    Shrimp Hors d'oeuvre

Decent meal and good service in an area with lots of tourist traps. This is probably the best choice of the restaurants in the galleria area. Came by myself (no reservation) and got seated in about ten minutes. I would definitely recommend a reservation for two or more. I ordered the scallop gratin and bolognese pasta. First I will say that this place brings you a lot gratis. Like three kinds of bread (roll, breadsticks, and like a super thin marinara pizza or such). Also a shrimp hors d'oeuvre. The waiter was super friendly and the whole staff good, which was nice because I had so much bad service in my time in Milan. The scallop was not what I was expecting and a little pricy for what it was. Three scallops in some breading. Not the greatest, but ok. The bolognese was awesome. Kind of a small place, but nice. More freebies after dinner (small sort of chocolate ice cream thing). I would do it again.

This place is phenomenal. From the start when we were waiting in line and the host brought a chair out so my 86 year old mother could sit while we waited, to the amazing wait staff who were very attentive. And the FOOD was absolutely heavenly. There were 3 of us and everyone got something different....Everything was delicious! The special touches, like bringing WARMED cream for my coffee and a little bag of complimentary cookies to go just sent this place over the top! Don't miss this gem in Milan!!

Ambiance: it's located in the center of the remarkable galleria mall, a lot of famous people have dined in here, reservation is strongly recommended, walk-ins are okay, it just might take a long waiting time and not feasible if you're running tight on schedule Service: super friendly and patient with questions, provided useful suggestions Food & Drink: plenty choices of all classic Italian cuisines Bread - **** complimentary, and I like the bread stick too, recommend Vovo in raviolo con burro, parmigiano e tartufo nero - **** Egg yolk raviolo with butter, parmesan cream and black truffle, very creamy and tasty with truffle, recommend MARGHERITA - **** classic and basic pizza with tomato, mozzarella, basil, thin slice, recommend Latte macchiato - **** served with a piece of chocolate, creamy and smooth latte, recommend Price: relatively small portions and reasonable prices, expect €25+ per person

This is not a typical restaurant located in a very touristy area because it tastes outstanding. The ingredients are fresh and the food is so tasty, the servers are efficient and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful cafe with indoor and outdoor patio with many food options. Pluses 1. Great drinks 2. Pizza perfect crunchy and thin and lots of cheese large portion to share for two 3. Osso bucco was tender and nice flavor with risotto 4. Perfect panna cota texture light and mixture of berries 5. Friendly and helpful service Areas to improve None Highly recommended by the Teatro La Scala and Duomo and great value!

The best part of the restaurant is the ambiance. You're right in the middle of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, what inspired the gallery gourmet from the movie Wonka (which I love) so you have great people watching if you're out front, as we were, and beautiful storefronts and the iron and glass rafters. The next best part of this restaurant is the service, they were operating as a well oiled machine and took care us with extreme care. Lastly the food. Don't read that as the food is bad, as it's not. It's just not the best part. The food is adequate, I tried the Veal Milanese and some of my wife's Risotto Milanese, as those are Milan's signature dishes. For dessert we got the tiramisu and the chocolate pear torte. The tiramisu was fine but the torte was pretty great. As this restaurant has a high rent, you're going to pay a little more for the joy of eating here.

Generous portions. Attentive service. Lots of extras. Right at the heart of this iconic Milan landmark. Great people-watching vibe!

Amazing pizza we ate at Galleria. The Parma ham was sliced very thin and can melt in mouth. The waiters were very courteous and helpful to make recommendations. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We came here for lunch on a Thursday amid a long shopping day. The restaurant is in the middle of the galleria with both indoor and "outdoor" seating. We sat inside where it was moderately air conditioned. For lunch I ordered the chicken and vegetables and my husband ordered the diavolo pizza. The chicken was simple and well cooked and the pizza was thin and crispy. It wasn't super quick, but it was a good lunch and an easy location if you are shopping or visiting the duomo.

I think the service was some of the best I have gotten in Milan. However the food was just good and I was a bit disappointed with the dessert. I had the polenta with cod as a appetizer. This was something I wouldn't get again, it felt like they got fish dip and threw it on the polenta. The ossobuco with risotto was was the star of the show but it left me wanting more. If it wasn't for the service and atmosphere, I think it would have been hard giving this place a 4. Overall I feel the price of everything was not worth the food experience but more on the location/atmospher

Our first night ended at Galleria and it wasn't disappointed. We all had different meals and all were good with the exception of the lamb special. I personally can't eat lasagna in America, hate the cheese portions. This lasagna was made with a bechamel and bolognese and it was delicious. They offer several bread options with a thin pizza for snacks. Good wine selection. Great wait staff. They noticed the uneaten lamb and removed it from the bill. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I would like to complement their service attitude. However, surprises are coming non-stop. First, there's no sign says minimum order, yet we were asked to order an entree per person at 3:00pm while the restaurant was not crowded. (The pizza is 12inch) The server told us it's a very good restaurant we should not come in only order shared foods. When we asked if we could order appetizers or desserts. The server had to emphasize again that they usually ask to order entrees because it's a very crowded restaurant. Even when I asked if I could decide later because I didn't want to order whatever and waste foods when no one had any ideas of what to order, they kept pushing till I said we can go to other place. Pizza was good, pasta is just okay, oysters are very skinny. The servers were also discussing our party in Italian.

First stop for food in Italy and this place did not disappoint. We got a bunch of items and shared them all. First was a Parma Ham and Ricotta appetizer that was so simple yet so delicious we knew what we were in for. We then got Tagliatelle pasta with meat sauce and an Ossobuco (braised pork and risotto) everything we had we were pleased with.

My best friend has Lebanese roots and Medditeranean cuisine is my absolute favorite. So I'm picky in this regard! I ordered the vegan platter which came with a lot of varies small plates with various textures. All the classics - salad with tahini dressing, hummus, babaganoush, grape leaf roll (just one lol) as well as some other dishes like green beans and eggplant in stewed tomato, and some fritters that were not exactly falafel. I think they were made with corn meal... that's not falafel lol. They still tasted delicious! There was also a little fried spinach snack and roasted potatoes. When I shared the pics with my friend, she immediately said why do they have potatoes that's not classic Lebanese, haha! Ethnic cuisine in Milan is okay. A lot of times the spice profile is toned down a lot ( I assume because that's what North Italians are used to) but Beirut's offerings are still quite delicious! If you're feeling super hungry after a long work day and craving various textures and flavors, do what I did and get yourself the vegan platter delivered to home!

Cold mezé tajin was the best ever tried, chickpeas, lemon juice, onions, garlic & cilantro: this was my absolutely favorite dish. Warm mezé falafel, never had them so crunchy outside and moist inside. Warm pita bread made upon demand in a wooden oven. I tried the sambusik but will not order again, the filling of meat and onions was excellent but pasty outside was too thick. Lots of vegetarian dishes, all very tasty. The Dolce Neve dessert is similar to panna cotta from Piedmont but the rose water and pistachios gave it a different twist. I still prefer panna cotta. A very filling and satisfying meal priced at 20 bucks each. Great value for money. Strongly advised.
