I want to cry! But tears of relief. I have been to many massage places before, and don't get me wrong they all have been great. This time though it was on a different state of physical wellbeing. I had injured myself about 4 days prior and I couldn't get full range of motion on my left arm, I tossed and turned for 4 nights in pain. Trust me , I had already seen a doctor and nothing broken but possibly just the soreness from the injury. I was hesitant to go in and have a massage as my arm hurt so bad I didn't want anyone or anything bothering with it. It is Mother's Day weekend and my husband said to me, " It's Mother's Day weekend you deserve a massage!" I booked a 2 hour massage online , one for my husband as well. We both got there and even though we had different times, the nice ladies were able to accommodate both of us to try and finish our massages earlier than booked and pretty much closer in time. I did not give any info on what had happened Lisa my massage therapists only asked " Do you want medium pressure or deep?" I said medium . Lisa along the way of the massage must have realized what was going on with me that she truly worked on my left side of my upper body meticulously. This lady was and is in my book the best massage therapist I have ever encountered! And I've been through many different places both nationally known and those small business alike. I walked out of there crying! Not of pain but of relief! I had regained my full range of motion all over my body . I HIGHLY recommend this establishment . It is peaceful, clean, quiet and the staff is very attentive of your personal needs. I'm definitely coming here once a month to adjust my body . Regarding tipping, my husband nor I ever got asked or requested to tip anything, but as a conscious customer and person that I AM, I will and have recognized peoples hard work in providing a service, let's just say I tip accordingly, I was never asked how much, I am just conscientious enough to know when someone is truly giving their best service. I will not say how much I tipped as it's not a bragging game or post. I just say this to anyone, we all go day in and day out to our jobs and give it our best, it's nice to be recognized for doing so. And yes! I've been to Serenity Massage several times and have always had good experiences, which is why I've returned and previously left a great review. This was my fourth visit with my wife. The massage itself was very good and relaxing. The reason for the 4-star rating is the tipping interaction afterward. I left my usual $20 tip, which I've done in the past without any issue. This time, I was asked to leave a higher tip, around 25%. I politely declined, but the request continued. I asked how much I should tip and was told it was up to me. When I said I was comfortable with $20, a $30 tip was then requested. I felt this was rude and uncomfortable, and it took away from what should have been a relaxing experience. It also made me think twice about coming back and consider looking for another place. I also noticed another review mentioning a similar issue, and the business responded by saying that tips are completely voluntary. That was not how the interaction felt during my visit. I believe tipping should be voluntary and not something customers feel pressured about. The massage itself was wonderful, but the checkout experience with Nala left me very uncomfortable. When it was time to pay, I told my therapist, Nala, that I would be paying in cash. She quoted the amount due and then brought up tipping. I left a $10 tip, but she repeatedly pointed to the length of the massage (90 minutes) and insisted that I should give more. When I explained that tipping is optional and that I had already left a tip, she continued to pressure me, making the interaction awkward and uncomfortable in front of other clients. I appreciate good service and was happy to leave a tip, but no customer should feel pressured or guilted into giving more money. Tips are optional, not mandatory. As a first-time customer, this experience left a negative impression and made me hesitant to return or request the same therapist again. Additionally, the rooms were not as soundproof as advertised, and loud music from the neighboring business could be heard during the massage. Have been a few times and the massages are great. Giving 4 starts because we got couples massage, both of us asked for extra (aromatherapy oil for me and CBD oil for him) but they did not use any of the oils on us. We figured they just forgot but The masseuses still charged us for the oil afterwards. A total of $30 was added on for oil, that we did not get. I recommend this place for massaged but i will not be adding and do not recommend asking for add ons or oils. read more

I came here for a couples massage and left feeling highly satisfied. The massage was amazing. The prices are fair. 1 hour massage was $60. The place was clean, the staff were friendly and their skills were excellent! Definitely will be back every month. read more

I've been here a few times already and I always leave relaxed and refreshed! Everyone is always nice and courteous. The massages are amazing. The price is so good for the type of massage you get. The rooms are always clean. I used to go to another massage place but I've switched to this one and haven't looked back. I believe Cindy is the one that always greets me when I come in.
