These days, to find a decent spot that does inspections, you gotta travel. So, based on the other Yelp reviews, I trekked up to Edge Motorsport in Sloatsburg to get the inspection sticker on my new ride. Their shop is great with a lot of cool cars in the lot and in for things. There was a fabulous ABT modified Audi, a Murcielago in for what looked like a major, and a few other fine German, English, and Italian marques. The people here are great, too. Friendly, knowledgeable... exactly what you want in a nice shop to take care of your fine motor car. ;) I didn't have an appointment, but rolled in on a random Thursday. They took my car in immediately and took care of the inspection -- and even installed that dash cam that I'd been meaning to get to but haven't because I've been too busy... Prices were spot on -- a great value. So, if you need a shop -- a nice shop -- with great people and great prices to take care of your ride, head over to Edge Motors. Yo

Ok, very frustrating, but I rescheduled AND called back to CONFIRM that they knew what vehicle they were replacing. They said yes, all set. Then, on the morning of the second appointment, the tech called me and said, "Okay, so it will be $651." Yes, almost THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS more. I called the office and the guy said, "well, it's an FJ Cruiser and it needs special parts." Well no kidding, you knew that from the beginning! What an absolute joke and waste of my time. I brought in my brand-new Red 2026 Model Y Tesla Juniper for paint protection film, knowing all too well that Teslas have notoriously soft paint. I wanted to protect my investment, especially with the brutal NY winter we've been dealing with this year. From road salt to flying rocks, I didn't want to take any chances, so I opted for at least a full front-end PPF immediately. I worked directly with Kyle and Tony, and they were phenomenal. Communication was top-notch, clear, responsive, and detailed at every step of the process. They walked me through everything, set expectations clearly, and delivered exactly what they promised. The quality of their work is outstanding. The film is flawless, the edges are clean, and the car looks incredible while being fully protected where it matters most. On top of that, their pricing was very competitive, especially considering the level of craftsmanship and care involved. What really stood out was the follow-up visit about a week later to ensure everything cured properly. That extra attention to detail shows how much pride they take in their work. Once the weather improves, I'll absolutely be back to finish protecting the rest of the car. If you're looking to protect your vehicle, especially a Tesla, I can't recommend Xclusive Autoworks and Paint Protection enough. Highly, highly recommended.
