Great place. I've been coming since they had the benches out front (ifyky) and the old San Jose location. Always had a good time at Euphnet over the years. It's definitely improved from the previous ownership years ago. Even then, it was always enjoyable. There is a reason it's one of the few gaming cafes to survive over the years. Simply one of the best I have attended throughout the country as I frequently travel. Definitely better (and cheaper) than the barcade type of places that are becoming popular where gaming is not the main attraction. A local Sunnyvale institution worth checking out. Place has a lot of different types of games, it's pretty loud but they have other quiet rooms, the keyboards not very good for fps they are full sized and are the rubber switch type, the monitors had some ghosting too but in the end I found that I played the best here because there's not much traffic on their network. We're all a great time. I came and visited with my girlfriend, and there was a very calm and welcoming present. It was our first time signing up and it was relatively easy and quick. There was a huge snack selection, and they even had fresh bottled Boba drinks in a refrigerator. plenty of computers to choose from and plenty of games to access. Because it was our first time going to this café, the person at the front desk awarded us an extra few m minutes to get signed in and adjusted. This is my 1st time here. It's a friendly environment. Love that they have $15 day pass on every Wednesday. Great snacks selection because I love Nongshim noodle soup. They have 3 different ramen noodle brands for the player to choose. They have Halloween costume contest with several wining prizes. I learned that they have printing service, so un case if you need to print anything in the middle of the night. They charge $0.25/ page until 2am in the morning. I love going to Euphnet to play tournaments. The staff is friendly and the local community is great. They have a nice selection of drinks and snacks and there's not a lot of problems finding parking. Definitely recommend coming here for the tournaments, they are a lot of fun and are a good place to meet people. It's also a great place to chill and play PC games with some friends since they have a couple of smaller rooms that you can play together in. Some of the setups have lower quality keyboards/mice than other ones though, so you might want to check the stations beforehand. read more

I love finding cool mom and pop gems like this! I came here in the beginning of March to print some items for work. I'm a real estate agent and I was meeting a client nearby. I gotta say, I was happy with the help that I received from the front desk. The staff were very helpful and I was able to print out all my paperworks with a breeze. The price was good because it was only 25 cents per page! I did pay to use the computer to print but it wasn't very much, definitely better than at Kinko's! Chill family owned vibes, I saw many people here playing games and surfing the web. This place is really close to being great. So close I'm anticipating a change to this review. But as an active player of 2 fps games and 2 moba games I want to get my settings and gear right naturally, which is hard to do here. I went with my friend and we both agreed this place is definition of "GHETTO". When we just entered we got stared down by the cashier he didn't give a very friendly vibe. The room was already dark and the lights gave the feeling of entering your friends "man cave" but more gross. The computers are alright but then again we just played league so ya know. I used to always play on Euphnet's counterstrike servers. This is BEFORE v1.6 came out mind you, I quit once it came out. So I used to do fairly well, especially for a girl. It was fun to run around and pwn guys with an aug..eventually worked my way up to the ak and every now then and i'd get a good knifing in. (I loved the loud HUMILIATION!) There was one guy who always seemed to be in the server with me. His username was always "Kenny" He was pretty dam good, he pwned in the awp maps (no scope too!) He had some dam skills. We usually played on the same team and he saved my ass more than once or twice. So after awhile, I finally made it down to Euphnet itself. It was full of kids! I swear, they were all about 12 years old. But anyway, this cyber cafe is not too big, but it's well ventilated. They have the usual cyber cafe food fare: kimchee bowl ramen, cup o noodles, water, gatorade, soda.. but the thing that did me in was this: BAWLS. BAWLS - the true gamers' drink. The PRIME choice of gamers... It has such a high guarana content that there's a caffeine warning label on the bottle. So anyway, one night I was sitting in one of the rooms at Euph. I was waiting for respawn in the iceworld map (my favorite!!) when all of a sudden I realized... Kenny is at Euphnet too. I looked to my right, nobody there. I looked to my left.. I see myself on his screen.. I see him on my screen.. OHMYFUCKINGGOD KENNY IS THE 12 YEAR OLD KID PLAYING NEXT TO ME. I stopped playing counterstrike. P.S. Decent place to game. Decent computers and monitors BUT sub-par peripherals. Some employees are nice BUT some are NOT. VERY dirty including a very dirty and horrible smelling bathroom and microwave. A/C breaks or is turned off too often with how many hot computers are running. Somewhere to sit outside would be nice. The outside is a nasty concrete patch that everyone spits on and trash juices stain it. The walls inside and out are very dirty as well. My buddies and I were longing for the good ol' days of LAN party glory. We set upon a quest to Sunnyvale and found ourselves at Euphnet. We were all first time comers so we had to go through the registration process, and the manager at the time, Jeremy, patiently got us set up. We sat down by the water cooled gaming machines and started off with Left 4 Dead 2. After a few rounds of slaughtering zombies with various weapons, we switched to Team Fortress 2. However there was an issue running Steam on our machines, causing our computers to freeze and requiring a restart. Jeremy was very helpful troubleshooting our issues. He paused our usage time as we tried to work out the difficulties. Eventually we gave up and moved on to playing Counter Strike 1.6. Jeremy credited us with 20 minutes of additional playing time since we couldn't play Team Fortress 2. We finished off the night screaming "BOOM HEAD SHOT!" to each other as we played round after round of CS. Good to know that my wrist reflexes are still decent. Definitely a great LAN cafe to show who's better amongst your friends. I'd give that final star if we could've gotten TF2 running! read more

This place is great, I've been living out here in Sunnyvale since September and it just gets better and better. I guess that's a good and a bad thing because I get out of work around 6PM and there seems to be a waiting list now every time I go but they are getting more computers in. There is a mix of guys and girls so it's not all dudes gaming away. My game is CS : GO but every game is played here from World of Warcraft to Diablo 2, Borderlands, LoL, DoTA 2 and FF14 Online. This is a great place for a Lan/ competitive gaming experience. The equipment is top of the line the, the atmosphere is competitive, yet still carries a very lax social vibe. The they have a great staff, very warm and inviting, when ever they sense there could be a slight wave of lag (which isn't too common) they warn and reassure their guests that it is being taken care of. There's great food shops nearby and they allow you to bring in food from outside which allows you to comfortably set up shop at your desk to game and eat comfortably. They do carry consoles for those who like to game on xbox (only) with pretty much every hot game on the market. They keep themselves very organized and constructive in order to garentee a stable gaming experience. The only small downside would be that they're a bit pricey, but they make up for it with the service they provide. but hey, If you're lucky enough to find a seat during their "rush hour" you can find their price at a satisfying low. I've never been to a gaming center/Internet cafe before so I could be biased in my review but this place is awesome! Been coming here a couple times a week to play d3/league. Yes, sometimes the computers have some technical issues, and some of the chairs are downright worn out and ripped but for 3.50 an hour it's a pretty sweet deal. I always try to get the good chairs, even if I have to roll a bunch of chairs out of the way. Hehe. There's an ashtray outside too if you have to take a smoke break.
