Great coffee shop located right in downtown Carrollton. The service is always really quick and I love that they change up their coffee blends so you get to try new flavors. They have a great selection of pastries and the coffee cake and muffins are especially good. They also have way more seating (including several couches) than your typical coffee shop, so it makes for a great place for meet ups or hang outs. read more

Decent coffee shop, prices are a bit high. I've been to this shop several times and the environment has been pretty good. Today, it was warm in the shop and I asked to turn the heat down and was told the thermostat is locked and nothing could be done about it. If this is true, it's ridicules the person in charge should have the capability to do something about it. If it's a lie, shame on the two employees that stated such. read more

Love me some Gallery Row! It is definitely a small-town cafe and I love it. however, i will point out that it is slightly over priced. Their cookies are $1.50 a piece! but dammit i buy it anyway cuz they are so yummy!! I highly recommend trying out their interesting varities of teas and they are reasonble. I recommend to get the medium size and ask for refills of hot water cuz they are pretty strong. I also recommend their chai tea but it can be a hit or miss depending on who your barista is. Make sure you get the card they punch holes in everytime you buy a drink because after ten cups, the next one is free :) They have free wifi, the place is comfy and warm, and the people are always friendly. read more

I have been to Gallery Row a few times and each time has been pleasant with a few caveats. I have ordered coffee here several times as well as smoothies and frappuccinos which were pretty good but nothing outstanding. I also had lunch here two days ago and although the food was decent, the prices are a bit on the high side. I was impressed with the selection of coffees, teas, and drinks that they have. It also has a somewhat pretentious vibe but the people behind the counter have always been very nice and helpful. Maybe it's just the crowd that was attracted, which were mostly the younger hippie dippies. read more

This place is the real deal. Starbucks is a generic off brand in comparison to this place. They have milkshakes, coffee, expresso, bubble tea, matcha tea ( one of my favorites). Prices are more than fair. It has a pretty cozy atmosphere. The WIFI password is printed on the receipt so make sure you tell them when you are ordering. DONT THROW IT OUT. Located off at the Carrolton Square and has limited parking in front however there is a safe and clean parking lot behind the buildings. Employees are great. I have come in and had lovely chats with many of them. They are also very good at recommending drinks! I never would have tried the cookies and cream milkshake if it hadn't been for them! At first I was very pleased with the new management of Gallery Row. There used to be a problem with too many teens hanging out, not buying anything and being really loud, but that has stopped. Sadly, there are now several other problems. They require you to have a wifi password now that allows you 2 hours of wifi use. Often, these passwords do not work, or the system will be messed up, so it you've come to study or do anything else on the internet, you'll need to pack back up and leave. Also, during the day when it is crowded, you may not be able to get online simply because they have now restricted how many people can be online at one time. Because of these new wifi passwords and the current system they use, connecting to the internet with more then one device isn't an option. As someone who goes to this coffee shop A LOT and spends about 2 hours there each time (if it's night and isnt crowded), this is very annoying. I'd like to usewifi on my laptop for my homework or general enjoyment, but I'd also like to use the wifi on my phone for checking in on games and such. Likewise, there have often been times where I wished I could connect my Nook to the wifi just for a moment and download something while it's on my mind. I really dislike all the new wifi restrictions and faulty connections. As far as coffee goes, they are only average, but they do have a very good selection of tea. They do not however make "real" spiced chai, but instead some powdered drink that is NEVER mixed well. They food has never been even fair. The only reason I go to this coffee shop so often is because Bella Coffee is so expensive (and has kind of odd hours) and there is simply no other coffee house to go to. If I had more options, I wouldn't choose Gallery Row anymore. read more

I prefer Gallery Row to any other coffee shop in Carrollton (big name or little). The others are either very strong or weak on their flavors, where Gallery Row gets it right. I haven't had any of their meals, however, their pastries, cookies, donuts, and (blueberry!) scones have never disappointed. :) Location is everything and being on the Square certainly makes life easy. Prices are right and, honestly, as a small business owner myself, I don't mind a 2 hour time limit to wi-fi with a purchase. It's fast and convenient. "Free" is subjective, I suppose, but, if a limit isn't put on (especially on the square) I can only imagine how hard it would be to find a seat at time and enjoy the coffee in-house. I also love their staff - always chatty and friendly. Very welcoming and helpful when I can't make a coffee decision (yeah, I can be one of 'those' orderers). read more

