The owner puts up Groupons for people to purchase but then refuses to actually book appointments. She said they only take walk-ins for Groupon customers, and if she's busy, she just won't take you. When I asked, "Okay, so when are you available?" her answer was basically, "We're never available right now." I then asked, "So how am I supposed to use my Groupon?" and she told me to just keep coming by every day until she decides she has time. That has to be a joke. So according to her, I'm supposed to waste my time and gas driving there day after day on the off chance she might feel like honoring something I already paid for. When I told her this felt like a scam - selling Groupons that customers can't realistically use - she didn't seem to care at all. Save your money, your time, and your sanity. There are plenty of other places that actually respect customers and honor what they advertise. This one is absolutely not worth it.

The massage itself was very good and relaxing. The reason for the 4-star rating is the tipping interaction afterward. I left my usual $20 tip, which I've done in the past without any issue. This time, I was asked to leave a higher tip, around 25%. I politely declined, but the request continued. I asked how much I should tip and was told it was up to me. When I said I was comfortable with $20, a $30 tip was then requested. I felt this was rude and uncomfortable, and it took away from what should have been a relaxing experience. It also made me think twice about coming back and consider looking for another place. I also noticed another review mentioning a similar issue, and the business responded by saying that tips are completely voluntary. That was not how the interaction felt during my visit. I believe tipping should be voluntary and not something customers feel pressured about. I hope management addresses this, because the quality of the massage itself is good and I would like to continue coming back.

Shortly after walking through the door, things took a turn. I was given the intake form which I completed. Then I was told, I had to pay before my services were even started. The woman at the front told me she would "maybe be leaving early" because she had "stuff to do." She said you normally pay after but I would be paying before. Worst case scenario, I was racially profiled and made to pay early. Less worst case scenario, I was still treated differently than normal and as a first time guest. I wasn't offered any refreshments or anything. I stuck it out because my boyfriend put thought into it, but the experience was ruined before it even started for me. I hoped the massage would make up for it...it didn't. My door was left open which is weird considering I had no clothes on and the massage was just alright. Once completed, the masseuse left the room with my door open again for me to have to get up nearly naked to close it so I could get dressed. I turned on the lights to see the satin pillow topper that was removed once I turned from lying on my stomach to my back during the massage was on the floor. I'll include a picture of what I saw and was lying on. I quickly got dressed and made my way to the exit where a choir of employees started the "excuse me, excuse me!" chant as if I was running out without paying. If you're going to make me pay ahead of time, communicate that to others so I'm not accosted while trying to leave. All and all, I won't be coming back and I don't know how they have good reviews.
