I was taken back after sitting just a couple of minutes by Angel the awesome tech. I love the technology of this office. They do digital X-rays and photos. Super easy no pain no stress, and super quick. I saw Dr Kaplan today. She is so nice and I got a great report today. My hygienist was Chelsea. I hadn't had an appointment with her in like a year. I guess I was scheduled with a different hygienist. She is so great! She is very detailed and personable. We caught up on what we have both been up to this last year, during my treatment. I just love the personalized care. I do have new info that they are using a new and improved fluoride treatment. It is water soluble. And it only has to stay on for 15 minutes to be effective. That means you only have to wait 15 minutes before you eat or drink anything. They have two flavors right now mint or watermelon. The watermelon flavor is light and sweet. I like it. They gave me sunglasses to wear during the exam so the bright light they use to see doesn't blind me. Lol. I was able to book my next 3 appointments while sitting in the comfy chair. I received a tooth brushing kit, perfect for travel or work. Check out was super quick. This office is professional, friendly and efficient. Team work in action. The hours are also important to me. They are able to get me in, late afternoon after school hours. So perfect! This office is right between my school and my house so it's perfect for me. There is always plenty of parking. There are spots right outside the door or right across. I like to pop over to Trader Joe's and dollar tree when I'm over here. I highly recommend. Check them out. read more

I used to be a big fan of Green Valley Modern Dentistry, but over time my experience steadily declined. There was constant turnover -- the hygienist seemed different at nearly every cleaning, and my dentist changed multiple times. With each visit, the overall bedside manner felt less personal and more rushed. There seemed to be little concern about explaining treatment plans or helping elevate concerns I had. What ultimately concerned me most was the treatment planning. After seeking several second opinions, I was told by other dentists that some of the recommended treatment recommendations, including crowns, were aggressive and unnecessary. That raised serious red flags for me. I also began to feel uncomfortable with the front office staff. There was noticeable pressure to agree to additional services, and when I asked questions or declined treatment, the response sometimes felt dismissive. Because of these experiences, I decided it was best to switch providers. I hope they can refocus on consistency, patient communication, and more conservative treatment recommendations in the future. read more

Scam artists. The male "doctor" Devyn Esquibel was all hopped up on something shaking and anxious came in all upset and walked out mid conversation like a toddler throwing a tantrum for a visual quote to replace a cap and one filling. He stated my X-rays weren't clear enough for him from my previous dentist. No other actual dentists had any issue reading them. I HAD to pay him for his "better" X-rays or he can't help me, no other options even though his staff confirmed a free second opinion as long as I brought my X Rays. RUN far away from this place. This guy has problems and he will take it out on you. Mind you I've already had three other opinions this week with the same X-rays as I am shopping around for best pricing for $4000 average cost. Green Valley Modern Dentistry - This is the unprofessional scam artist - General Dentistry Near Me - Henderson, Nevada

After waiting 30 minutes to be seen, I noticed none of their x-ray technicians changed their gloves in between patients. The same gloves that were in my mouth...I saw go right into the next patient's mouth. From what I was able to see, they use hand wipes to sanitize their gloves in between use of different patients. They casually use the wipe over the palm of the hands and throw it away. With the same gloves on, they move around the entire office, touching everything. Then they go to the next patient and put those dirty gloves in the person's mouth. I will never be going back, disgusting hygiene, practice. Also, be wary of the younger male doctor. He seems to rush through the dental exam. I had to ask for a second x-ray because I thought he was missing a cavity. The new x-ray showed that there was a cavity forming. He explained that the first x-rays weren't taken properly and blamed it on the x-ray technician, Star. read more

I want to preface, I have a lot of dental experience and dental trauma. Been to quite a few before landing on Green Valley Modern Dentistry. Dr. Low actually cares about her patients and explains everything throughly and compassionately. She has some of the best bedside manner I've ever experienced from a healthcare professional. Even the other contracted professionals in the office are great. The endodontist was great and sharing jokes. I appreciate having a specialist come to the office and not have to drive all over town. The only con would be the office wait time can sometimes get long. If you're just going in for cleanings, it's relatively quick. Overall, I would highly recommend GVMD. read more

