When I did get it done though, the crook charged me $37 for a $10 inspection. The dummy gave me the wrong receipt and I paid cash so I didn't go back for a refund. Guess it's a weekend thing, but was nothing like when I went their last time. I was just charged $10 that time.

Insults during the ride to Doc's Auto Body in Haverstraw were nothing compared to the realization after I was safely in Kingston that he had charged me $20 more than stated on the invoice. The total is $201 just for the tow. Three phone calls failed to correct this mistake. I am 82 but even a youngster shouldn't be subjected to this mistreatment. I encourage anyone who experiences this abuse to file a complaint with Rockland County Consumer protection (845) 364-3901.

This is now the second time my family has dealt with this here. My sister's car suffered similar interior damage just a week prior and there is a clear pattern of negligence. When I brought the car back a few hours later to show the damage, the manager who wears glasses was very passive and immediately tried to dodge taking ownership. He told me he would check the cameras and call me back no later than the next day. It has been several days and I still have not heard a word from him. To make matters worse, the actual cleaning was sub par. The interior was improperly cleaned and it was obvious as you could still see dirtiness on the front doors. They are clearly rushing the work and then refusing to take responsibility when they cause damage. I am sure the business will reply here with a generic message acting like they want to help or claiming they have no record of this. Don't be fooled by the professional online responses. When you stand in front of them with the damage they caused, they do everything possible to avoid accountability and hope you just go away. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere that actually respects your property and stands by their work.
