After working long shift he went to his room which he expected cleaned , it was filthy pee all over the seat, boogers on the shower curtain... he checked out Sunday oct 6th at 7am there were two men at the front desk , he told them he was checking out and needed a receipt he also let them know what he saw so they can fix the issue so another guest doesn't have to go through what he did. Instead of I'm sorry that happened , " here's your receipt have a nice day " neither one of them acknowledged anything that was said to them as if they have been through this before and didn't care what was said. . .

Spacious bathroom that is clean and nicely done. Little kitchen book is also cute and they have a coffee maker, plates, cutlery, glasses, etc. large closet to hang clothes and store suitcases. If you have lots to hang bring some extra hangers from home. The one issue I have is with the A/C. We turned ours on about 6 hours ago and it tries its hardest but I don't see it getting to the cool 67 that we'd like. Outside temp was only about 85 as a high today and it rained this afternoon which cooled things off more so I just worry that when it's 95 or 100 outside that it may be pretty uncomfortable in here but I don't know for sure. This is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. If A/C was on point this would be 5 stars without question.

(There were two rooms but no door between them to make a true suite.) Then, the dirty and dingy area rugs - get rid of them! The hall carpeting also needs vacuuming, if not replacing. The room has a little 30 inch TV sitting in the extra-large living room with absolutely no way to stream content, even with my Roku gear because the remote has no Input button. The room also lacks noise deadening draperery even though we were on main street! You get it. Then, the leather couch, hot in the summer and cold in the winter - go figure! Also, this couch is also so deep that your feet can't reach the floor unless you slide halfway down the couch, or you're 6 ft 4--either one! And no wifi!  Staff said they were trying to reset their router, but no results ever showed up. This could be a "high-end" place if the proprietors only cared enough, but apparently they don't. It's the little things and the "extras" that count.

In a time of impersonal online reservation systems and automated greetings, it's nice to find a B&B like Lincklaen House that sticks to its charming roots (and yes, they personally call your room in the AM). While giving some guest lectures up at Caz College, I had the pleasure of staying overnight and enjoying both breakfast and lunch on site to boot. Complimentary breakfast is provided for overnight visitors, and consists of waffles, yogurts, breads, fruits, coffee, tea, and juice. Better yet, we got to enjoy everything in the enclosed courtyard, with radiant heat floors warming up an already cozy space. Lunch options at the tavern are as hearty as they are heavy...come hungry! The Lincklaen House seems to be the locals' go-to for meetings, meals, and everything in between, and there was no shortage of activity on premises as I was in and out throughout the day. Staff were terrific from start to finish, and they even provided me a gift basket and complimentary bottle of wine upon my arrival. Coupled with the 2-minute walking distance to the Caz Campus and I couldn't possibly imagine a better place to stay in Cazenovia!

My plans for Mother's Day fell through on the Friday before Mother's Day. I called The Farm House…read morethat morning and was able to get reservations for four on Sunday morning at 9am. When my family entered the restaurant, we immediately like the rustic country decor. We were immediately greeted by a woman who confirmed our reservations and showed us to our table. The restaurant was quickly filling up and it took a few moments for a server to come to our table. After about 15-20 minutes it seemed like the staff got it going and food was coming out to tables and customers that ordered the Mother's Day brunch were getting their food quickly. My kids ordered the chocolate chip pancakes. One with game and one with sausage. My daughter is very picky with her pancakes and ate them all. I had the brunch. I had eggs Benedict, spinach omelette, ham and cheese omelette, bacon, fresh fruit, and two croissants. The food was delicious and fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to stopping by again.

I'm of two minds when it comes to writing this review. First, this b&b is AMAZING, and Mary (the…read moreowner/proprietress) is a wonderfully gracious hostess! However, I don't want to have to book a room 3 years in advance if this place gets really popular. With that said, Mary deserves the business and I like to see excellent venues succeed, so here we go! Booked a room here (Blue Notes,) while coming back for a friend's wedding. The house is beautifully appointed and very homey-feeling. (Would it be too weird to say that I kinda want Mary to adopt me? It's really that awesome here.) Special dietary requests (I'm vegan,) are graciously accepted, and Mary really went out of her way to accommodate me! Really, I'd have been happy with granola and almond milk, but she went the extra mile! One of the other ladies that was in the room next door likened the place to a college dorm -- which is sort of apt. No loud parties or obnoxious roommates to contend with, but it's a very congenial and lovely atmosphere overall! Can't say enough good things about this place!
