No call during the wait, no warning, no authorization from me. They had installed a higher quality screen -- described as a technician error. I explicitly could not afford this. That is why I agreed to the $49 option in the first place. I did not request an upgrade. I did not authorize a price change. When I declined, I was asked to either wait longer while they reinstalled the original screen or return the next day. I had already waited 90 minutes and had neither the time nor the money for options I never agreed to. The final amount charged was $22. If this was genuinely an accident, the resolution would have been immediate and the original $49 honored without negotiation. Confirm your price in writing before leaving your device here.

And I told him I have a Samsung S9+ Edge at home that may need a new screen I actually bought one on ebay that I showed him, he said its non original and he will put decent one in for 115$. Ok so I went home and came back about 1-2 weeks later with the phone.. Now watch this..HE is in the back, sends him 10yr old son to help me.. And i told him your dad initially helped me with this, I'm not sure if you will know what to do.. The kid did a good job helping me and I was thinking about giving the phone to swap out the screen but had a necessary question if the present screen can be fixed from the go as it had a small tiny crack in it.. Keep in mind while that was happening a customer walked in and the dad immediately came to assist him completely ignoring my set of questions that his son was struggling with as he didn't help me originally.. Now when I started asking my last question to his son if the screens can just be fixed on my s9 +.. The Dad looked over at me very ANGRILY AND SAID ; " HEY WHAT DO YOU NEED. ?!!??". I Was kind of embarrassed at the tone I was spoken in and in front of his young son wanted to be a bigger person and simply said.. My iPhone 15 Pro charging port was damaged and Apple quoted me $680 to fix it! They will not change…read morejust the port, Apple will only change the entire "rear system" of your phone. If I had Apple Care, it would've been a $99 deductible. I paid less than that deductible cost alone for Empire to replace my charging port! 10/10, I would absolutely recommend coming here for this, and the charging port isn't something Apple looks at when you trade in a phone. I decided while I was there to get a new battery as well since mine was two years old and only charging to 79% of the original capacity. Cheaper than Apple AND the phone recognizes it as a genuine Apple battery. The technician was friendly, answered all my questions, and finished in less time than quoted. The business was also speedy to reply to my quote request.

I didn't know that I had to reset my phone to get the screen working so I was just stranded without my GPS in an area I did not know when my phone suddenly stopped working after I just paid to get it fixed two weeks ago. I fixed the front screen and the back screen. I somehow made it to their shop and the guy there told me that with the price I paid for the screen, (which he did not tell me until two weeks later when my phone stopped working is not the highest quality) and that this happens sometimes and I can pay $50 more to get a screen where this will not happen . I did say I was just fixing the screen to send my phone in and get an upgrade, but I was not told that this would happen, and it has happened multiple times since then where the screen stops working and I have to restart my phone. So I just think other customers should be aware of this. Definitely pay the extra $50 but that also seems like something they should've communicated when I purchased this.
