    We have spent a good amount of money in the Abilene store, and were even talked into the…read morePurple Cow Protection plan, which we tried to redeem last week. After being passed of by a senior sales rep. A very nice young man named Jorden helped us even though he would not have reveived a commission on the sale. I had seen a rug online, and had called the store earlier in the week, and had received less than satisfactory results by that call. Jorden said yes, the rug could be ordered and looked up the item number for me. The ladies at customer service would be better suited writing parking tickets, as one of them flatly informed me I would have to call to see the balance left on PCP. The fact that I had never used it made no difference, and they refused to call for me, the customer. Jorden again was willing to call for me, but I called, and put it on speaker to share their horrible hold music. Once my $189 balance was verified, and I thought we were good, they informed me there would be a $90 fee to deliver the rug from Lubbock to Abilene...Really? They didnt do that when we bought a rug 5 years ago! Jorden was willing to pay the delivery fee out of his pocket, as it turns out, but we do not need the rug, only wanted what we were promised. If we do return to Ashley, will only deal with him in the future, as he went well over above and beyond to retain a customer, and it is appreciated. I would give Jorden 5 stars for his integrity, but the rest of ' em can take a flying leap.

We needed them delivered in 6 weeks. Ashley texted us 2 days before telling us our delivery was still on schedule. They didn't show up in the delivery time so I texted. They replied that our delivery had been rescheduled to 3 weeks longer for the sofa and 6 weeks longer for the recliner. Customer service is handled thru an automated call center. You can't contact the store directly. Impossible to get any assistance after the sale. I texted and emailed to cancel the order. They said there's a process to do that.i said yes, I'm calling Amex to dispute and refund our money. Amex handled it. Do not do business with Ashley. Patronize your local furniture store and keep the money local.
