Keven came out to fix our samsung refrigerator because it stopped making ice cubes. Keven diagnosed the part needed to be fixed and ordered it. It was a valve. Then he came out when the part arrived and installed it. The icemaker still didn't work so Keven ordered the part again as he has a 90 day warranty. When the part arrived, Keven came back out and replaced it. The Icemaker now makes ice. We have been calling Keven for a few years now. Any time one of our appliances needs a fix, he's our go-to guy. I called a few places and I stopped here because of the reviews. Sometimes the reviews I find to be just lies that the person has offered to their customers for discounts etc. but not in this case. They were super friendly and got the job done for a more than fair price. I needed the drum of my washing machine to be taken out and cleaned. It was leaving mold and scum in everything. Thank you April for answering our call and immediately responding!! We received our appointment with Kevin on their first opening! Yes they are busy BUT SO WORTH THE WAIT!!! On the day of our appointment Kevin was an hour and a half early. He said he had completed his other calls early and wanted to use his time to offer us the opportunity for the early slot! Yeah!!! Kevin was great. On time and he knows his business. Diagnosed and fixed my freezer in short order and gave me advice on my stovetop for no extra charge. Trustworthy is the key here - I've had other shoos out in the past and it ends up with multiple repairs because they misdiagnosed the issue or seemed to want to make extra off me. I called Last Stop Appliance Repair a couple of months ago when our year old top of the line overhead microwave stopped working correctly, and I made it worse by trying to diagnose/fix the problem on my own. I felt sick when I researched the cost of replacing my unit and discovered it was well over $700.00. The unit was just out of warranty. Keven answered my call and stated he could come out first thing the following morning. Keven arrived at my house at the time we had agreed upon. He looked over my microwave and within minutes was able to diagnose the problem. He provided me with a very reasonable quote for the repair, which I agreed to, and he was done in less than an hour. He explained the repair process, showed me the faulty part, and took the time to test the microwave a number of times to make sure it was operating correctly. Once finished, he asked if there was anything else I had for him to look at since he was already at my house. I showed him a mini-fridge that the front door had come loose on, and he fixed it in less than a couple of minutes. He stated he wouldn't even bill me for it since it was a simple repair. Keven displayed punctuality, honesty, trustworthyness, and an excellent knowledge of appliance repair. He advised me during his visit that he has a working knowledge of many small and large appliances, including televisions. I have used this appliance repair company many times before this review with no issues but this time it's just really bad business. On 12/19/22 just before Christmas, my washer started leaking, Keven came over and diagnosed that it needed a new transmission and the part could be ordered and come in a few days. My mistake was writing him a check for the entire invoice of $422.10. I waited until 12/27/2022 and I called to check the status of the part and got a text message response from who I assume to be his wife that the part was delayed and would be available for pickup on 1/1/2023 Well that's a holiday so nothing would be done until the next day. I responded that I couldn't wait any longer and would like to inquire about canceling the order and it was confirmed that the part order could be canceled. They offered to let me borrow a washer but I just wanted to get a new washer and dryer set at this point. So I waited for a refund of $352.10 since $70 was the service call fee. I text messaged again on 1/11/2023 about the status of our refund that we still hadn't received and did not get a response. I waited some more until 1/23/2023 and finally received a response that "Tim" was getting my refund ready and apologized for the delay and that it would be in the mail. 2/6/2023 Still no refund I text again with no response. My husband called on 2/27/2023 from his phone and spoke with the female and she again apologized that she has been busy and it's going in the mail today. It's 6/10/2023 and I still have not received a refund. I really hope that I can get my money back someday, it's really sad. There is no excuse to treat a good repeat customer this way. read more

This is long over due Review! Had some trouble with my box freezer and thank God Keven had the exact same one. It's was not getting cold what so ever! And finding someone in Elk Grove was a pain. That saying you get what you pay for? The door for my microwave would not open, So I called last stop appliance since they were the cheapest with all 5 star review. Kevin the owner shows up to my home with no mask and walk straight into our new home with his dirty shoe on. Like wth dude! After some time he took the microwave out of the cabinet and starts to remove the allan wrench screw with his pliers. I told him he should use an allan wrench since it was the right tool, and his reply was he couldn't find it at Home Depot. He then goes to tell Me the manufacture put the wrong screws on but manages to open the cover with his pliers. He figures out what was wrong with the door and tells me the part is $69 and would need to be ordered and it would be another service for him to fix it and it would be first week of October. So another $130 after I already paid him the initial service fee of $60. He threw away the 8 original screws that came with the microwave and replaces it with the 4 cheap silver one which wasn't event the correct size. I check the parts on the GE web and it sold for $24 with 2/3 day shipping. If you are looking for someone professional that knows what they are doing then AVOID THIS COMPANY at all cost. I would not recommend it to anyone. Save your money. read more
