I had a special piece to be framed that was dear to me, and included a metal medallion. I wanted the finished work to reflect the value and significance of my pieces, but I didn't know how to get there. Nick spent time considering several treatments and styles, and he got what I was inarticulately after. His final suggestion was perfect. Kelli delivered excellent customer service and the final product is just stunning. I'm so happy I went with Gallery Seven, and they're getting all my business from now on. Nothing short of spectacular! We recently brought in for framing a new oil painting we bought in Europe (of decent value). Nick was patient and extremely professional in his ideas and advise. We have done lots of framing in the last couple of years since we moved here (another frame shop that we loved and reviewed favorably), but are extremely happy that we have found Nick & Kelli. Frame was ready on the day they promised and the framing work is nothing short of spectacular, including features I have never seen on other frames we had made. It sure looks as if Nick things of everything, including attaching on the back of the frame a colored photo of the dedication I had the painter make for my wife (and that was covered by a protection layer). A spectacular find! I was lucky enough to look on yelp for a framing shop near me in Concord. I had an amazing Navajo rug stored in a trunk for 20 years that I wanted mounted and framed. For the first time, had some real grown up art to frame. No fuzzy Ansel Adams prints, no kittens "hanging in there", no rock band posters from the 80s--real art, by real artists. Clearly, this required a real frame shop. Where to go in the wilds of Metrowest? As it turns out, Gallery Seven, that is where. The husband and wife couple who run the place are experienced and have an excellent eye. They provide guidance without trying to upsell at all, and we were able to select the right frames and mats (when appropriate) for each piece. If located close to their shop in Maynard, they will even come and hang the pieces for you, which was great, especially considering we had some larger pieces to be hung in elevated locations. Framing art is not cheap anywhere, but their prices are reasonable, and they were very willing to work within our budget each time. Bottom line--we have now framed 8 pieces with them, and are very happy with each and every one. Their gallery space is also great, featuring local artists. read more

I had a fantastic experience using this frame shop. It's run by owners who are super responsive - much more so than the high-end framers in my town. But I'll continue to drive the extra distance to support talented, honest people. I brought in 4 antique architectural prints that were in tough condition and what they did with them was magical. They then went above and beyond of any frame shop that I've been to by delivering the final four frames to our house and hung them on our difficult plaster walls. This service in and of itself was an extra two hours out of their day including travel. This was about a year ago and seeing these prints on my walls makes me incredibly happy. I continue to spread the word locally about this shop. They have my loyal following and I highly recommend to anyone, even with tricky prints/paintings. They know what they are doing! read more

Kelli and Nick were fantastic to work with. I got a very large print custom framed at Gallery Seven and the final product was beautiful. They walked me through the process start to finish, helped me to decide what exactly I wanted and went above and beyond to provide step by step instructions (via a youtube video they made just for us) on how to hang our framed print. They were friendly, professional and responsive. They also have safety protocols in place that make you feel safe during the pandemic (social distancing, hand sanitizer in the business, masks, appointment only). I had a very unusual framing request (framing a digtial 3D tablet with unsymmetrical routing to inset the tablet and a power cord hole)... Nick was as excited about it as I was! Kelli and Nick make a great team. These guys are so awesome and they are very kind. I have went to these guys twice. The last time was a couple of weeks ago. My grandmother just had a couple of strokes and wasn't to well. She is currently in a nursing home. The painted photo of her and husband at their wedding fell and the frame broke. Her husband died so this would of been devastating for my grandmother especially because she is very confused. So I called Kelli and asked for her help. Nick and Kelli understood that my grandmother couldn't find out. They reframed this picture fast using a frame that looked exactly like the 50 year old frame I brought. I have had a couple of pieces framed by Gallery Seven in Maynard. They always do a fantastic job! The latest project is 13 original prints by Dali, and I need them to be framed properly. I enjoyed working with Nick to figure out what frame and mat would work for the prints. He is a great person to brainstorm with for the options that fit the content and the size of the prints. He provided great suggestions of farming them properly, so these prints would be preserved correctly. I also enjoyed working with Kelli to arrange the logistics. I've had two difficult framing projects completed to perfection at Gallery Seven. One was a piece of artwork that had been damaged (the artwork as well as the framing) and the fine folks at Gallery Seven were able to repair the artwork and reframe the piece and it looks as good as it did prior to becoming damaged. The second was the fifth in a series of family photos all matted and framed the same way which had been done by the FrameLoft in Sudbury, who had retired. This fifth piece had to match the other four it would be hanging with and Gallery Seven really went above and beyond to find the exact frame and matting to match this work with its four siblings. Framing is very reasonably priced! The owners are professional and very easy to work with. The art collections very from safe landscapes to kitch art, that makes you a little uncomfortable. We had two big projects completed for our home this year by Gallery Seven. Kelli and Nick worked with us in multiple sessions to help us make sure everything was exactly as we wanted. For one of the projects there was a lot of back and forth about what we wanted for the framing material and they were patient and helpful as we worked our way through the decision making process. The final result was amazing and all six pieces came out so beautifully we couldn't be happier. For the other big project Nick very thoughtfully explained a technique on how to preserve the pieces by creating archive corners which would give the option to remove the pieces in the future given they were collectible items.
