    Chicken Curry & Rice

The owners were very kind and friendly. It's a nice cozy place to hang out and play games, with good food as well. The lady that made my chicken curry was so sweet and gave me watermelon on the side.

Came in at around 9pm. Workers said they usually close at about 10 but stayed open an additional hour for our benefit at the drop of a hat. Very warm and accommodating. Felt like spending the night at an old friends house. - Chance G.

We just hosted my brother and sister-in-law's baby shower here, and it was such a success! The Kin Games establishment is a family owned business, and not only were they accommodating and easy to work with, but their prices were very competitive and they were just the kindest people. The venue itself was enormous and was able to host our 50+ people, with tons of additional room if we needed it for more guests, who were comfortably seated in the café area. From a gaming cafe, astonishingly, the food was also quite tasty - I would highly recommend the chicken curry over rice dish. Also, most of the tapas and appetizers like the potstickers, tapas, and scallion pancake were also a hit. The games were also entertaining enough for our young guests, even one of my nephews enjoyed the virtual reality station in the back. Ambiance-wise, the venue is a bit eclectic but all of our photos turned out amazing. The lighting in there is superb day or night, cathedral ceilings were a wow factor, and the large windows brought in natural light. Cynthia, the manager was very communicative during the whole entire process, and they made everything seamless, straightforward and easy. The owner, Cynthia's father, even helped us out during the set up of our party. Cynthia's mom, the chef, also went the extra mile and gave some of the children there a few flower crowns as a parting gift. This family is beyond generous, kind, and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this establishment for parties or gaming needs.

kin/games is awesome! The owners were so kind and friendly, the food was tasty, and there was a selection of 75+ games or so. Great for a low key night with friends or family. We paid $5/person to play board games and there was no minimum spend for food/drinks. I appreciate them color coding the games from green (easy) to red (more difficult). Street parking or lot parking nearby. This is the kind of business I want in my community!

This gaming cafe is wonderful. It's spacious, they have big tables for boardgaming, the food is great, and the staff are very sweet. My board game group met here. The cafe has a well-curated board game selection. I was really impressed with the Spanish omelet and the coffee. Our food was delivered by a robot! They also have videogame stations.

I absolutely love the server, they are both so sweet and nice! The space in there is very big too. Gives you enough space for a party.

Do you guys still have pcs available for gaming? Like for games on steam

Hi, Tuguldur. Yes, we continue to have 8 really nice gaming PCs available for an hourly fee! Steam already installed.

Hello! may i know how fast the internet ping, upload and download speeds are? thank you in advance :)

Hi, Loki. We're at about 60 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload, with a ping of 23ms. Ping does, of course, vary across games, but the majority of big games are on average at sub-60ms response times.

Can I plug in my switch?

You can! We have two of our own Switches, but we also have two more empty docks just for others to plug in their own.

    How many PCs are available?

Hi, Derek. We have 15 PC stations and 4 console stations available.

Neighborhood Coffee is one of my favorite cafes in all of the Bay Area. Just don't tell anyone…read morebecause I want it to be one of our best kept secrets. Shhhh...! (It was worth the 13 mile drive for me.) With floor to ceiling windows welcoming in the comfort of daylight and warmth of Californian sunshine (thank you A/C), this cafe sits high above Castro Valley overlooking the distant hills and the bay, depending on where you sit. It's in the front space of a church and upon walking in (my third visit), I feel held by the Lord. Strangely, I'm feeling tears well up because this is the exact sort of space I've been needing as I go through some challenging life circumstances. It is peaceful here but it also has a vibrant community energy on a Thursday late morning. This space is welcoming to all of the bay are community and if you didn't know it was a church, you would never know. It's for the whole neighborhood and beyond. There are tall round tables, bar tables, normal round tables, armchairs at tables, long barnhouse style tables. This space was thoughtfully curated to allow for relationships to be grown, work to be done, and quiet time to be experienced. The Americano I had is nice and strong (whoowee... I'm awake now!). They had interesting drink options and some baked goods. Prices were average for the Bay Area. I love that the cafe supports community outreach. From the web, it partners with this church and community programs. It seems to operate around community support and social impact initiatives. I love that they actively support Inclusion & Autism awareness and medical debt relief (WOW!). This is a cafe that is doing it right!

Service just ended so a lot of cars were leaving as we arrived. Don't recommend getting in line right after service because I waited over 30 minutes just to get two drinks. The lavender lemonade was very refreshing and not too sweet. The matcha latte on the other hand tasted watered down, so I could barely taste the matcha, super disappointing. It was a nice and sunny day so we decided to sit outside. The inside was very spacious, but I was overstimulated from all of people talking, especially when I was waiting in line. A good spot to stop by to grab a drink and enjoy the view outside if you're in the area. Glad I meet the time to check this place out.

They also offer a variety of pastries, desserts, and sandwiches, so there's something for everyone to enjoy. The prices are very really reasonable. Most pastries are $3-6, and the drinks are in the $4-7 range depending on the size. This is better than most other coffee and tea shops, especially in the Bay Area!! As for the interior, there's lots of seating, and every time I visited there are many people studying or working on their laptops. The music isn't too loud, but sometimes locals are chatting pretty loudly (so studying and working here is hit or miss). My only criticism (which isn't every time) is the speed of service when it's busy. The staff is always friendly, but it often looks like there are only two or three people working. Because of that, sometimes it can take longer for an order to be ready, and I once received my "warmed up" pastry a little cold since they probably forgot about it and were working at the cashier counter or making drinks. Overall, I definitely recommend Suju's if you're looking for an affordable coffee shop with lots of menu options and a place to study or work on chill assignments and projects.

This time I had the poblano panini, so full of flavor. We also got the queso egg tacos the blue tortilla is perfect with such robust flavor. Unfortunately I didn't get there in time for the mochi donuts, but I did have the mochi elote cake. Wow, so good. I had to get another slice to go. The brownie cake is rich and moist. The parfait was fresh, with fruit and a honey drizzle. The lavender cookie was delicious, with a very unique flavor profile The only miss was the fresh toast it seemed a bit overcooked. The inside has a very open-concept, modern vibe that feels clean, comfortable, and welcoming. There's a good amount of seating indoors, along with some outdoor seating and umbrellas if you want to enjoy the nice weather. The food and drink menu is fairly extensive, and prices are on the moderate side, so it's worth taking a look at all of your options to find something that fits your taste and appetite. Everything I've tried so far has been tasty, satisfying, and filling. If you're dining in and order their house drip coffee, they provide a coffee mug, and the coffee is self-serve along with the available extras. If you decide to take your drip coffee to go, just keep in mind that they only offer one size of to-go cup, and it's not particularly large. If you prefer a bigger cup of coffee, you may be a little disappointed. The staff have always been friendly, welcoming, and professional during my visits. With all of the other options available in Livermore, this is definitely a place worth checking out if you're looking for a good spot downtown to grab some food and a drink.
