He doesn't seem to clean or test any of the inventory, but had a scenario where a game was defective and he let me swap it for something else. One thing of note is it's only open on weekends for a handful of hours, so just plan ahead if you want to check it out. Also make sure you have cash, as they don't accept card payments. Some decent prices on most games are generally around PriceCharting (owner always doublechecks on that if he didn't mark it up yet, but will give better prices than what's on there so that's great). While the store is tiny and a bit cramped, the owner seems to really pack in a ton of merchandise. Lots of used DVDs for $1, CDs, nicknacks and a tidy little corner of games. Game-wise, for the most part, you'll find plenty of the typical games circulating the retro market (lots of sports and children's titles) but we did manage to find a couple gems for a very reasonable and affordable price. (Especially after checking their market prices online shortly after.) The owner was super sweet and helpful even asking what type of games we were looking for. Since she rotates her inventory often I feel like if we were frequent customers in the area, we'd score some really great finds.

One of my Son Luke's first words was "Bowser" Well we already have two Different Bowser plushes so I got him One of the Koopa kids . Fair price for how rare they are . I saw the YouTube video of the guy looking for a Morton Koopa junior plush only to see they had one and it was not for sale. Well they restocked Morton so I got one My wife bought me a very nice and glossy looking Super Mario bros 3 sign for me to hang in "The Dave Cave" All in All it was an excellent experience with a super chill and patient clerk. I could tell by the look on his face that something was about to "come up". I immediately turned to one of the two store employees and said "we need to use the rest room really fast". He looked at me and said "we don't have public restrooms". I told him that my grandson was sick and about to throw up "any second". Mind you, my grandson had his hand covering his mouth. The urgency was obvious. Again the employee said "we don't have public restrooms but Metro Pizza next door does". We immediately headed for the door. Just as I began to open the door he barffed inside all over the floor right at the entrance/exit. Sweet, sweet karma! Listen, guys at Games to Gold, I understand policy but sometimes ya just gotta bend the rules a little. This was one of those times. Maybe next time you'll think and won't have a mess to clean up.

I'm so glad we checked out Game King in Fall River, because even though it seems unassuming, I am sure this is going to be the place to be once we can get back in the groove of tabletop nights! I could have spent hours here meandering around the winding aisles, chock full of hard to find comics (they even had some early releases!), tabletop figurines and paints, die of every shape, size, and color, and unique merchandise that I've only seen online for three times the price. As a huge Magic the Gathering nerd, I was delighted to browse through their wide array of Planeswalker Funko Pops, including the Nissa Revane figurine that I have been desperately trying to find! I think these went out of circulation a few years back, and the only place I've seen them was on Ebay for upwards of fifty bucks. Not so at Game King, where they were reasonably priced, and of course, it's awesome to support a great small business like this one. The clerk was friendly and very attentive - I appreciated the personalized attention, willingness to answer questions, and for lack of a better term "geek out" with me about the Magic The Gathering fandom. I look forward to playing here when it's safe to do so again. I'll be back!

We are always looking out for new tabletop game stores to check out, and happened upon this one while driving down South Main in Fall River. The place is a little messy, and seemingly disorganized. It doesn't seem to bother most of the gamers in there, or my fiance though. My neat freak self didn't like that lol. The staff seemed very nice, informative and friendly. They did have a great selection of games and collectibles, and if they don't have something, they will be able to order it for you. My fiance enjoys coming here, even to look around. I know they offer game nights and tournaments, not up my alley, but those who enjoy that would love it here! Every time I walk into the store, I am greeting by an associate and asked how I am doing and if I can be assisted at all (even at peak times where customers are almost shoulder to shoulder). For a 'smaller' location, Reality A Games has a strong variety and selection of cards, games, collectibles, video game systems, and they even host tournaments. Reality A Games has something for every one of all ages and interests. Currently, I am primarily into retro games only, and I do not have much experience with cards, but from my experience I have noticed there are always customers inside the shop playing Magic the Gathering, and they seem to really enjoy the atmosphere that Reality A Games has created. For years, I have been hunting down big name titles, and smaller name titles across many different generations of systems at Reality A Games. Every time I visit, there is always new games and/or systems that I did not see on my previous visit. The staff here are always happy to help me find what I am looking for, and if they do not have it in stock, they give me great tips on where I can find certain titles and if they may expect it in store soon. From customers coming in to part with their collections, to customers chasing that nostalgia of games they played growing up, Reality A Games and the devoted staff approach you with nothing but the best customer service you have ever experienced in these past few years of retail business.
