Had the most amazing margherita pizza here for under 10 Euros. I might even go as far as to say it was one of the best things I had eaten on my entire Euro-trip. Piping hot, thin-crust and gooey, stretchy cheese - absolutely delicious. It was my last meal in Italy, so I was rushing to make sure I had enough time to see the nearby Duomo di Milano. This place is nothing but spectacular. Stepping in the galleria automatically tell you why Milan is the financial capital of Italy... It exudes money, high-class, and more money! The stores here aren't for the faintest of heart...erm cause you'll end up spending a lot of £$€¥ if you decide to go shopping here... But if you do, good on you! There are tons of restaurants to eat in and the Leonardo museum is located here as well. The Galleria is a great place to people watch and also let your imagination wonder. If nothing else, this place is a great shelter from the rain when it starts raining in Milan. It's right next to the Duomo and several metro stops so it's very accessible. There are several museums next to it as well so if you're tired from shopping, watching people, or being with the crowds, you can easily walk in one of the art museum near it. I've now been to this restaurant four times in four days. Absolutely delicious. Might be a little touristy because of the location, but it's absolutely charming. The pizzas are very thin and crisp and are fantastic. The pasta is stunning and simple and the lasagne ala Bolognese is delicious. The service is excellent and the food always arrives promptly. Very,very professional waiters. You get what you pay for. Class all the way. We had the Risotto and the tomato mozzarella and the fish. All were excellent. The risotto was perfectly cooked and al dente. The tomatoes were ripe and very nice. All in all an excellent location and the food was some of the best we had in Milan. Bravo! I wanted to give our servers a standing ovation after tonight. The best service we've ever received anywhere. From arranging seating for our large family of 8 in 30 min on a Friday night(!) to the fantastic service all around. I was very surprised to find this restaurant in the galleria! I was with my boyfriend and we needed to have lunch before walking more in the city for shopping. We looked around for some review sites, and this place had a very good rating! So we didn't think twice before sitting down! The staff was very attentive, that's how you do service in restaurants! The service was perfect, I have nothing bad to say about it. I had the risotto and it was very good. And for dessert you must try the panna cotta! It was the best I ever had until now. Started with a nice amuse bouche of a pickled pepper stuffed with tuna and cheese in a bit of pesto sauce, antipasa of asparagus Bismark (with cheese and two perfect sunny side up eggs), then a lovely lasagne for me and gnocchi Sorrentino (tomato sauce and mozzarella) for my wife, and mains of Osso Bucco with saffron risotto (and bone marrow!) for me, while my wife had perfectly cooked sea bass with tomatoes and olives. Had a pretty good Alto Adage Pinot Bianco as well, and then, even though we were full to bursting, they brought us homemade cookies and digestives (limoncello for me, miro for my wife). The service was a perfect blend of professional and personable. And the setting, IN the galleria, is fantastic. Cheap? No. Worth the splurge? Absolutely. The "king prawn" and mushroom pizza is not worth it at 22 Euros, but the pizza was fairly well-prepared and tasty. My wife had the Wurstel (sausage) pizza which turned out to be more or less hot dog. Galleria earns two stars mostly because a bottle of water and two cokes cost 20 Euros. They would not allow us to drink tap water and the 7 Euro cokes were clearly poured from a large plastic bottle into small glass bottles - 14 Euros for two flat cokes. We only had an hour to eat before a concert at La Scala during our one night in Milan. We had a fast three course meal here and it was very satisfying. It is very expensive, so if I lived here it isn't really a place I would go to, but on a whirlwind vacation with my mother (thus more money and less time than usual), it was perfect. The osso buco was outstanding, very tender and flavorful. The costoletta was also great but the potatoes were a little burnt. The dessert case was gorgeous and the panna cotta was excellent. Stopped here on our last day in Milan before heading to the airport. I'm always a bit sceptical of restaurants surrounding main tourist attractions, but this place was an exception. The menu is very reasonable and the quality of everything we had was great. My wife and I had a pizza each, a bottle of Pellegrino, and two double expressos to finish our meal. Went here tonight for dinner around 8:30pm with my husband. We are on our honeymoon coming from Miami, FL and we were AMAZED at how professional and nice the staff was at this restaurant. On our honeymoon we have gone to several cities in Italy, France and Spain and this is by far our favorite place! The attention they give and professionalism is almost shocking. They open the door as you enter and exit, they help you remove your coat and put it back on, and they stay around the entire time in case you need anything. I definitely recommend this place! The food was amazing!! I had oysters which were very good, the margherita pizza was PERFECT. Its enough for 1 person but could also be eaten by 2, its very thin which I really like. My husband had the ravioli di margo and it was delicious, he also had the milanese veal which I had a piece and it was just perfect! Perfect size, thickness and juicy! Had the pleasure of eating here during my trip. The seafood pasta was good, but what was astounding was their oysters. Of all the places, never knew I'd have such great oysters in Milan. As for the food, I had the veal Milanese and found it lacking. The veal was a bit tough with the breeding not as flavorful and too easily separated from the veal.
