Ok so update, my last review I mentioned a super helpful employee but I didn't get her name…read more Well, I GOT IT her name is Karina! (I hope I spelt it correctly.) Anyway she was there again! My cousin and I literally talked with her for at least 10 minutes about the TADC movie and our thoughts on it, but if you ever visit hot topic and Karina is there, she's freakin awesome and one of the nicest retail employees I think I'll ever meet. However. My story does not end there! There was also this other employee named Armando! He was super duper helpful and honestly he was a whole vibe, amazing person too. He showed us where the Jax plush's were (my cousin and I both ended up buying one so thank you so much!) he also showed me where the one piece merch was!!!!!!! Anyway, hot topic is normally a mid experience you know nothing too awesome or out of the ordinary but armondo and Karina made it one of the best experiences ever, literally those two deserve the biggest raise they can get.

I have always loved how friendly and accepting the staff is, but the past few times I have gone in and experienced rude teen behavior from the staff! Let me give you one petty example -- My favorite band is The Used. I have a HUGE tattoo on my forearm of the bands' logo and I was wearing a The Used shirt when I approached the desk to ask if they had received any of the new merch that The Used had just dropped and was advertised at Hot Topic... The gal working the front desk (Wearing all My Chemical Romance stuff -- only relevant if you know the drama between The Used and MCR lol) looks at my shirt, looks at my arm, and then goes "The Used isn't really relevant anymore, so we don't carry their merch" in super degrading and snotty tone... I thought it was sort of funny, especially since THEY LITERALLY HAD A SHIRT ON THE WALL... Anyways, there is one guy - I think his name is "Jay" or something similar and he is super friendly and helpful and definitely way better than snotty MCR girl lol.. he is almost always working and happy to help!

All I needed to do was send it to a certain email for the machine to receive it. Then I did want some papers laminated, so I headed to the desk to help me. The guy with long hair and glasses was helpful and nice. He gave great customer service and was quick. It only costed me 4 bucks to laminate. Overall it took like five minutes. Super easy if you have your stuff organized and know what you want to do.

While it's sometimes hard to find anybody in the aisles to help you, if you go up to the front, they will surely stop what they are doing and help you. If you go to the picture framing, I have found them to be incredibly helpful. Most of the times the prices are reasonable and at least equivalent to most other craft and school supply store. Sometimes when I am there randomly, I find amazing deals and sales. I recommend you download the app because they always give great discounts.

I had the worst shopping experience ever today at the local Lululemon store. I scheduled an…read moreappointment for noon, during my lunch hour. I confirmed my appointment at 11:30am. I leave work and arrive at the store at 12:07pm. I checked in with the person at the door and she told me I was late for my appt and that I would be canceled or skipped. I explained to her that I was on my lunch hour and I had to drive there. She kept going on about how i should have texted or called if I was going to be late. She would not stop. There was a person in line behind me that heard the whole thing. I had to stop the check in person and ask her if I can go in or not. I walked in then she proceeded to tell the customer behind me that she had to wait because I was late. I spoke with the manager regarding the whole situation, which she did not apologize for or seem to care at all. This is the last time I will shop at our local store. I went straight to Yelp to find the had a low rating mainly due to customer service. Not sure why because my experience what awesome. This store was once the Bakersfield Scuba location which appears that they took over the business that was next door because from my memory it's a lot bigger. The store was absolutely packed with shoppers and staff that was working there. At first it was hard to tell the difference because other than the few guys that were in there everyone was in yoga pants. I was promptly created by a cheerful eager to make my experience a good one young lady. I told her what I was looking for and within 5 to 10 minutes I had an outfit purchased for my awesome wife. I can see why my friend at work likes this store so much, between the awesome customer service and great selection of clothing for both men and women you could easily spend your pay check her. However, I always need to make sure I charge my laptop beforehand since outlets are limited. I usually prefer to borrow books from the library or just read the ebook, but if I fall in love with a book then I'll get my own copy for my collection. Reading physical copies of the books hits so much different than reading them digitally.

Extremely Disappointed with the Service I rarely leave…read morenegative reviews, but my recent visit I came in expecting help with a simple issue, picking up a new phone and happy instead left feeling ignored, disrespected, and completely dissatisfied. the wait time was ridiculous -- I stood around for nearly 15 minutes while employees chatted among themselves, barely acknowledging the customers in the store. When I was finally helped, the representative seemed uninterested and rushed, offering vague answers and acting like my questions were an inconvenience. To make matters worse, they gave me incorrect information about my account When I tried to get clarification, I was met with more confusion and zero accountability. No one took the time to actually listen or resolve the issue properly. I've been a Verizon customer for years, but this experience seriously made me question that loyalty. I hope this was an isolated incident, but based on the attitude in that store, I'm not confident it is. Do better, Verizon.