When they say "modern" they mean it! You need to know that I am terrified of dentists and you also need to know I have a chronic sinus congestion so breathing is incredibly difficult as they put the chair all the way down and throw water in my mouth as they drill. It's one of those feelings I can't stand. Dr. Tan is marvelous! He understood all of my traumas and made sure I had enough breaks to breathe. His assistant Maurine was so sweet. She made me feel a lot better. Everyone is friendly and genuinely concerned for your how you feel. Because of their high tech equipment my crown was done in no time. I took pictures to show you the process. Don't judge my painful looks : ) And yes, I'm staying with Dr. Tan and Maurine! No need to look for another dentist!!! read more

I have never, and I mean NEVER left a dental visit and looked forward to my next one...until my visit at Modern Dentistry today. Since I have been having dental issues, I've visited numerous doctors and each visit has left me feeling miserable about my oral health's future and relenting any necessary future visits. After so many painful, traumatic experiences I thought each dentist office I'd visit would be the same. Then happened to have a cracked tooth which needed attention and read such positive reviews... wow. Just wow. Dr Low is like if your cool aunt was also a dentist. She was very thorough with all of her information, answered all my questions, and listened to my needs and concerns about limiting care right now due to being in late third trimester and wanting to wait until after I delivered. Then we made a comprehensive plan for the other lesser issues I was concerned about. The staff was personable, professional and kind. I could tell that they enjoyed working there and bonus points for laughing at my jokes. As I was leaving, Dr low was filling in for a front desk absence and taking appointments on the phone. I was impressed and amazed and she was beyond kind and thoughtful in all of our interactions. When I say no to deep cleaning like multiple times during an appointment from last year and then you set it up for my next appt today...did you just not get the message? I obviously don't want it and said no multiple times in my last visit. But somehow you guys scheduled my appt today with a deep cleaning. The front desk scheduler said I consented to this and I am aware that I needed it to be done. I tried to refrain from writing a bad review for this place but really today was the last straw. I'm glad I canceled my appt today or else they would of tried to do a deep cleaning when I said NO. The scheduler said I'm free to say no but then you guys scheduled this and tell me it's recommended? So when a customer says no they don't want it, you keep pushing for it until they say yes??This is absolutely ridiculous. I'm not an idiot. We know you need to make money but this is beyond inappropriate. This place is like going into a car lot and the car salesman pressuring you to buy a car no one likes. I had great service before when this place became a money making machine. However, the last year this place has gone downhill. I went to see Dr Bush last year in which multiple times during my appointment, they kept saying I need a deep cleaning when I was just there for a check up. Mind you, I had a deep cleaning the year before. There is no medical guideline that I need to do a deep cleaning every year!! First of all, it's expensive and insurance only covers a portion of it, the rest is out of pocket. Second, the deep cleaning made my gums deeper from last time. I kept getting food stuck in my gums. Third, they also had the audacity to be like oh you also need laser cleaning!! For what?!!! Isn't my yearly check up enough. They also try to charge you for fluoride... from the dental assistant, dental hygienist, and the dentist- you need to do a deep cleaning. I said no to each one of you. The dental hygienist also went into a deep explanation why I need to get it done. I work in the medical field- I'm not naïve. But even when I said no, she kept egging it on. This all rubbed me the wrong way and really had to consider whether I should come back. Dr Bush told me I had a hole in my tooth and told me she would just monitor it..which made no sense. What if this turns into a cavity?!! I had it and was planning to change dentists. Unfortunately, I forgot to cancel this appt I had made a year ago. I was maybe reconsidering giving them another chance. After reading google reviews that this place is going downhill, I planned to cancel it. When I spoke to the front desk, she said you have an appt for check up and deep cleaning partial...I was like what?!!! That's when she said I consented to this. Nope not happening. I told her my concerns about this place and how this place just keeps pushing to be extra even we you refuse. Welp I will be taking my services somewhere else where a dental office will actually listen to their customers and provide better service without the pushiness. read more

