For 1 Small/Medium item, 2 Small items and 1 Mini item we paid $112.36 (with tax), but I know the business has to be able to make a profit as well. It is collection of small business owners with hispanic goods and foods. It is an amazing event that has a lot to offer everyone. Parking can be tricky but the park across the street is a decent place to park. Vendors can change their space weekly and there are new vendors every week. There is a DJ spinning La Chona and other classics and the vibe is very family friendly.

In addition to being a venue that people can rent for business or personal functions, it's also a little museum. They have a kitchen, a nursery, a computer room with HP computers if someone wanted to do a class there, other classrooms of varying sizes, and larger rooms where people could host something like a wedding reception. They even have a bar. For the museum type, you can walk around and look at artwork on the walls upstairs and downstairs, bright, colorful murals showcasing some classic Mexican themes like loteria, La Virgen de Guadalupe, Selena, and a low rider couple. They also have a room that has some ornate Mexican sombreros, dolls, and more artwork. This would be a great place to take younger kids, or homeschoolers on a field trip, and of course, to rent space from to host a variety of events.

I was always in awe of how well it was maintained and cared for while being public property without any fencing or security. The garden is conveniently located by the Boise Zoo and not too far from the Anne Frank Memorial (all worth checking out if you're in the neighborhood). This also means it is an easy and fun addition to any commute on the Greenbelt.

The sweet woman working that day was so friendly and a joy to talk to. Ward Hopper's artwork was interesting and unique - if I'd had a way to get it back home, I might have purchased more! Ward is an amazing graphic artist, and if you have spent any time in Idaho you have likely seen his…read morework for local shops, events, street signs, etc. His style is vintage chic, and his shop is full of not only hundreds of his amazing images on canvas and lithograph, but also tons of cool old school items - including antiques tied to automotive, sporting goods, and all kinds of Americana. I've bought cool glasses and decanters from Ward, as well as clothing, jewelry, and furniture pieces. Ward will do custom artwork as well, and I've had him get really creative on custom frames - one of my favorites is a Tom Petty canvas print that he framed with four electric guitar necks. I can't speak highly enough for the quality and 'coolness' of Ward Hooper's artwork.