I truly used to LOVE gallery row! I would get it almost every week, if not multiple times a week. The staff is so nice, and coffee is so good. That is until I met the owner of gallery row! Such a rude woman. I was not greeted with a hello, only a "is that a service animal?" In a rude tone referring to my small puppy. I then preceded to say no and she immediately began to talk over me saying I couldn't be in there with it. I asked if I could just order and leave and that I was not planning staying in the shop with her already and she shrugged her shoulders and said "fine!" Again in a rude tone. Keep in mind that this whole time I had walked in that the dog was in my arms and was never put on the ground! She took my order and questioned my order like they did not have it and then continued to talk over me and give me a rude look. She then walked away and wouldn't help me checkout. It took me speaking up to another employee to get help and then that employee cut me off in the middle of my question and answered someone else question. I then payed and stepped back and waiting for my coffee. The owner once again had something to say. She said "you can stand outside" and so I then stepped outside and waited for my coffee for 10 minutes, just for the employee to come out and not even the owner. SUCH A RUDE EXPERIENCE. Such a rude lady. If it was seriously that big of an issue she should have asked me to leave without ordering, and she could've done it nicely. I'm blown away by how rude she was. And considering the other employees allowed me to bring my much larger adult dog into the shop MULTIPLE times, I couldn't believe it. She said "don't bring her back" before I ever ordered. She should've told me right then that i needed to leave and I would have. read more

This coffee shop may be my all-time favorite. I love the restoration of the building, and the food is delicious. I had the freshly baked muffins and scones every morning I was in town for business. Also, the hospitable staff prepared a take-out lunch for me each day--delicious homemade chicken salad on a freshly baked croissant roll. Delicious! read more

I go on occasion for the coffee, the Mexican Mocha and the Green Tea Matcha are my favorites. I have had a sandwich at Gallery Row and it was good, just not as good as the money it took to pay for it. I don't go for the atmosphere. I don't really feel at home there, so I usually don't hang out . The friendliness of the staff is hit or miss, ranging from chatty, witty employees, to at least one who is a bit self-absorbed. read more

Ownership has changed, and the fun, youthful vibes have gone. The new (hard-working, ambitious) owner is around too much for the liking of any long-term lounger. Whatever upbeat, lets-make-this-world-a-better-place vibe that this place once had is gone. Part of the change is that the baristas no longer choose their own music. The music is mainstream dullness now. It is now more business and less oasis. The coffee has more caffeine than anywhere else. Would be nice to have brewed decaf for afternoons and evenings. The teas are great, although the selection looks like it is dwindling. They just built a soup and salad extension to their counter, which has gobbled up a fair bit of the seating space and makes the space feel smaller and less warm. It is still a great place, an oasis in this town, but, in its latest incarnation it is surely more profitable for the owner but hardly as comfortable for the patrons. read more

Great place to grab a snack while downtown! The cookies are to die for and the coffees are all very good! The bubble tea isn't very good at all, but that is to be expected at an American coffee shop. This is probably the best Coffee Shop in Carrollton. You can make any order extremely complicated to fit your needs, and the baristas are glad to make your drink in a rather timely manner. I come here quite often, if not daily, and have never had a bad experience. For those of you wanting a study environment, I find it very easy to work here, although, if you want wifi, you must first make a purchase. I will not bore you with a stupid and grammatically incorrect anecdote, but bottom line is..... it is a business, and just like any other business, they dont need people loitering for 5+ hours without even thinking to make a purchase. It is only fair that you make a certain number of purchases in correlation to your time spent in an establishment. (On a side note, the internet always works constantly and is rather quick). In the way of drinks, the baristas invest a lot of time and effort into making sure their creations are somthing you will ENJOY. Who doesnt like over priced coffee and a quiet place to sit? This place is a West Georgia hang out and if youre in town, it's a great place to sit and surf free wi-fi. Sometimes, the after school high school kids can overwhelm this place, but for the most part, it is a good chill out spot. It is only a damn shame there isnt another one like it. read more

I'm not sure why the complaints. The atmosphere is great. I like to come by here to write or to meet friends for chatting. The wifi is great, but they do require a purchase and limit it to 2 hours. I don't think this is unreasonable. Many coffee shops are doing this. Since they are paying for the wifi and even provide power for laptops, buying a cup of coffee every two hours is acceptable. I love the setting, seating, and there are many places for setting up to work, study, or socialize. I give it two thumbs up. I would give it three, but I'm short one arm. read more

Good chai tea lattes and pastries. Sometimes it's a hit and miss with the chai teas. Sometimes they are too sweet with not enough spice and then some times it would be just perfect. If you want to get a green tea latte, I would opt for Starbucks since they use real green tea matcha powder. I have no idea what kind of syrupy concoction they served me as a green tea latte. I used to live in Carrollton, but haven't in years. When my husband and I started visiting, we searched for free wifi to catch up on work while in town. We found Gallery Row and love it! Why wasn't this around years ago?! The coffee is great, the music is perfect, and the shop is very clean and decorated with lots of local art. The worst WiFi I've ever had at a coffee house, a diagnostics of the WiFi which I ran when I was the only one in the coffee house on a Sunday Night when everything around was closed placed the WiFi in the bottom 5% of public wifi speeds in America. Having Jo's from Athens coffee is better than the Bowden roasters they were using. Poor WiFi makes it not a good location for working. read more
