Upon arrival, we saw a "greeting table" with a QR code to view the menu and order in addition to some local advertisements. We ordered popcorn chicken to go ($7.99 plus $0.25 extra charge for to-go orders) via the online menu before taking a seat. The menu specified that there would be 200 g of popcorn chicken in the order. A few people were working on laptops at a long table and some used the PCs available to rent for a fee. The cafe was mostly quiet as customers seemed enthralled in their work/games. You could hear the occasional chatter or reactions of the gamers, but this was not very frequent or loud during our visit. Our order was ready within 10 minutes and was packaged in a to-go box. The staff brought the order to us and we left shortly after. I was a little disappointed by the popcorn chicken. I expected more "traditional" popcorn chicken, perhaps seasoned with garlic powder, pepper, salt, basil, etc. However, the taste and shape of the popcorn chicken differed from what you would usually receive at a boba shop. This popcorn chicken order resembled dino nuggets rolled into crispy, mini balls. I am glad I kept and have a Silicon Valley Comic Con hooded jacket. I got to meet the late Stan Lee and the late Adam Wear. I got to meet Burt Ward, William Shatner, Ray Park and Temuera Morrison at this con. It is too bad that this con ended; fortunately, Galaxy Con has taken its place.

Games are organized alphabetically, with clear sections for each manufacturer, making your hunt for your latest video game obsession as easy as possible. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, with a lot of knowledge on the games they're offering if you have any questions. Prices seem pretty reasonable as well! Retro gaming can get expensive. I wouldn't say Phoenix Games is a bargain, but they're definitely not out to nickel and dime you from my experience. Overall, I'm always stoked to stop by when I'm in the area -- whether just to browse, or because I have a specific title in mind.
