The salon was only about a 10-minute drive from my hotel near Red Rocks, which was incredibly convenient. Kaytie was absolutely wonderful--professional, kind, friendly, and so easy to talk to. She immediately understood my "difficult" fine hair and listened carefully to what I wanted. Not only did she understand my vision, but she executed it perfectly! My blowout looked fantastic and held beautifully throughout the evening. Kaytie is an incredibly talented stylist, and I couldn't have been happier with the results. My hair looked amazing that night, and I received so many compliments. If you're looking for someone who truly knows how to work with fine hair, she's your person. The worst permanent jewelry experience we've ever had. My daughter and I waited 2 weeks for our appointment to get matching permanent bracelets. Alex, our stylist, seemed inexperienced with the installation process and struggled throughout the appointment. Two days later, my daughter's bracelet fell off. We then waited another two weeks to have it reinstalled, only for it to fall off again the very next day. Because of the repeated issues, the salon scheduled us with a different stylist - only to later call and say there had been a "shift change" and Alex was the only one available. The lack of quality and customer service was extremely disappointing. I also called regarding the reschedule immediately after receiving their text message, but no one answered. I check in, ask for the appointments with, they tell me, Sammie. I told them that I didn't make the appointment with Sammy. I made the appointment with Katie. They said that Katey had to leave d/t a health concern. I understand that, but I would've appreciated phone call to reschedule the appointment. I'm sure Sammy's just as capable, but the point is I made the appointment with a different stylist for a reason. Front desk was wonderful. Kind welcoming professional. Hair stylist over charged an arm and a leg for a blow out. $150.00 and then out of the kindness of my heart (I always tip) it cost an extra $20.00. Yes, I have long curly hair and have been told to ask for extra time, which I did when I made the reservation, however my stylist ran 15 minutes late- had a weird attitude towards me, and finished within the average normal amount of time- not requiring extra time- but since she started late I was still charged for the extra time. Plus, I've been getting blow outs for years, and with the $100 blow out ad refused price, I assumed this would be a higher end very good blow out- it was not. I was unimpressed with her attitude, and the extra charge on top of being a late start and a not so great blow out in the end. I will Just go to Dry Bar or a Blow Bar in the future. read more

Kay'de is not only a great stylist who nails my color every time, she is also flexible. I have came at the wrong time, she adjusts her schedule to fit me. When I had a golf match she got me out early. I am a flighty client who she takes care of every time! I would highly recommend Kay'de for her skills, but she is a joy to be with as well!! read more

Every one there was so friendly and inside was so chill. While I was waiting I was offered either gem water, hot tea, or espresso. I love that they also have tiered options. I was charged $250 for a partial. To be fair, the partial looks nice. To be real, that is a stupid amount of money for a few highlights. After a couple of days, the owner called and made a gift to my favorite charity of choice and will work on how pricing is communicated to future clients. I really wanted a professional stylist to help me with extensions. I wanted some thickness to my fine, thin hair. I went to Zandi's and did a consultation for extensions and a highlight. The stylist had the same type(thin and fine) so I thought she and I were communicating well about my hair. I loved the highlight and ordered the extensions after talking to her in depth about the options and what I do as far as styling my hair. I had to go back to get the extensions a couple of weeks later. She did a quick tutorial while she put the extensions in my hair. She put 15-20 pins in my hair to keep the extensions in. I could only wear them for about 45 minutes before I had to get them out of my hair. They were so uncomfortable. She wouldn't cut them only trim them and they are 4-5 inches longer than my real hair so they look horrible. You could see pins sticking out and my head and it was so uncomfortable being pinned like that. She also said I needed to curl my super straight hair to get the extensions to blend. My hair doesn't hold a curl for more than 15 minutes so that doesn't work for me. I told her 3 things I do with my hair: pony tail, french braid and a bun. I can't do any of these things with these extensions. I wanted thickness not length. They were not cheap and I can't use them. Between the highlight and extensions I spent over $600+. I loved the highlight even thought it was expensive $300+ I wasn't given a price for the highlights, only the cost of the extensions. read more

