This company is money hungry and only care about numbers. Only care about what they can get paid for not about the actual concerns or care of the patients. The over charge for everything you cant even get a denture cleaned with cleaning without them charging extra. The staff turn over is crazy always a new face and they don't seem happy at all the ones that are there. Once you really start to like someone working there they are gone immediately. They seem understaffed as well. They dont have a permanent hygienist so they are always rescheduling you. Makes you wonder why everyone keeps leaving that office. Its just the dr and his wife that remain. I would say go somewhere else where they dont just consider you money and actually care about you as a person and what your needs are. Dentist is money hungry. Threatened to report me for abuse and neglect because I told them I would take my kid to another dentist to get his sealants and fillings done because the price changed from what they initially told me. Mind you this was a completely voluntary visit meaning my kid had no discomfort or pain so how I'm neglecting and abusing him for getting him more organized care is beyond me. Front desk staff is extremely unorganized and was by far the most unprofessional dentist office I've ever been to. The dental hygienist is probably the best thing they have going. The dentist truly tried to bully me into getting the services done there and when I stood my ground he was offended. I will also be reporting him to the dental board. read more

Be Aware,dishonest I had a crown that came off and the dentist said That I needed a new crown because my tooth that supported the crown was decayed.At a cost of $3000 did not feel comfortable with the diagnosis so I went to another dentist to get a second opinion. The second dentist took an x-ray of the tooth and said your tooth is perfectly healthy and you do not need a crown,They cleaned the old crown and glued it back on.Cost $43.00 I cannot believe that a dentist would risk loosing their license for a few dollars. i will also report this incident to The Nevada board of Dentistry. read more

I just had my wisdom tooth removed and Dr. Cho and his staff were amazing. They clearly outlined costs, the procedure, and post procedure information/ prescriptions. Wow...what an amazing office, starting with office manager Anna, who greets you by name as soon as you walk in the door. Dr. Osga is super friendly, gentle and very knowledgeable. He takes time to explain everything to you and makes sure you are very comfortable during the whole process. So apparently my last dentist filed a cavity way too close to the nerve causing me sensitivity on one of my molars... then he moved out of town! I went to another dentist for a first opinion and Dr. Cho was actually my second opinion. The first dentist said I needed a $2,000 root canal to fix it. Dr. Cho said he thought he could save my tooth and my wallet from that procedure using a technique that pads the nerve. Given that he actually teaches dentistry at UNLV, I trusted his opinion and skills and let him work in my tooth. I'm so happy with the result and so happy to have saved some money too! I have been going to Carepoint Dental for the last 5 yrs but last year Dr Lee sold the practice to this new Dr Osga who is terrible. I went back for a tightening of my crown on an implant and he could not do it (did not have the proper tools) and then tried to charge me $60- upon leaving. He did not do anything and it was suppose to be under warranty anyway. I will never go back to Dr Osga fresh out of dental school and money hungry with very DECEPTIVE business practices. I visited the office when one of my teeth got swollen that I had root canal from another dentist, and a few other dentists had advised me to extract before visiting Dr. Cho's office. Instead of simply extracting the tooth, he took and reviewed the x-ray carefully and decided to retreat the tooth even though it had a very low chance of success as it was retreatment (he also shared the x-ray with his college professors to find the best way to save the tooth). As a result, the retreatment was successfully done and I am very glad that I did not have to extract the tooth and do the implant. I have visited a lot of dental offices in Las Vegas and got ripped off and treated by doctors who only cared about the money. However, Dr. Cho was different and he explained how bad my case was and as I said, he found every way to save the tooth. I was very impressed by his professionalism, thoughtfulness, and paying attention to details skill for his patients. read more

