Since that time, I have come to know more about this young, brilliant stylist. She is gracious, effervescent, gentle, and interesting. I persuaded my husband -- who hadn't been to a stylist in about six decades -- to come with me and have Rachel cut his hair. He said that he now knew what I'd been raving about for months. Beyond Rachel, the salon is wonderful. They recently moved into new and upscaled quarters. And although the stylist complained about the product and its idiosyncrasies with each visit noting that I was only one of two customers who used that line (which got annoying, frankly), she eventually literally talked me into adding more color (teal), and if I recall, Hendrix already had the color in stock. In any case, it's immaterial whether or not you purchased it for me because you performed the exact same process on my hair roughly 7 times and then suddenly decided it was more complex and time consuming when in fact the stylist conveyed to me that it would be easier each time because she had done the color mapping. The fact is, you did not do right by me and this whole matter was handled unprofessionally. I cannot recommend a shop that is willing to lose a customer rather than work with them. I was very hurt, upset and disappointed when Hendrix called me to not only move my appointment farther out but then to increase my rate. I was stunned that you would do this as I'd never seen such a thing. Apparently, the ol' adage "the customer is always right" has been lost on you folks.