I just got my hair cut at Zandi K from Erin and she was amazing! She was so professional and welcoming and warm! She asked all about me and what I was looking for and made sure we meant the same thing in a hair cut. She also gave an AMAZING scalp massage! I came away feeling the best I've felt in years!!! My hair looks and feels so pretty - better than it should for how fine it is! Can't recommend this salon and stylist enough!!!! I have been going to Zandi K for close to 10 years. In fact, I have spent so much money at Zandi K, I am on their VIP list. Stylists Julie and Ricki are the bomb; They are attentive to their customer's needs, fun, and excellent at the service they provide. Originally I went to Zandi K because I liked the concept of "organic" Aveda. I justified the price by the the spa experience, an excellent outcome in the service requested, plus luxurious head and hand massages. That was before. Julie and Ricki are still 5 stars but the salon has decided to take on a Costco membership, assembly line approach. It's suddenly ridiculously expensive and instead of feeling like I am at a hair salon, I feel like I'm at a car wash deciding which, and how many, add ons I want. I will not be back. I can't even give a rating on a cut because I walked out before being seen. Their website says that they are following "extreme Covid safety precautions ", but I walked in and only about half of the people were wearing masks (apparently your stylist only wears one if you do), and the salon was packed with people meaning I would have been sitting close to multiple people, not socially distanced, not wearing masks, talking loudly over hair dryers for more than 30 min at a time. We still have high transmission rates with a highly contagious variant here in CO, definitely not a risk I was willing to take. They may give great haircuts, can't comment on that, but just wanted all to be aware that this may not be a low-risk option during these Covid times! read more

I will not be returning to this salon, nor do I recommend it. I came in for a basic haircut and left with a crooked cut and missed strands. I am still finding uneven parts of my hair. When the cut and style were finished, I pointed out an uneven section to the stylist, and she trimmed them up quickly. Upon getting home, I found more. I called the salon and was not called back. I called again the following Monday and played phone tag with the owner. The best she could do was text me to come in for it to be fixed. No shot I want to spend any more time at this place. I have been growing my hair for more than 18 months. It grows very slowly and I finally got it to the length I wanted. It needed a little cleanup and some shaping/layering. After showing the stylist a picture and giving explicit instructions, I was assured she could give me exactly what I requested as she claimed to have many years specializing in men's haircuts. Nope. No way. Not. Even. Close. I asked for a professional, stylish, shoulder length, men's cut. What I got was a chin length "pageboy." I couldn't be more disappointed. For $60 plus tip, I expected better. My neck wasn't even properly cleaned. I have a customer facing job. I now have to face clients for the next 4 moths with a really bad, almost embarrassing, haircut before I can find someone to do what I asked. I've always wanted the layered a-line cut I see in magazines, and I finally have it. I've been to Mandi twice now, and she has a customer for life! My super thick hair is beautiful and bouncy when I leave the salon, and last cut it stayed that way for three months!! Unheard of!! Mandi listens to what I want and is truly an artist! Kaylie was amazing! After receiving several lame haircuts from several different stylists, I was almost to the point I never wanted to get my haircut ever again. It's incredibly frustrating to tell someone what you want, have them repeat it back to you and you think they understand, and then it turns out NOTHING like what you asked for. What's the difference between a good haircut and a bad one? It's the way it grows out. The last few times I have had Zandi K cut my hair, it has grown out so terrible. I feel like I've been way overcharged for very undertrained stylist. The most recent time I was in, I showed my stylist a picture of what I wanted. She only took 20 min to do my hair. In the end, she gave me a cut that was nothing like I wanted and something she felt was more appropriate for my age. I will never go back! read more

Groupon only works for an apprentice level hair cutter. but she did a great job, the second time I requested the same person but she was not available so I got another apprentice. The quality of hair color has gone down, their pricing has gone up, and the communication skill of stylists is based on impatience as if to get you out as quick as possible. I have yet to come out happy with my color or the experience. Oh, and when I attempted to just get a root touch up, I was sent out with wet hair and felt like a second-class customer (paying $85 + for the privilege). Tangerine Hair Brassy, bleached hair, the color of tangerines is what $288 gets you at this salon. My daughter and I went to for a consult to get a "melt" for her brown hair over Thanksgiving break and we were told if the bleach didn't lift enough color to get the pale pink color she wanted, then it would be bleached twice at the same appointment The next day she went in and paid the amount quoted but the hair was the wrong color. She left for college, the both of us hoping the color would fade thinking the orange was from a peach color being added rather than a pink but it never did. Her hair was just orange. We called when she came home for Christmas upset, asking about what had happened and to find out we had paid for one bleach, toning, pink and a gloss which was never mentioned at the consult and that they never bleach twice in a single appointment! I asked what we should do and a master colorist was recommended to fix the color and that they wouldn't give us any discount because she didn't return within 7 days to complain. Then rudely, it was suggested if I wanted to save money then I could see a stylist that didn't have the specialized color training. I believe, we were told what we wanted to hear to get the appointment and she was hoping we liked orange hair. We will go see a master colorist to fix their mess but I don't trust them and will pay a master colorist elsewhere. read more
