They tried to charge again for fillings paid in June. Dentist saw they done n said system had not charged. I said I believe I paid n will go home to check records. Nobody had problem until checkout. First girl said today was a Zero Balance. But the 2nd woman (short brown hair) gave printout bill $525! I said no i dont owe that give me one zero balance. She then told me I was "bring ugly to her girl" n wasn't going to print it until I quit asking for it. Then I did get mad when she told she wasn't printing until I went out to lobby. I did n told girl in there what happened. So Brown Hair comes out n tells me I have to leave. Girl beside me said she didn't mind me telling her. So I said Don't send me anything saying I owe $500! 1.5 Hours finally got receipt showing zero balance. She wanted to hide what they had done but people need to know and Brown Hair needs to be gone! read more

UPDATE!!! (I just got seen by smiles connections in gallatin and they simply told me my tooth is NOT broken and sadly mentioned that Ideal dental waisted my time and tried to gain a pretty decent penny) I really wanted to trust this dentist, I've came in before no complaints until when I came in for a scheduled supposed filling. I had waited all numbed up in the chair for the dentist to come in and tell me I didn't need a filling but I had a broken tooth instead. Therefore they gave me a schedule appointment for a crowning. I've been to this location multiple times before for fillings and cleanings and not once have I been notified that I had a broken tooth. It was very random for me to walk away with a numb mouth, no work done and a new appointment for a crowning. I realized my pain was not very severe in the broken tooth so not worth the money to fix at the moment, I put it on hold and canceled the appointment. I left feeling very uncomfortable and unsettled. It's hard to find good dentistry around here thats affordable even with insurance. 04-23-26 this occurred. I've cancelled all cleanings and appointments after this incident. I just didn't understand how they couldn't look and see if I actually needed the filling before they put a huge needle in my mouth and sent me out the door. read more

I went there on 12/31/25. I waited 2 1/2 hours for basic cleaning. That's on me. However, they were trying to treat my husband and not me. They kept referring to some type of infection. I hadn't been there in a year so I was so confused. Come to find out, I don't have any type of infection. Fortunately insurance was denying treatment. I was baffled until looking into it. The people in this office are on a whole other level of incompetent. There are lots of other dental offices out there. Arrived at my app time 1:30, 10 min early at 1:20 was told by office manager Alanner Yestur that my app had been changed to 1:00 with no text or email confirmation to me. Therefore, because I was late, the next emergency app for a broken partial would be in June, today being in April. i flossed and a piece of my tooth came out so I scheduled an appointment apparently I needed a crown due to not enough filling I had to have another follow up appointment which I was seen 1 hour later after my initial schedule time for the temp crown it was going well at first untill they needed to extract it without any numbing it hurt so much It was throbbing for about a month once I was seen for the crown placement I had a cleaning and cavity all scheduled for one go it felt very very rushed they were trying to extract it again without any numbing I was shaking so much from the pain and they still did not stop trying to pry it out they only stopped after I started tearing up and it felt like they got annoyed by it once they had everything numbed and got most of my cavities fixed after they added an additional fix they didn't state which tooth just oh I found another cavity and they started working on it I was in pain for another week and a half since the dental cavity fill was too high I went back again they almost fixed it my bite is still misaligned and she didn't fill a tooth hole she created which she stated was natural way of my tooth which it's is not I now have to find someone else since I'm still in so much pain I have to take pain killers to eat it's been 2 weeks now read more

I made an appointment on Sunday for a Wednesday afternoon appointment- I got childcare and drove from westmoreland. Only to get there and have them say they "called me multiple times and left me a message to confirm my appointment" and since I didn't confirm, they not only canceled my appointment but gave it to someone else. I am not sure what the issue is with this place, but we scheduled an appointment as new patients and when we showed up, they said they didn't have us on the calendar. This was very inconvenient because our daughters were home from college so we had scheduled around their dates. We had to reschedule for their spring break, and seriously when we showed up, their office was simply closed. Lights off, doors locked with a note on the door that they were closed. We called them several times and left multiple messages and they never even called us back. They didn't call to let us know and still haven't responded after the fact. I can't explain it, but personally we decided to go to a more professionally run business. We only chose Ideal because we loved the online scheduling option but it clearly doesn't work. read more

Scanned in my insurance card and filled out initial paperwork online. They called to confirm the day before- and yet when I showed up to the appointment they turned me away and told me they don't "currently" take my PPO insurance but that they're "working on getting it accepted soon." I ran out of work for the apt and it was a very irritating experience. read more

This office is particular always reschedules our appointments or schedules on a day they are not open. My husband was rescheduled five months out for an emergency dental appointment. They have still not resolved the issue at hand. The office management has no regard for the care of the patients or their time. read more

