Overall great experience. I based it off of yelpers reviews! The place was very clean and the workers were personable. Lots of carry out while we were there. We ordered taco and meatball mini pizzas. We also had salads from the bar. It's one trip unless you pay for unlimited and they have different size salad plate options. The salad options were decent and the quality was fresh. Was really good! Would definitely come back. We had the thin and crispy and that's what it was. Had pepperoni and it was plentiful.

Gambino's pizzas are pretty good although at times the toppings are sparse and in most cases, their pizza's are expensive. i find that the best experience is to go on Tuesdays in Gore (Wednesday in Checotah) for the Buffet which includes salad and a drink and it's all you can eat. the dining room isn't anything special, it's you typical pizza joint, and there really isn any table side service during buffet nights other than table cleaners. They also have phone ordering and carry out or delivery. i have never tried it because their prices are high to begin with. Their iPhone app is really worthless because you do not see the prices and you cannot order in Gore or Checotah via the app, so don't waste your time. read more

Buttery veggie Calazone & Deluxe spaghetti was great but you don't get the salad bar with the hearty pasta dishes but you do with the calzones which we thought was kinda weird but we will try the pizza next read more

We were staying at a nearby river location and this was the closest place to eat. There was no one there which was weird. However the staff as friendly and actually the pizza quite great. We did a chicken alfredo, fully loaded pizza and plan pepperoni. All cooked the perfection and good flavor. We also had the breadsticks which were great though they only gave one tiny dipping marinara sauce so that was a bummer once we ran out. The prices were a bit high considering you're in Gore but then again its eat here or the dollar general so you kind of pay the higher cost :) read more

Gambino's is a small regional chain. In Oklahoma, it is a deliberate choice unless you happen to live in Alva, Gore, or Ketchum. I don't, but I traveled to Gore based on the excellent reviews. I couldn't be happier with that decision. The pizza is reminiscent of Godfather's. (If I knew the corporate history, I would presume that there is some connection.) The crust is slightly chewy, yet thinner than most "hand-tossed" crusts. It also has a crispier "crust" to it for an interesting bite. The sauce is tangy and mildly sweet with a distinct tomato flavor--not overly seasoned. The ample layer of cheeses is placed over the toppings--as were Godfather's--making each bite a bit of a surprise. I ordered the lunch buffet, and each of the pies was done well--including the special requests that I made. There are no complaints about any of the food. And as good as the food proved to be, the employees are the true attraction here. Absolutely wonderful service. Exemplary. Above and beyond, the congenial staff guided me and my dinner companion to local attractions including a secluded fishing spot and the compendary of eclectic shops. I mean, it's Gore, OK. If you want good pizza, you have NO other choices. Therefore it's fantastic that Gambino's pizza is great. They have an Alfredo Chicken pizza which some pizza places still do not have. They also have a small salad bar but it's sufficient and is usually well stocked. Prices can be a tad high, but the pizza is excellent and for the convenience and living so far from modern civilization, it's totally worth it. read more

Was nervous after our experience at Soda Steve's, but this place was pretty awesome. I got a mini Polynesian pizza. A little greasy, but it's pizza, right? Definitely not super grease and blech. It was just a hair undercooked, but was still a great pizza. Boyfriend got a small meat cravers pizza. Holy cow, it was big! Definitely could have fed us both. And it was super packed with meat. They definitely aren't stingy with their ingredients. Girl who took our order was very nice and helpful. Oh, and the salad bar is small, but everything tasted and looked fresh. The girls in the evening are very rude well they have NO customer service skills thats for sure. Pizza was ok but it was like they just made it in a hurry and its NEVER cheap or do they have good deals. We stopped here during the middle of a terrible storm to ride it out.... Waitress was super friendly and helped us watch the weather. The electricity went out while we waited, so the pizza and salad buffet ended up being mostly salad. It was fresh and delicious! Again, it's pizza in Gore, OK, not in Chicago.