My first dentist here was Dr. Oweis, who is fantastic. She specializes in making smiles prettier, and did a lovely job on my front crown. She is extremely blunt and won't beat around the bush with you. She's a "says it like it is" person, so that may not work for all types of patients, but it was fine with me because her work backs it up. My recent visit I booked with Dr. Bush was the best dental appointment I've ever had. From the minute she walks in, you can tell she likes her job. She is not only kind and friendly, but will listen to your questions and provide quality answers. My autoimmune disease has affected my oral health, but every time I've asked previous doctors, they shrugged it off. Dr. Bush actually cares about her patients. She addressed every concern I had at my appointment, and made me feel comfortable to finally talk about my questions in depth. I cannot say enough good things about her. She is why I will recommend GVMD to friends/family. The front desk ladies are also wonderful. Julianne and Sarah - thank you again for all of your help. I know working reception isn't an easy job, but you guys cared enough to help me save on cost and explain my options. I just got back to work after quarantine, and those savings will go a long way for other necessities. You guys really helped me so much, and I appreciate the extra effort you guys put in during my appointment. **If you want a gentle and nice hygienist, I highly recommend Nichelle. She is my go-to hygienist and has made cleanings much less miserable. I have seen Alvaro twice, and he is too rough and doesn't really care too much about patient comfort. I've been improperly numbed, poked, stabbed, and had my lip polished due to him rushing. You can teach cleaning teeth, but bed-side manner is also important. I hate going to the dentist. I hate it. When I first found this place, years ago, I was looking for help to not only get away from the person who swindled me and ruined my back teeth but to find a place I could trust again. Green Valley Modern dentistry made me feel welcome and like I was part of their family. Though I still hate the feeling of people in my mouth and those darn anesthesia needles grinding into my gums, I have been better about coming in for my cleanings and yearly visits. I did stop for a bit to see another dentist. One of the only unfortunate things about this place is that your dentist may not stay long. Only Dr. Tan will definitely be here (but that's something I can understand as people like to move on and gain experience elsewhere or even open their own practice, like Dr. Tan). As it turns out I just found out a few days ago my new doctor will be leaving soon and I'll be reassigned again. However, I am not going to switch. This place is clean, modern and hires genuinely nice, professional people, who are good at their job and that matters to me more than "I need the same doctor." read more

I came in yesterday after having a terrible experience with a different dental office due to chipping a tooth and needing it extracted. I saw Dr. Jenna Kaplan, who really took the time to talk with me and narrow down where the pain was coming from. She was able to get me in for an extraction the very next day. Been going for many years, Lisa is great for cleaning but the others seem like they just got out of school, the front office is meh, systems suck, can't schedule using their portal, messages go ignored. But the finally straw is just the dentists, every time I go back, it's a new person, and they want to start over again to make their money, charge the insurance for unnecessary things, add on, extras, just a wasting my time, shame, clean place but I'm tired of the staff turnover and going back to a less corporate type place where the dentist actually owns and runs their business. read more

I originally went to this office when I needed a dental implant because my primary dentist did not do that. I saw Dr. Tan and he was amazing. Fast forward to when my dentist retired and I called for a cleaning only to be told that Dr. Tan was no longer there. I went anyway, was told I needed a crown replaced because of a gap between the crown and the gum. I had the procedure done with no issues. So, about a month ago, I called for a cleaning appointment. When I got there today, they immediately took x-rays. Then, the dentist came in to check my teeth. She said I needed cleaning - well, duh. Then she said that I needed to have two crowns replaced because they were old and leaking. It just seems like every time I come here they find something to redo or replace. I never did get my teeth cleaned because the hygienist was off! Why didn't they call me to reschedule if I was going for a cleaning - so, that they could charge for an office visit and doctor consultation, that's why. Besides, doesn't the hygienist clean your teeth before the dentist examines them; at least they did at all the other dental offices I have been to in my life. You can bet, I will never return. read more

