was my first time meeting this wonderful team at HCFD. I've also had two dental cleanings in our first year and they also spotted two very small cavities that I wasn't aware of, as I typically get 3 cleanings a year and take very good care of my teeth. Both cleanings were done by Susan...who is very pleasant, gentle and sweet. :) The fillings were just done today, and they were quick, easy and painless (so small, they didn't require any numbing YAY! Hence taking proactive care before they got worse, it was a simple procedure). I was in and out in 25 minutes!!! Dr. Liu was extremely gently and explained the process as he completed the task. Every staff member was genuine, kind and professional. I am very impressed by the professionalism of this staff. They all go above and beyond to ensure that you are comfortable and don't experience any pain. (No one truly likes dental work, but this team is wonderful!). My appointment was at 11:15, we got there around 10:45. They told me one of their procedures was running later than expected, and I went out at 11:45 and was in my car by 12:30.
