I wrecked my poor Nintendo Switch's card reader a couple of nights ago, and instead of waiting months to send it to Nintendo to get a replacement unit, I was able to take it here and get it repaired in a couple of days for the same price. The owner of the shop (I believe their name is Gina going off other reviews?) was very lovely, and instantly understood what needed to be done to get my Switch's game card reader working again. What a disappointing experience. I've been trying to get my console repaired for weeks, and most electronic shops near me don't service consoles. I was relieved to find this place since it had great reviews and advertised repair services. Because I live pretty far, it's about a 40m drive for me but I decided it would be worth it. Unfortunately, I could never get anyone to answer the phone despite calling multiple times on different days during their listed business hours. What's even more frustrating is how inconsistent their hours are across platforms. Yelp, Google, and Apple Maps all list different information. The only consistent detail was that they're closed on Mondays. I finally had a day off and decided to make the drive on Tuesday (4/21), only to find the business closed. I arrived when it should've been opened. I ended up wasting nearly two hours driving there and back. It's honestly a shame because I wanted to support this business, but not updating hours or answering calls makes it really difficult for customers to rely on them. If a business can't keep its basic information accurate or be reachable, it shouldn't expect customers to trust it with their time or money. read more

Last in store refused to help me with my Nintendo switch. I am not game savvy due to being a girl who wasn't playing video games. I attempted to replace the joysticks myself because they were dirty and started to stick but I just not good at it. I brought it here to have someone to put it on for me and she refused and acted like it was too big of a job for her to do. She also tried to dismiss me by saying there are other people waiting in line that she needs to take care of, instead of helping me, who was in the store first when there was no one in line. I don't want to say it was racially profiled but I absolutely believe it played a part in her helping me. They charge $45 to provide footage of repair if they damage your device. They return it if it's their fault. I work with other peoples possessions for a living and couldn't conceive of a charge for proving our safe handling of said possession. Do with that information what you will. read more

Not exactly sure what's going on here. Previously I brought my switch in. Because it needed a new battery. They charged me $65 to replace the battery (they provided the battery) Ok cool. Fast forward to 6 months later. I brought in my PS Vita. Because one of the joysticks broke. They quoted me $95 to replace one joystick. $125 if I replaced both The worst part is I brought my own parts. I ordered new replacement joysticks and brought them in. And they still wanted $95. Which is insane. They must have thought I was dumb or was trying to rob me. No way I was going to be them $95. For ONE joystick replacement. And I supplied the part. I could buy another vita for $120. Why would I pay them $95? Just stupid all together I took the same vita and replacement joystick down the street and it was done for $30.. same day Never coming back here again. I enjoyed coming here in the past to buy games but now I won't be back. Today I came in to sell some games. Waited probably 30 minutes because the line was a bit long and each person took a lot of time, but I was patient at first because there was only one person working and I prefer going to small businesses. A guy came in line behind me after I had been waiting that long. He hadn't been there for more than 5 minutes when I finally got to the counter, and he abruptly asked the woman working if he could cut in front of me to do a quick pickup. She let him without hesitation. It wasn't a quick pickup because they kept talking and talking. I would maybe understand if I had tons of games, but I had less than ten. When they were finally done, she looked at all my games in under 5 mins and did not buy any of them. It was a much quicker transaction than the guy who cut in front of me, yet she still let him cut in front of me. I don't see how that's fair.