What a rip off. They did not honor my mailer and include the cleaning for $59.00, instead they told me I needed thousands of dollars of work and charged me $40.00 for the visit. I then took my xrays and report to my dentist in Los Angeles and had him give me an exam and sure enough everything is fine. I also paid $85 for an amazing cleaning at my old Dentists office. Why do they make you wait so long if your appointment is at 1030, why do they make u wait 56 minuets just to go sit in the chair get X-rays and wait another 40 minuets to see the dentist... And then the waiting area is seriously small and crowded. I almost felt awkward sitting so close to the other patients in the waiting room. So making me wait 56 minuets in that tiny waiting room really sucked royally. Also turn up the a/c it's hot in the desert and your customers deserve to be cool. I kinda felt like a cattle waiting to be herded it the next area, oh great here walks in another patient she will prolly have to stand cause this place is crowed but I guess that's easy when you have a tiny eating room with only five seats. Is that the best you guys can do for your paying customers is make them stand around and make the wait. The staff is very nice and every one except one counter lady is Asian, I hope it's not a pre requisite to work there? The dentist was a very nice lady, after she check me , I needed 2 filling so the cost for a cash customer was 620 that was way more than what I was quoted on the phone. I was to 29 bucks for exam and 100-200 a filling/ so after saying somthing about the cost the price was dropped to 381and really that's 50 more than what I was quoted and I was so tired of waiting 2 hours and 20 minuets at this point, and when another dental tech came in she didn't even know what she had to do to my mouth. And then more waiting what is going on I know it's lunch time but come on already. So between the lady that quoted me and then tried to rip me off, all the waiting and the tech that didn't even know what she was doing it is easy to give this place a low review. If it wasn't for how nice the dentist was I would only give one star. I am not too sure if I really need 2 fillings I know for sure I needed one but the second one seems a lilttle suspicious but I not going to take that chance. So as far as the work preformed two techs and the dentist cam into numb me up okay great, and then gone again it's like 1 pm and I am still here , still waiting and the numbing is prolly wearing off. URGH, so 3 hours and twenty minuets later and like 429 now instead of 382 I am finally out of here. I have been going to CarePoint since 2009 now, and I am very pleased. They do not rip you off, they tell you what you need, not what they want to do (like many rip off dentists in this town). Always very nice, everyone there! They are open on Saturday, which is very convenient for me since I have a work schedule that makes it hard for me to make weekday appointments. They start with what I need when I get there for my appointment, I rarely have to ever sit in the lobby, which I love because I hate waiting. Very professional, nice staff, and that's very rare in a doctor's office anymore. I had my six-month check-up at Carepoint Dental. The hygienists are wonderful. But when I tried to tell them my insurance company will not pay for the type of full-mouth x-rays they take every three years, and I can't afford to pay for them myself, Dr. Osga said, "I could care less what the insurance company or you want or think. I am the doctor and I don't work for the insurance company or you." Doesn't the money he gets from insurance companies and patients keep him in business? He also said, "I'm going to take the x-rays I want and when I want to. If you don't like it, you're free to go somewhere else." I moved out here from the east coast a few years ago. In New York, Boston, and Atlanta I ALWAYS went to fully licensed dentists, all D.D.S's. After their initial full-mouth x-rays, they never pushed more x-rays on me, unless there was a specific problem. I guess competent, fully licensed dentists on the east coast of the United States care about what their patients want and think. My plan is to continue going to Carepoint's hygienist until HE wants to take his expensive and uninsured x-rays. Then, I will take Dr. Osga's advice and "go somewhere else." read more

