Horrible!!! My friend tried to return a Pokemon Trading Game and it was not even opened, still in the plastic, she had a receipt and they wouldn't accept the return. Their argument was that some people open the game, take out the good cards and rewrap it. My friend bought this for her daughter and then her daughter simply did not want it. This is not a customer friendly store. For The Journey Together pre-release they did last month, they kept the allotted stock of boosters Pokemon sends them for prizes for the people who participated so they could sell them. If that isnt bad enough, they started selling the most current PTCG set for more then double MSRP. Old sets, sure, do your thing. But when you over price the current sets, you are just Scalping your Customers. Wont go here every again. read more

The overall store is nice looking but their prices are enough to make you vomit. A minimum of a 100% markup on everything (singles, packs, decks). For 55$ you can walk to Costco and get the same Lord of the Rings precon that they want for 99$. Just another scalper store that needs to be shut down. read more

Store will increase the price of an already priced item during checkout.....if you're a collector, definitely go somewhere else to buy singles. There was a card in the case that was already priced, and I told the staff that I wanted to buy it. As I was checking out, the staff increased the price of the card ("sorry, this card just went up by $2.00, is that ok with you?"). Basically, the prices on things in the case don't matter, they will lookup TCG price and expect you to pay higher if the value increased at all. For context, the card was $31 and they tried to increase the price to $33. While $2 is not a lot, it's the principle of the situation in that store will not honor their own pricing. For extra context, given that the owner responded poorly and without empathy towards my Google review, let me clarify this. I was trying to complete some master sets, so I was looking for cards I didn't have...I wasn't trying to only buy underpriced items which the owner essentially thinks I was doing. At the store, I went through their binders, picked out cards I needed, the associate priced them on the spot, and I had no issues paying what they asked. My issue is that the if you put a price tag on something, honor the price. The card I'm referring to was one of at least 10 other cards that I already agreed to purchase. The owner or associate (honestly not sure who it was) felt that trying to shake out an extra $2 from a customer through increasing the price at checkout was cool, and honestly that's some shady business practices. As a store, if you're going to update prices when someone checks out, don't put prices tags on items, and don't complain that a customer asks you to honor the price tag that is on the item. Trying to justify "we don't have the time to reprice hundreds of cards daily" is just lazy and an excuse for trying to justify changing prices. Don't put prices on things if you're going to change the price later, and don't get mad at the customer when they call you out for not honoring your own prices. A lot of card shops don't put price stickers on cards for that very reason. read more

Came here today for some last minute Christmas shopping. I've been here several times and the staff are usually pretty condescending if you don't fit their typical clientele base. The only one who is consistently super helpful is the girl who works here! She's awesome and they need to hire more people like her. They have a huge selection of paint for their 40k models (pictured below) and they have a decent model selection as well. There is an entire wall of different versions of monopoly which is super cool to see! The majority of the merchandise is either 40k models, tabletop games, or Magic the Gathering cards. There is a room in the back where they host games as well which is pretty awesome. If you plan on paying with a card, just make sure you have your ID! They check ID with every card purchase, no matter the price. read more

Good place to shop Pokémon cards. Always honor the TCG player price. Something priced with $80 a month ago and went down to current price $50, the stuff was still willing to honor the market price. I use to come here for years to play games, was an amazing store. however recently they have started to go the way of the "scalper" store and start charging over MSRP for games like One Piece and more importantly Lorcana. charging over 2-3x for a pack, $25 for a $16 deck and troves and gift sets in triple digits. it's so sad to see a store that once had a healthy gaming community and was some of the best prices and deals now turn to over charging the players because they know stock is limited and needed to play the game read more

Excellent store and was super impressed with extensive Pokémon opened cards they had!!! My son was looking for unboxed cards and man, do they have them. 2 huge binders stacked and packed and an additional binder with more rare and elite ones. They also have a display case of super rares. This is EXACTLY what my son wanted. The guys were very helpful and patient with looking through the binders, so I do not know why people are saying the service is rude. I will return there for sure. read more

First off, let me say that my wife and I have been shopping here for well over a year. On Monday, 10/14/2019 around noon or so, my wife went into this store to ask if they had any of the Pokemon Hidden Fates card sets that have sold out pretty much everywhere. Never seen the guy before that was at the counter that day (not that that means anything, necessarily); he literally laughed at her and very condescendingly said "no. Try secondhand retailers" and shook his head a tad like she was silly for even asking. That was his only response. She came to me (I was in another store, as she was in Game ON! looking for my birthday present) and told me what had happened. So curiously, I walked in and asked the same guy about the same card set and he apologetically told me that they were out and weren't sure when they were getting more. It's funny how my female spouse can ask the same question as me, her male spouse, and get such a drastically different response. It stinks that such a misogynistic individual like this guy is working here, or anywhere for that matter. We will not be going back. If you support equality for all, this may not be the store for you. Side note: you can find all sorts of hidden fates boxes and Poke Balls at Fred Meyer Poke Centers in the greater Seattle area of King County. Solid play area for tournaments. Will not honor prices of cards on rack. Will not take time to update them. Will simply charge you market value upon interested in products. Poor business procedure. Either keep your products updated with prices and honor what you have them posted for. Buyers beware. read more

Took my son in this store searching for Pokémon cards. He was interested in a booster box. They guy told him it was $3.99 per pack or $129 for the whole box. My son wanted to check out another place in the mall so he said he'll think about it, but he was very interested in half the box (the guy said it was about $71). So about 15 min later we came back and he was ready to buy. The same guy told us he was just informed the price was wrong and it was actually $6.99 per pack. My son said he wasn't interested. Thanks guys for trying to screw over a 15 year old boy. If I could give you no stars then I would. We won't be shopping at that store ever. You lost out on a big sale because you decided to increase the price! read more

The guy that helped me was nice. Bought glue for my model and was told it would work for what I wanted. Took it home was not accurate at all. The product didn't suit my needs. Called to return it and I couldn't due to policy. I couldn't even get store credit. Which was bogus... wouldn't shop here again. read more

All in all, nice store. Pros: Nice selection of MTG singles and board games. Awesome and friendly staff. Ok prices. Cons: Ok prices can sometimes be high. They don't let MTG or card game players play in the back room unless there is a tournament. Wish they would open that up more often. read more
