I wanted an expert opinion and if they had good offers I would sell. They told me it would take a few hours to price them out and they would call me. I had to call them two days later for them to tell me they had not done it yet. About 3 hours later they called me. I went back and they gave me a flat offer for all of the cards. I declined and said I would be willing to sell any of them individually and we can talk about those prices. That's when the interaction went from negative to borderline aggressive. They were blown away that I didn't take their first offer and when I inquired about individual prices for each card they became very uncomfortable and told me they graded all the cards using a machine and it had cost them 3 hours of labor to do it. They offered to sell me the information for the value of my cards (I declined). They also gave me a speech about how they despise buying and selling cards and they only do it to keep the lights on. They said they're just interested in playing games and hanging out (understandable for a board game store). I left out many other slimy details of their greasiness in favor of brevity. Overall, I do feel bad leaving a scathing review of a small businesses but not as bad as I felt walking out of TerraCrux after interacting with them.

The staff are courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. You can tell everyone there cares about the hobby and loves what they do! As a customer I can feel that each time I stop by looking for product or even just to share my hits with them! They hold tournaments and are truly a vital part of the TCG community. I can't say enough great things about them. If you have stop buy check them out. They are the best!!!

Especially in these days with card shortages everywhere, these guys have pulled through. They were still working on their online shop when I went in, but that's ok! My first time walking in I was greeted by the sports card workers, and they politely showed me the side for Pokémon. Amazing!! Boxes and boxes of stocked up ETB's, promo boxes, and tins. It was just like being a kid again! The places was bustling on a Saturday evening, and there were many kids in the shop buying things as well. After a sale, I couldn't help but notice the sales attendant threw in some extra cards in for free! As well as for me once I told them it was my first time coming in! After some recommendations for a new collector, I walked out with a Celebrations ETB (Very hard to find for a decent price nowadays!) and a couple free card storage boxes as well. An amazing store, with an inviting atmosphere for new collectors and players alike!! Will highly recommend this store in the future!

This of course led my husband and I through a sea of nostalgia and the kids watching endless "card pull" videos. This was our first time at Metro, and my 6 year old son was lead by destiny to find the coveted "God pack" or golden Charizard (his words, not mine). While the kids "ohhh'd and ahhh'd" over the cards and played their hand at the claw machines - I asked the guy working for the info on the different packs. He was so patient and sweet to my 5 year old daughter who was a tad too energetic and excited, and the boys who acted as if we were looking at the answer to world peace through a glass case. He was full of knowledge, answered questions about uncommon Pokemon, and let my son pick out which of the Pokemon boxes he felt was "lucky". In a time where my kid has to compete with adults to even get the chance for a Pokemon machine to release a few items... always leaving empty handed because they emptied it out as he stood behind them in line... you made my kids day. Thank you Conner, for making our first trip there so special.

Several cards were significantly increased at checkout, in some cases by 50-70% or more. I understand that card values can change, but advertised prices should be honored or updated before customers make the trip. I ended up buying only a few cards and leaving many others because the prices were much higher than what was advertised. Please keep your online inventory and pricing accurate so customers know what to expect.

Unfortunately, since then, I have placed an online order, and have not been provided my product or my money for months now. I ordered in August, waited a week, called to ask where my product was, and was told "Oh, you missed our cutoff. Your order won't be shipped until September 15th". Weird, because I didn't see that when I ordered my product, but maybe I made a mistake. However, I found out a friend of mine ordered a day AFTER me, and wasn't cutoff and was able to pickup their order from the store the next week. So, this felt deceitful. I waited until the middle of September, and still had no product. I inquired with the owner. He stated that they were having issues at their store and sent it out the day before. So, again, I waited. Still, no product. I contacted the owner again. He tells me that there were some returned and he would check the following Monday. (I verified the address... no issues there, so I find this to be odd and untruthful). He made no contact that Monday, so I reached out again. I let him know I was disappointed and that a lot of this is absolutely not okay or appropriate. The manager/business owner, Jesus A., has not responded to me since the beginning of October of this year. Want to go in to address your customer concerns? Their business isn't open on the displayed hours, and good luck getting a call back to ask questions. I would have loved to give this place 5 stars, but I can not in good faith rate any higher than a one for a business owner that steals from his customers, and addresses reviews on Yelp (see the first one posted on 4/7...so unfortunate) with selecting "funny", instead of providing appropriate customer service. I encourage you to find a shop that will care about experience whether you are a first time customer or returning customer.
