Polyhedron is a wonderful store! The staff are friendly and engaging and have a real passion for games. They stay open late and host a variety of regular game nights. The store has a wide selection of games from TTRPG to board to card. You'll find Pokemon, Magic, DnD, Shadowrun, Star Wars, and much more. And the accessories! They have their own branded products, which I found an excellent business model. On my next visit, I want to come over one evening and play a game with these fun people.

They traded me a fake Pokemon card, when I brought it to their attention they asked me to come back…read morethe next day. When I did come back today they told me to leave. This was a $30 card at the time I bought it and now worth around $45. I had simply asked if they could rectify with another card of similar value to $30. Full story: I traded in my Gengar Vmax for a Rayquaza V with Eli. That card ended up being fake/ counterfeit. I tried to go back and see if they could fix it for me, they refused, the manager Chris acted like it's impossible because he's 15 years in the business. He said he "wanted" to fix the issue but said he was not going to give me a card of equal value and offered no solutions because he said he could tell I was frustrated. I think anyone who finds out they traded a real card for a fake one would be frustrated, after essentially being told they must be lying. I never cursed, and although I do have a loud voice in general, I never raised my voice at them. Since Chris looks at every Pokemon card himself before it gets put on the shelf (as he told me himself), and he never misses one, I'm left to think they must be intentionally selling off decent quality fakes trying to scam people who don't know any better. Can't speak for magic but I'd recommend not trusting any Pokemon cards from here. Don't be like me, always check cards with a flashlight even at game shops. In response to the stores remark: Since their trades have no receipts or documentation. They leave you with no way to verify on purpose so they don't have to accept any liability. Also, if I was the one trying to scam the shop, it would be for a lot more than $30. There are better card shops in town, I'll have to avoid this one I guess over a measly $30.

Pretty new to Arizona. Came from Southern California which hosts Frank and Sons ( for those who do…read morenot know what that is, it is a huge warehouse of anime, collection, card vendors). Used to go there quite often to get anime figures and cards and was quite nervous moving to Tucson, until I walked into Otaku Nation. My first visit was last week, but within one week, I have visited 5 times and brought over 5 other individuals that have the same passion I have. The first day I walked in, I was greeted by the owner. It is not every store that the owner puts what he is doing down, stands up, to greet you, and ask you what you're looking for. Jeremy ( sorry if I spelled it wrong), proceeded to develop a personal relationship with me and that is the community we need to encourage. Everyday that I have gone to this store, I have walked away with something. I'm hoping we can make this small shop into something bigger, a community that drives and supports each other. I was able to get my first Digimon TCG box here for a steal compared to what other places are marking them up for. The reason for the low pricse was probably reinforced by the idea of building a group of people that will entertain playing Digimon in this store rather than making a profit. They hold product and spots at events for people who show up to locals. I had to pay extra for a set of op 13 and the cashier said "come to locals and we can give you a discount". I then explained my situation and she replied. "Oh...". I've talked with the owner about what I can do and he is dismissive and unapologetic. The girls who work there are nice but the manager doesn't seem to care about new customers. I finally got off early for the OP17 pre release event, which I signed up for, and was told to leave because the event was full. He mentioned the TCG page had bugged and there was also a lottery I was not aware of. "Try again next time" is an answer I'm quite tired of hearing from their manager. Love the premise of the store and that they give the community a place to play, just wish I could join.

They have everything you can imagine for games: board games of every kind, massive selection of RPGs and supplies, an area to play games, and soon an entire section devoted to cosplay sales and accessories. They're open and welcoming to all ages, genders, orientations, whatever. That being said, anything I've ever needed they've been able to get within a very short period of time. They have a great stock of store copies of games to play and always have a lot of events planned on their calendar.

You can bring your own game to play with others or use one of the store games. Usually the games that the store has that we can play they have in stock to buy there that day. Not only will you be garenteed to see people play magic but there are people there that play DND and there are a few different game systems that people can play for free.