My husband and I came in for our 6 month checkup and We LOVE Dr. Kuiava! He's super laid back and explains everything clearly and addressed all our questions/ concerns. We've seen Dr. Kuiava in the past (I had 9 fillings done!!!!) and he is, by far, the best dentist I've ever had. He takes great care in making sure you know exactly what's going on in your mouth, that you're comfortable during the procedures, and he doesn't recommend any unnecessary work. We don't need any work done now (cavity free- yay!!), but if we do in the future, he is our go to doc. The staff is super nice and the office was cute and clean. I have been to many dental clinics in Las Vegas, but so far my experience with Care Point dental is superb. I went there for a severe tooth ache, and after taking the X-rays it turned out that the pain was from multiple reasons (bad root canal and crown procedures from other dental clinics). Dr. Cho thoroughly explained the detail cause of the pain using the X-rays, and he made sure I clearly understood the source of the pain. I was impressed by how thoughtful and considerate Dr. Cho was. Throughout my entire dental clinic experiences, I had the best explanation at the patient's point of view and was provided with various problem solving options. Going to the dental clinic is nerve wrecking but Dr. Cho's professional treatment with gentle skills made me feel comfortable and made my whole experience enjoyable. Like most of us I really hate going to the dentist. What's worse is that the last couple of dental offices I visited reminded me of fast food drive through. The staff were all up tight and the couldn't even figure out my insurance at one place so I ended up overpaying just to avoid further grief. With that said I need a good teeth cleaning and ended up choosing carepoint... I couldn't be happier, this place is great! The front desk people are friendly and totally on the ball. The Dr. is straightforward and for once a dentist didn't try to drill holes in my teeth because of, "soft spots". Mary and Summer are the two hygienists I have dealt with and they are both pros! This place was very welcoming and made a great first impression. I was worried about my front teeth because I needed a root canal when it chipped. It was very sore and a difficult situation for me but Dr. Cho dealt with the problem and I ended up not needing a root canal treatment, just a teeth crown treatment. I decided to take care of the treatment here from Dr. Cho who is always very good at listening to what I am saying, he always made me feel comfortable, and he is very honest. I'm an absolute DENTAPHOBIC who hates going into dentist offices, but Dr. Cho is very informative and is great at making patients comfortable. I'm a type of patient who changes primary care doctor million times before settling for the right one . When it comes to looking for the right dentist, I'm extra picky about it. It's very hard to come across a dentist who is not only good at their dental skills, but who also knows how to listen. Most dentists just jump in with a needle and a drill, but Dr. Cho listens to your concerns and explains to you about your procedure. On top of that, the dental hygienist there will shine your teeth very gently with no pain. My recent two dental visits definitely made a big change on me. I wrote a review last week and it is no longer on this page. So I am writing another. If you just need a cleaning this place will meet your needs. If you actually need dental work done the only dentist on staff that can preform this works on Saturday . On my first visit I was told I would have to wait 3 weeks for treatment. I was in pain so I was given a prescription 20 pills for 3 weeks. After week one, I called for a refill. They claimed I had to physically come in because they did not have the capability of calling in a prescription, they were open till 5. So I rush to leave work early to go pick it up. I get there and the door is locked ...at 4! So, the next day I call them and they admit they left early because they had so many cancelations. She then told me I would have to come today and yes they would be there. By this time I'm thinking, boy this place has horrible customer service. I really do not know if I can trust them. So, now week 3 rolls around, honestly I am not sure I can wait another week. I am in so much pain. I've always been a loyal person , but this place is pushing my buttons. So I go in and ask for more pain medication. They told me they gave me 1 refill, go to my pharmacy. My pharmacy said you can not get refills on pain medication in Nevada. So the girl says hold on let me call one in for you. Hold on. I thought they could not do this for me before, and now they can? Really? I honestly think that they do not want my business. I am covered by 2 insurances ...my husband's work and mine. I really think they are giving me a metamessage...go somewhere else. Why? Because I am not paying cash. I need two teeth pulled, two bridges and fillings. These people are not kind here....at all. Customer service matters to me. If I am paying my hard earned money for a service, I want good customer service. ...I am paying for that. I can not tell you how offended I was when the dental receptionist pulls up my file and reviews it in front of me to validate my pain. That would be like the school custodian telling a parent that they feel they need to have their child tested for ADD. Like she has the college education and training to make that call. Really? What kind of place are they running here? I just want my infected teeth pulled out and my exposed nerve fixed. I think I need to look for a new place. read more

STAY AWAY!! Carepoint Dental is HORRIBLE! First of all, they can't keep a dentist. In 4 years of going there we've had at least 4 different dentists. You start out going, make a care plan with the dentist, return for an appointment and the next dentist has a different plan for treatment. Who to trust? Next, 3 different times we have had fillings or periodontal treatment. Each time it must be submitted to the insurance prior to treatment and we know, upfront, the amount of our co-pay. Now, for the third time, they are billing us more than 18 months after treatment was completed for a balance, even though we either had already paid our share or were told there was no balance! Every time they change office managers we get a bill for charges that suddenly appear out of nowhere. They double bill and attempt to collect even the portion of the bill that they are required to write off due to contractual agreements. How is it possible that we've been in 4 times in past 12 months, paying as we leave, and now we get a bill for treatment 18-24 months ago?!!! Stay away unless you don't mind paying for the same service more than once. Plenty of honest dentists in Henderson rather than going to someone who would cheat people. As an update; I was able to get the EOB's from Liberty Dental Insurance regarding the treatment they are requiring additional payment (from 7/15). I also called Liberty Insurance & spoke with the claims manager. She reasserted my belief that Carepoint is REQUIRED to write off the balance because they are contracted to accept the payment made by insurance. We had already paid our portion, in advance. It is illegal for them to be billing us! I'm going to take this to our local news station as a warning to others. read more

They have taken great care of me over the last 2 years. Recently, I needed dental work and I was in great pain from an exposed nerve. They recommended CarePoint Dental just down the road at 130 N. Boulder Highway. I was seen immediately, even though it was approaching 5:00pm on a Friday afternoon! Dr. Tony Lee and his staff were absolutely awesome! He works fast and pain free!
