My boyfriend had been following their Facebook page and was excited to see a retro game store close by as we usually drive to Super Smash Games. I love their name as I feel it leaves opportunities open for them to sell different things. They sell handhelds, consoles, all types of games from each generation, cards, and even plushes! The moment you walk in, you will be greeted with absolute positive energy from whom I believe is the owner. We came in during their very first opening day, but they were still working on organizing the shop as there were some complications during their renovation. Even so, this is one of the most organized and least claustrophobic retro game stores that I have visited (been to ones in California, Oregon, New York and Nevada). They did a superb job of utilizing their space to display their goods while also not making it a disorganized, cluttered mess. You can easily see their prices, which are probably the most legit and fair pricing that I have ever seen. Another plus is when you are ready to purchase something and they have more than one, they bring out both to let you pick one you like! That's a huge deal for me especially as a very picky collector, it is always so difficult to ask if I check each one to ensure I get the most mint condition or better paint job collectibles. My boyfriend scored a Breath of the Wild Zelda amiibo for an amazing price. The employees were professional and friendly! I was listening to the owner speak a kiddo who was gushing about Pokemon and the owner was actually listening and responding to the child in such a caring way. I have seen and met employees who could care less for their children customers and will give them a curt or uncaring response. However, the owner was complimenting the kid and helping him budget out his purchase. It was extremely wholesome and great to know they are truly kid friendly. I would highly encourage others to come by and support this family owned business as it seems like a true gem for gamers of all ages.

As a game collector, I'm always looking for those shops that carry the rare hard to find games. If you're looking for such a shop, that carry those rare hard to find games, Graham Games it's just a place for you. They say first impressions mean everything and they do in this case . The owner, Eric, greets everybody who comes thru the door. He and his coworker Ben are always quick to do this and make you feel at home when you walk in. No high-pressure sales but more of making you the customer feel right at home as you look through his inventory. The shop is not very big, but is very well organized. Games are separated by consoles, alphabetized and easily manageable to look through. They have a wide variety of games to choose from, from all the different consoles spanning all the different generations. They equally have consoles and handhelds for sale as well. The prices are extremely reasonable as well. The games and the consoles are cleaned and tested by him and his staff personally. They take a lot of pride in the way the shop is ran and taking the extra step to help each and every customer find what they're looking for. They have cases that have specialty items and rare collectibles as well . From Box sets to Amiibo's, controllers to figurines and yes, they even have an awesome selection of Pokémon cards as well. Not only do they sell games, consoles, figurines, and other things but they also purchase as well from you the customer. Offering you a fair price for whatever you're selling. So if you're looking to get cash for your old systems, games and other collectibles , you can bring them here to sell to them as well. Everything is so clean and well organized and they take really good care of everything they sell. The one thing that really sets them apart from everybody else.... Is the fact that they actually care about your experience. Not like other shops, trying to just make a sale, but more about trying to sell you what you're looking for for a reasonable price. So in conclusion, if you're looking for that rare game for your collection, console, figurine, Pokémon card or anything in between you'd be doing yourself a favor by coming to the shop because you'll probably find it.

Let me start this review by saying I ABSOLUTELY love this place, I go here all the time. I use it…read moreover gamestop. They have a pretty nice staff team, which is always nice. They have a great selection of new/used retro and modern consoles. And even bin of "As-is" consoles and gadgets which is why I keep coming back so much! But I felt incredibly inclined to make this review for 1 particular reason because it's something that needs to be acknowledged and I hope someone in the company sees this so they're aware and can help correct this issue. The quality control absolutely sucks here, I've purchased 2 items now this week where they were defective/didn't work. Now I understand buying pre owned you are more at risk for defects or damage. HOWEVER, I shouldn't be paying $40+ for a used PS4 controller with dirt and Cheeto marks on the outer shell. Takes 2 seconds to wipe that off for a paying customer. Secondly, I get home after purchasing this controller. Plug it in and it's drifting like crazy, just scrolls and scrolls and scrolls. It's like the staff team just accepted it from the previous owner and threw it on a shelf for the next lucky person to deal with it. A few days prior I bought a PS1 game from this store, excitedly got home to turn on my console and fire the game up to find out the game was damaged beyond repair. It would boot to the loading screen and that's it. Now, I know I should've checked this prior to leaving so I'll take that loss. BUT, they should be aware of what they are selling to the paying patrons of the store. I should not have to double check/do their work for them. I should be rest assured I'm getting quality used items/games from this store. If you own this company or you work for this company, please do us all a favor and pay more attention to the quality control of your items. If this happens to me again I'll be forced to stop supporting your business. These are incredibly easy things to fix. I shouldn't be going out of my way to consistently bring back defective items. It takes a few minutes to assure these items are working when put out on a shelve for a premium cost such as the $49 used PS4 controller. If this gets acknowledged I will adjust the current rating. This has been replied to and addressed: changed review from 3 stars to 5.

Honestly I don't know too much about gaming consoles and games, but I love playing guitar hero! I…read morecame here to get a couple games for my PS2 and they have a huge selection. The staff there was very friendly and I ended up having to return a game because it didn't work and they gave me the same discount on the second game that I'd gotten on the first one. Overall great experience both times, and it was around the holidays so they were busy and still made me feel welcome and appreciated!
