Although they had some great specials including spicy tacos I chose the burger with bleu cheese and bacon. I chose the side to be posole soup. The burger was huge and omg...so juicy( and messy..lol). We waited about 5 minutes at the front door before anyone greeted us. The hostess eventually came out from the back and apologized for the delay as she seated us. The manager was visible behind the bar but seemed unaware of the flow in the restaurant. With the dining area half full, there was just one server on the floor. After being seated, we waited another 8 minutes without anyone stopping by to greet us or bring water. Other customers around us were also experiencing long waits for service and food. A small crowd started forming at the entrance with no additional staff coming up to help, while the manager continued helping at the bar. Look, sports bars don't need to be fancy, but basic competence matters. This place had zero urgency, zero accountability, and zero care for customers. The manager's total disconnection from what was happening in the restaurant was especially frustrating. It felt like the team was understaffed and stretched thin, and there wasn't much proactive attention given to guests. I'd suggest trying another spot if you're looking for a reliable experience.

The latest promotion was this Big Easy menu, sort of a take on Cajun Now Orleans themed food. My super fave dish, the Cajun sauced chicken with andouille sausage over penne pasta with a nice mix of green and red bell peppers and onion was my go to dish, priced at just $11.99. Now that I guess that promo had ended, the same dish is now $18.00! Gezees that's a big ass price hike. Not worth $18 in my book! Some of the other items on the former menu didn't go up, but were kinda pricey already, like the sizzling shrimp and chicken with mashed potatoes at around $18.50. It's still the same price. All I can say is the saving grace is the Really Big Meal Deal is still available, though, not listed on the table menu. You have to ask for it. I got that $9.99 deal with the big bacon cheeseburger and endless fries along with a refillable drink. That's a deal compared to the rest of the menu. My friend had a new dish called the Tex Mex bowl with shrimp and chicken. That was around $15.50 ... not super bargain, but I guess those are all gone these days. My friend actually like that dish a lot. My burger was fantastic as usual, lots of bacon and cheese and a decent sized patty. I even got some fries extra to go. Refilled my drink too. Applebee's is not quite the super bargain deal it once was, but at least they still have the 1/2 off happy hour appetizers from 3pm - 6pm everyday, not just weekdays!

He said it didn't have a heavy milk based taste and not really creamy but very chocolaty. The server for the gelato was very friendly and let me taste first. I would stop here again even if I didn't have an EV car to charge.
