The teacher was kind, but not very effective at guiding the group. She also made some awkward jokes and would laugh at them herself, which made things feel a bit uncomfortable. When people needed help, she wasn't very responsive or useful. I've been to quite a few of these over the years, and this was by far the weakest instruction I've experienced. That said, shoutout to the woman working the bar--she was incredibly helpful and definitely helped salvage the experience!

But thankfully, Aly is the bomb. Not only is she a patient and skillful teacher, but we had so much fun with her. A class at Wine and Design would be perfect for work events, bachelorettes, date nights, and gifts to loved ones! Things to know: - Aprons are provided but definitely wear clothes that you wouldn't mind getting paint on! - Class offerings include regular classes, private events, kid events, and charitable events - Instructors are flexible! If there's something that you want to do differently in your design (we asked to add glow-in-the-dark paint to ours) - Open 7 days a week (Currently, 6 PM to 9 PM Monday through Friday, 1 PM to 9 PM Saturday, and 1 PM to 7 PM Sunday) - Location is downtown, so depending on the time of your class, pay the parking meter!

These classes are approximately 1.5-2 hours long and are led by an art student from one of the colleges in the surrounding area. THE CLASS: Aside from the fact that these classes are so much fun, they are also hyper-localized (which I LOVE)! Everything about these classes screams local--from the teacher who leads the class, the coffee shop it's hosted at, the best friend duo that owns the business, and the art supplies they use.