I came in they didn't do a cleaning had me come back and then told me my appointment was at another time even though I had an email confirmation. Then when I needed to rescheudle gave me a problem and told me I could reschedule anymore after this initially being their fault. I asked to speak to a manager to resolve this a month went by and nothing. I came into the office she stil hasnt reached out to me till this day. The staff are pleasant and prompt as well. So many businesses don't care about their clients. Here it's the opposite. Three visits so far and stellar care. I've been having some severe teeth pain. OH MY....BASED ONLY ON A PHONE CALL!!! Good grief! Need a cosmetic dentist to fix a chipped tooth. Liked the reviews of this place and thought I would call. PROMISE, no exaggeration.....waited on HOLD for 10, yes 10-minutes with an automated response system. Then after 10-full minutes some sort of answering service and a lady named Charliza picks up the phone. I tell her what I am looking for and she has NO IDEA what I am talking about and places me on HOLD again. BUT not before asking 'what my insurance was'. I am cash pay, but who cares....I am placed on hold again and told, 'the office will have to call you back'. UGH!!!! Why is it so darn hard to find professional services in this town? Really? I always feel like it is an alternate universe. Any suggestions of a solid cosmetic dentist in Vegas with a front office staff that knows there stuff....please backchannel me. This place seems friendly and professional but it's all a façade. They will perform treatments without insurance approval so that you have to foot the bill if it's not covered. Treatments that were covered by your previous dentist will absolutely not be covered here as they will submit claims with unnecessary codes. Most of it you won't even realize until you see the claim from your insurance. In one visit they billed my insurance for 15 times the cost of what my previous dentist submitted in an entire year. They will use scare tactics to try to persuade you into going back more frequently and will absolutely not explain what is actually necessary. It's all or nothing with this place. read more

First, and foremost, I must say Dr.Doty and Tiffany are amazing ! They are personable, gentle and professional. Dr.Doty takes her time to explain everything to you, and really is invested in getting the best results for her patients individual needs. Dr.Doty and Tiffany are the perfect team, and whenever I see them my nerves are settled. I know I'm in good hands and I trust their decisions. At Green Valley Modern Dentistry, I am very comfortable. Overall despite the extensive procedures I have done, my post procedure discomfort is very minimal. I have been other places (nightmares) but Green Valley Modern Dentistry has been the complete opposite and I am very thankful for that. Dr.Doty has even called to check on me and see how I was feeling. Even when, I hit a snag, Dr. Doty has been the one to make the phone call. Who does that these days ? I also appreciate being able to get evening appointments. The office is very easy to find and there is plenty of parking all around the building. Once inside you sign in and within a few minutes your are whisked to the back. I have never had to wait long to be called back even as a last minute appointment they have always been swift. The office is very clean and inviting. There are beverages available as you wait as well (never sampled, no time). The staff(EVERYONE) has been so nice .They all seem to really enjoy working there and are as kind to each other, as they are to the patients. It's nice to see the sense of community they have it gives the office a welcoming vibe. I enjoyed hearing staff use their " word of the day " and they play the best music ! It's definitely been an arduous dental journey for me. However, I appreciate the team at Green Valley Modern Dentistry. I love the staff! Everyone is always so friendly and helpful and you know it's genuine. I appreciate how the staff gives you step by step instructions (front office with treatment, costs, and payments), hygienist during cleaning, x-ray techs, and then the dentist. Even when the office is busy, I've never waited longer than 5-10 min to be called back. That lets me know they value my time. Dr. Bush is so nice and I love my hygienists (Nicole and Lisa).
