So I turned to Yelp to help me find someone. My fellow Yelpers did not let me down. Based on all the positive reviews, I found Ken with Awesome Appliance Repair. He was very responsive. Called me back within a couple of hours of submitting my request form for service. He was out at the house within a couple of hours of the phone call. Ken was able to diagnose the problem and fixed it almost immediately. My dryer is humming quietly again. Ken is very professional. He shared with me what the problem was and informed me he would check out the machine to see if there were potentially any other issues and then, if needed, would revise the estimate so I could make a decision from there. Luckily, no other issues with the machine. Will definitely be calling him again if the need arises again. Very satisfied customer.

Lately we have had two occasions to have some home appliances serviced. One was for a range hood…read morethat was not installed correctly (hanging at an angle) and the other was for some noises our dryer was making. We used Home Depot's Pro resources to get referrals for the range hood issue and ended up using Delta Appliance Repair. They were very helpful and clearly knowledgeable. They were able to resolve the problem that a couple of other appliance service companies did not want to touch. They did fix the problem which involved access to the attic and now the hood hangs straight and its mounting is very solid. In addition, they were very diligent in resolving the problem and did an excellent job cleaning up once the job was done. On top of that their fee for the work was very reasonable. When our dryer started making some thumping noises a few days ago we called Delta Appliance Repair again. They came out and in a couple of hours discovered the problem (a roller with a flat spot) and got the required parts to repair it. They also removed a lot of built up lint in the dryer's exhaust path, so the dryer should work even more efficiently now. Again, they did a great job cleaning up when they were done, and again their fee was very reasonable. We are very happy with the service they have provided us and will not hesitate to contact them again should we need any appliance repair.

Every once in a while, we need something fixed in our homes, and you know that feeling of having to…read morepossibly scramble to find the right person for the job?! I've done the hard research for you. The part easily could have been ordered directly from the manufacturer, but unfortunately, the manufacturers customer service department was impossible to deal with, which forced my hand to find someone local. This particular part absolutely is something I could have done without a repair person but here we are. Yelp has a project feature, so if you haven't used it before it definitely is a tool that works. You search for the service that you need, and what needs to be done, answer a couple of very easy, quick questions, and then click the button for estimates. Next thing you know, you'll be receiving text messages, phone calls, and all of a sudden you were going to be everyone's best friend. Depending on the service that you need, this will either be incredibly helpful, or make you feel overwhelmed. Needless to say, after speaking with more than a half a dozen appliance repair companies, and being put through the ringer and bombarded with phone calls and pushy people either demanding I'm making an immediate appointment, or refusing just to have a conversation with me, I decided on Top 1 Appliance. Here's why: They were absolutely the most reasonably priced for the service call and the work that needed to be done. They were not pushy on any level, and that made a huge difference. They were willing to come out the same day if I had time at no additional charge, or my case found another day that works for both of us. I knew this would be an easy and quick repair, and less than 20 minutes, the repair was made, and the repair tech was paid and on his way to his next job. The only thing that made me uncomfortable was that I had wanted the old parts left, and the tech wasn't willing to do that which did not make sense. Top 1 is incredibly easy to deal with, and I should also add that they reached out to me before the repair, they simply asked if I had found someone or if I still wanted their help. Seriously that easy.

This week we called Crystal again for another washing machine service, This machine is over 20 years old now, and my wife and I wanted to verify if it was time to replace it versus repair it. Crystal and her husband verified the issue we experienced was from something very minor and explained it. Morever, they showed me where to look in the odd event the issue returns months down the road so we could take care of it and save a service call. Much appreciated!