I have a fear of dentist due to being treated horribly and them not listening when I said I wasn't numb. That dentist even continued the treatment. Ideal Dental and all the staff at the Gallatin location made me feel so comfortable and they understood my fear. They continue to check on you during whatever you are doing and tell you before they do it. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

I recently moved to Gallatin and wanted to find a local dentist. Fortunately, Ideal Dental opened within walking distance of my house, so I decided to give them a try. My experience was outstanding. Dr. Singh and the entire staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. The work they did was both needed and done well. First, they showed me the x-rays and photos of my teeth and explained the work that needed to be done (that my previous dentist had overlooked). Then, the business manager explained my insurance coverage and what the cost of treatment would be. Next, they did an oral cancer screening, which no dentist I've visited has ever discussed! I was able to quickly schedule with them for the same day and Dr. Singh and her team did really great work! I feel better, my teeth are in great shape, and I have a better understanding of my oral health. The office is clean and relaxing, and they have great technology to make your visit as comfortable as possible, explaining things along the way. They have earned my business and they will be our neighborhood dentist. I highly recommend Ideal Dental to anyone looking for a positive dental experience. read more

I'm sure Ideal Dental in Gallatin TN is okay for routine cleanings; however, they are inept at emergent care, reading x-rays, or basic extractions. My husband was suffering from an abscess (confirmed earlier in the week via x-ray by another dentist and he was put on antibiotics, scheduled in two months for a root canal and crown). My husband was in so much pain he just wanted the tooth pulled rather than wait and then go through a root canal and crown. We visited with another dentist in the hopes my husband could get the extraction done sooner than two months because he was in so much pain after one week of antibiotics. After a day of visiting several dentists who couldn't work him in any sooner, we visited Ideal Dental, who said they could see him right away and perform the extraction. Awesome, we headed right over. They did get him in right away but now I know why they're not busy at all. They took another x-ray with a handheld blue tooth unit and then proceeded to tell us it was not infected and there was no abscess (his face was three times the size and lip was turning white). We showed him the films taking a week ago and showed them the abscess and explained to them what that dentist explained to us. It was odd that we seemed to be teaching the dentist and her tech this. The dentist acted like she didn't want to even touch my husband and kept asking her tech (yes her tech!) what she should or shouldn't do. The dentist then told us to go to the emergency room because my husband needed to see a neurologist...for a tooth abscess? We kept asking her why because it was confirmed already that it was an infection by THREE different dentists and he had been taking antibiotics for a week already. She just kept saying she needed approval from a neurologist. She's the dentist/doctor, so okay. Monica (the tech) and the DDS both told us that as soon as we got the okay from the ER they would pull it for him. Monica even told us that she would stay until 7pm for us. Okay, there's a plan even though the reasoning didn't make sense. We went to the ER, Sumner Regional, and the ER doctor and staff were at a loss at why we were even sent there, much less why we needed a neurologist. They did a CT scan just to make sure (I hope to God that insurance covers this because it was so unnecessary!!) and it was confirmed an abscess (go figure). The ER doc said the best remedy is to get this tooth out so the infection can drain and heal, and he had no idea why the dentist couldn't or wouldn't take care of it then. I called Ideal Dental in Gallatin, with the ER doc standing there with us, and the receptionist said she could get husband in the following day, and we would need a note from the ER doctor. The ER doctor is giving us all sorts of confused looks while hearing this. I then reminded them of our conversation earlier about pulling the tooth today and that Monica said she would stay late for us. The receptionist spoke with Monica, she came back and again told us, tomorrow. If the dentist didn't feel confident enough to pull a tooth, why not just say so??? Why put us through all of the ER, CT scans, and mental anguish instead of just saying that she didn't want to, or she that it wasn't in her wheelhouse? They just told us enough to get us out of their office even though it was all incorrect and unnecessary information. Just tell us the truth! Now if the insurance doesn't cover the CT scan I'm going to be lived and completely lose it. THAT IS NOT CHEAP, and it was completely unnecessary! The ER doctor just told us that he wouldn't trust anyone to work on his mouth if they acted like this and certainly if they were afraid to do a simple extraction. Knowing we have to wait for the extraction the ER doctor went ahead and drained the abscess to give him a little relief and to buy him some time. The ER staff was absolutely wonderful and clearly felt bad for us. Do not go here if you need help, fillings or extractions. Perhaps routine cleanings but nothing else at all. This dentist should stick to being a dental hygienist or a Dental tech. She is not competent to be an actual dentist. read more

I was going through the Invisalign process and really wanted it done by my son's wedding, and they moved heaven and earth to help make that happen.
